Rating: Summary: game of the year Review: After playing interstate 82 i realize how real the game is. Its one of the most exciting and fun games ill ever play in my life!
Rating: Summary: Very Sad Review: From hearing different reviews of this game, it took me about a year to finally pick it up. I am a huge fan of I76. Bought the diecast cars, Jammed to the soundtrack while cruising around, etc. I'll give it to you straight... This game sucks. I'm glad I picked it up on Ebay for $10.00 (And thats with shipping) brand new. If I had paid more, I would probably have to file a lawsuit or something.. Thats how bad it is. As far as I'm concerned there is no sequel to Interstate 76. Shame on you Activision.
Rating: Summary: Very Challenging and Entertaining Review: No game could ever compete with I76. The genre' could never be duplicated by anything. I82 is the closest anything will ever come. It is a great game to play and very challenging......even with cheats...heh-heh. Great Action-Adventure. Only downfall is that you have to wait for each level to load and that takes away some of the adrenaline rush.
Rating: Summary: Interstate 82 Review: Pretty good sequel to Interstate 76. But it's really buggy and I'd wait a month or two until the inevitable patches come out for it, especially if you plan to play over the net. Cool story for the single player game, but the graphics on my voodoo 3 aren't as impressive in I'82 as most of the new games are.

Rating: Summary: bad excuse for a game Review: this game is really bad. the multiplayer is okay but as soon as you get out of your car, you get run over! nothinig can take the fun out of playin i76 original. nothing.
Rating: Summary: really fun if you can get a game going online Review: This game is really easy. In the campaign, there are a few missions that are challenging, but with a little effort and thinking and correct outfitting of your vehicle, they can be easily overcome. The melee mode where you free-for-all fight against AI is Ok, but even with the A.I. on hard and very hard I was still not having much trouble with them. Also, no matter what level I had the AI on, at least 3-5 times a match I would spot one of them trying to drive through a wall. However, if you can find anyone online, it's a lot of fun, despite the fact that the physics of the game is practically nonexistent. That just adds to the fun, usually. This game is a lot of fun, and setting up your cars is a blast. Most of the maps are large, which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. It can be bad because it can take a little time to find your enemies(the radar is pretty effective, so this isn't really a problem)or it's good because it makes escapes a little easier. The pedestrian mode is a fun addition, even if you get mowed down more often than not. You at least get one last chance to survive rather than just going down with your car. If the AI had been better(thus making offline play better), I would've given this 5 stars. Playing offline isn't bad, it's just nothing compared to online, as with most games.
Rating: Summary: This game has a fansy box Review: This game was a sorry excuse for a new game in this day and age. Though the graphics are ok, its extreamly buggy. I press the left and right key for turning the car and my computer freezes. Its extreamly simple to die, and if you die once it takes 5 minutes to reload and restart the game. If I had the chance to buy it again, i would not take it in a million years.
Rating: Summary: Exellent! Review: This is the best game since the prequil Interstate '76. The feature which allows you to exit your vehicle is the best and alot of fun.
Rating: Summary: Interstate 82 Review: You can't help but feel disappointed when you play this game as it's not as good as it's prequel, Interstate 76. The graphics are noticably poor, well below current standards and the gameplay has suffered from it's shift to arcade blaster from it's previous incarnation as a simulation. The game is generally less involving and exciting, especially the first level which takes all of ten seconds to do - and you don't even need to shoot anything. But the story and acting are a diffrent matter and if the developers had spent as much time working on the game as working on the AVI, this could have been a classic. Sorry Activision, lets hope the next one is alot better!
