Rating: Summary: Waste of money! Review: I can't even review the game, because I never could get it to work properly on my computer. Even after receiving tech help. My mistake is not checking these reviews before purchasing.

Rating: Summary: This Game Needs Work STAT! Review: I find this game too long to load simulations, does not have enough flexibilty when planning and launching German Air Raids and also crashes after each simulation ends. This game was not tested enough before release. Although the graphics are excellent, I cannot stand the constant simulation crashes, I am very disappointed with this game.
Rating: Summary: This game in unbelievable Review: I have been a fan of flight sims for a long while. Since the early '90s at least. Only very rarely does a game come along that stuns with its incredible graphics, unbelievable engine and stunning gameplay. The engine is powerful enough to display literally hundreds of aircraft at one time, really pulling you into the feeling that you are part of a massive battle and (if you play as the RAF) that you are well, and truly outnumbered. The level of difficulty in the game is almost infinitely customisable, with options ranging from invincibility to manual or automatic engine control, to having the option to set the weather so it is always favourable. Literally anyone of any skill level can enjoy this game. The aircraft are a joy to fly, and feel very realistic (although I, personally have never flown any of the aircraft in question, they stil feel right). And the incredible adrenalin rush that comes from being involved in a dogfight with multiple squadrons of spitfires and hurricanes versus hundreds of bombers and ME109s is second to none. The only game in recent years to even come close is "B-17 Flying Fortress : The Mighty Eighth", which, while still a very good game (and very worthy of your attention) is not as good as this. As for the numerous people who have had technical issues with this game, all i can say is that i'm sorry this has infringed their enjoyment of such a fantastic product. I, personally, have not had any such issues, and on my system (PIII 800 with 256Mb RAM and 32Mb Video Card) the game loads very quickly and runs incredibly smoothly. In short, This game is the ultimate flight sim for anyone who wants a historical game with a real sense of involvement in the battle being fought. For a modern day couterpart see the wonderful "Falcon 4".
Rating: Summary: IF YOU LIKE FLIGHT SYMS . . . AVOID THIS ONE!! Review: I have flown combat sims the past fifteen to twenty years. Some are favorites, and many weren't worth the time it took to load them on the system. Rowan's Battle of Britain is in the later catagory. And I can ramble on for five or six paragraphs detailing the problems I personally experienced with Rowan's "Battle of Britain". ... Rowan dropped the ball . . . again (MIG ALLEY) with another missed opportunity. I'm just taking the time to tell you to avoid this baby . . . unless someone =gives= it to you.
Rating: Summary: Be ready for the learning curve Review: I own and play quite a few sims. I thought this would be a vast improvement over "European Air War" but I was wrong about this. Very, very disappointed

Rating: Summary: They Could've Tested It Before Releasing It Review: I purchased this game for my Dad (who's a pretty savvy computer user in his own right), based upon our mutual enjoyment of Rowan's "Mig Alley". This game WON'T install, we can't uninstall it, and to add insult to injury, Mig Alley now crashes when we try to run it (so there's obviously some kind of heinous conflict going here). Just another case of a game, delayed ad infinitum, and finally foisted on the public so that we, having paid full retail, can debug it for the developer.
Rating: Summary: NEGATIVE 32 Stars Review: I spent $32 to have a pretty cheesy-looking software box sitting at the bottom of my closet for the rest of eternity, never to be touched again. This "game," if that's what you want to call it, is the most unstable POS I have ever tried to install. It freezes up within seconds of trying to do anything. The Better Business Bureau is probably licking its chops to take these guys down. Rowan should offer full refunds to every single person who paid money for this sad piece of code. Even I can write code that doesn't work.
