Review: To any one who is an avid gamer, this game will shurely prove to be a memorable experience. If you thought that counter-strike was a good game, then you'll love this game. So far all i, and anyone, have played is the multiplayer demo, and already, even though it is the first release and a beta version at that, the gameplay is awesome. You can select from various types of game modes such as Infiltration-a team based co-op where each team (terrorists and anti-terrorists) have their own objectives, Deathmatch-a straight up free for all, team death match-a team based free for all, and elimination-last team left alive wins, and many more. The way some of these versions are set up is really awesome. Infiltration, for example, gives the player only one life, making gameplay nerve-racking and extremely fun, it also brings a sense of realism to the game as no one is recklessly running around corners with total disregard for themselves (the thought being that if they die they'll respawn). With the weapons themselves, from what i've seen there are only "real" weapons (i.e.-no laser guns, etc.), and the realism inside the weapons themselves is astounding. The barrel mounted RPG on the m4 requires the players "hand" to move from the main trigger down the the RPG trigger, another little "real" part in the game. Obviously one should notice that i can't say enough about this game but...bottom line...BUY THIS GAME, you won't regret it...if you do send it to me :)

Summary: Soldier Of Fortune 2, The Next Great Game
Review: Soldier of Fortune was a great game that added many new features to the first person shooter genre. Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix looks like it will be even better than the first one. Using the Quake 3 engine this game has very beautiful, highly detailed graphics. It will have many new weapons and some old favorites. You will also be able to combine weapons, for example, an Uzi and a Pistol or two pistols. This game will also ship with four multiplayer modes and tons of maps to play them on. It should also have a very good single player campaighn as well. With great graphics, new weapons, awesome single and multiplayer modes, Soldier Of Fortune 2:Double Helix is definitly a game to watch for.

Summary: So far....VERY Good !
Review: The first Soldier Of Fortune was incredible, and this one stands to draw the crowd in that didn't play the first one. There is a test multiplayer release out for the public to partake in, and even with only one level the game proves worthy of purchase. Raven has yet to disappoint on any release, and SoF2:DH is no exception. Multiple gameplay modes allow for experiences similar to games from Rogue Spear to Q3A types. A definate must-buy in my book. ;o)

Review: dumbest game I've ever played. Poor graphics. Such idiotic dialog. Boring, linear plot line. And the kicker: Artificial Intelligence that allows you to completely circle an enemy, but they still can't see you. One star.

Summary: Decent
Review: This is one gamer who began his military video gaming experiences with DF5: Black Hawk Down so when I was introduced to this title, I had some high hopes. Thankfully, the game does not entirely disappoint. I will say it is average when compared to Black Hawk's look and feel. It should be realized that this is a different game from a slightly different time. I'd say the graphics are comparable to Max Payne, the cut scenes anyway. Maybe slightly less well done but they pull it off well. If you go into it with that mindset, you'll be pleased. As for the gore that people comment on, why do you buy a game like this when what you expect is Candyland? Action games have action/violence/gore. That's why they're called FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS/ADVENTURE games. Nothing is too gorey. Play Postal 2 and follow it up with this one and settle down.

Perhaps my only gripe in this game is the fact that the enemies herein are incredibly tough SOBs. I've shot a bad guy point blank in the face with the .45 and watched him shrug it off like I slapped him with a wet noodle. What's up with that? I set the game for FULL VIOLENCE so I guess this just means that if I want to be more effective I have to empty an entire clip into him next time. Well ok.

Stealth also appears to be nearly impossible. How does a guy a block away hear me throw a knife into his buddy's neck, dropping him like a sack of potatoes. No screaming, cause like, he's got a blade in his jugular. Never mind it's raining like cats and dogs too. I guess I should just full tilt boogy and fire away from now on. Well, ok.

Decent graphics, NECESSARY gore, rock em sock em shoot em up bang bang. It's enough to make anyone lay down the dead presidents regardless.

Summary: Dont play on an empty stomic
Review: I just got double Helix a few days ago. When I opened the box there was a warning stating that the game was realistically violent and it is intended for mature gamers; that's an understatement. This game is freaking violent and bloody. Limbs can be blown off, heads can be cut off, and internal organs can fly out of the body, and all this followed by a lot of blood. Putting that aside Double Helix is an average first person shooter. The story is very simple and there aren't any twists or turns making the story quite boring, but it moves the game along, so I'm not complaining. The graphics are average and could be better considering it came out farley recently. The game box clames it is a covert action game but after playing it for an hour or so, I realized it was pretty much a shoot'um up with very little strategy. You have a good armament to choose from but all the weapons are pretty basic, none of them are special. You can chose from an M4, a shotgun, a socom pistol, frag grenades, and the one and only OICW. Were have we seen that weapon before, oh yeha in Ghost Recon. Most of the game you are by your self but in a couple of levels you have some soldiers fighting beside you. Some of the controls are annoying and hard to use so you may want to reconfigure them. Double Helix is a good game, but should not be played by people under 14 years old. And since it is so cheap it is definitely worth it. Just remember to play on an empty stomach.
