Rating: Summary: Great game! Review: My review is about the review done by James A. Reynolds III. All of his reviews are worthless. He never gives insight about the game, movie, book, etc. He just spews the same Taliban-like crap from right-wing conservative morons. Leave your political views out of the reviews. If you want to continue to make these stupid remarks, go to Foxnews.com. Fox news - they lie & you comply.
Rating: Summary: Beaten only by doom Review: This game is really cool. Lots of gags, great gameplay and better weapons then doom. This is a pure quality game and by far the best duke nukem game. If you like 1st person shoot em ups this game is a must.A really brilliant game, not to mention violent.
Rating: Summary: An absolute blast Review: Yowza! Now, this is the game that Quake should've been, but wasn't! Released a couple months before Quake, this 3D romp set the new standard for first person shooters. More than just a blast-fest, Duke Nukem 3D introduced the aspect of having an interesting starring hero. Who can forget Duke's endless one-liners that he throws around as you ...in single and multiplayer? "hail to the king, baby!" "you're an inspiration for birth control!" The graphics were smashing at the time, the weapons are fun and some are unique(shrinkray, freezer, pipe bomb), and the enemies are varied and amusing. Duke Nukem 3D is all about interactivity. Mirrors are smashable, toilets are usable, and strippers are payable. All this is good tongue and cheek fun, though the violence may be a bit too much for the kiddies. Multiplayer is absolutely awesome fun. I suggest, though, that you go with network play on this one. Multiplay over TEN is pretty unstable and hit-or-miss. All you can do is launch the game and cross your fingers. Unfortunately, also, no one can join the game once it's started. Everyone must start at the same time. ....
