Summary: Fun and entertaining
Review: Before playing this game I'd never played a game beyond a Teen rating and never had an interest to, generally turned off by violent games, but this one was certainly surprisingly interesting.

In the game you play a SWAT leader (except in different modes) and you have to capture or take down the criminals across the city, and sometimes save airplanes.

The game is violent, but is entertaining and will offer hours of gameplay. It's the first, and best action-shooter I've ever played and highly recommend it.

Summary: Very Intriguing....
Review: From start to end, this game has non-stop, heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping action, through the downtown high rises and the suburbs of Los Angeles.

This game is very real, and that's why I mention that it's basically nerve-racking and somewhat horrifying if you don't know where and when your "tango" will kill you out of nowhere. I have had some very memorable moments on the 50th floor of the LA City Hall mission, midnight, where the office room was pitch black with the dim lights in the background. Tangos just erupt with gunfire and scare the daylights out of ya, that's how real this tactical game is, especially when they scream and laugh with a devilish tone, really.

The weapons are totally realistic with that Swat force type sound to it. You know, I was ordering myself to order my enemy to get down to the ground, very loudly, and had to kill my enemy with the AK47 while my team brought him down! What I'm saying is that this type of action just doesn't occur in any other games I've played!

I absolutely love the missions/levels. This one level, an underground sewer storm drain mission, where you had to disarm 6 bombs or so, it was pitch black, but I could see well with my flashlight. With my team members behind me, they caught an enemy down the tunnel with full force, yelling, and bone-crushing resistance! What a scene though!

You shouldn't be worried about graphics--they have been fine for me for the last three years or so, and I have had graphics cards down to 16 BIT, 64 MB memory, and it still worked very satisfyingly.

Planning is a cinch, provided you hit the right commands at the right time (keyboard-wise), while PLAYING. The developers of this game make those commands worthwhile, I tell you. Recently, on a mission where I was to detain a suspect that was part of a domestic crime, I ordered two of the five of my team members to each throw a flashbang and a frag grenade. What a scene! Total action, enemies eliminated in the bathroom with the use of these nifty commands. You can also direct your team members to other locations, ask them for a lightstick, all kinds of stuff.

Nothing is more intensifying and chilling as SWAT 3. I've played a lot of Rainbow Six games. But this game is much more than that. In Swat 3, planning is very realistic with the specific orders it provides, graphics are excellent and show eye-candy on the details, gameplay is so real, sound is terrifyingly real but is so very REAL!!!--like I said before, ADRENALINE-PUMPING!!

Review: Generally, I uninstall the action games after I passed all the missions. This was the first one I kept. The reason-the game is awesome. AI is excellent, communications are usefull and effective, graphics and sound are beatifull. The gameplay is well-thought and exiting. Now I play it at least once a week and still have fun.

Summary: Can you say WOW!
Review: Holy cow! This game has everything! It gets your adrenaline pumping. AND ITS A VIDEO GAME! How many video games can do that! It even makes you uneasy turning corners. The graphics are superb also! The one downside is that the careers are to easy to beat. Other than that 5 stars doesn't begin to describe This Game Of the Year!

Summary: a nice surprise
Review: I bought this to tide me over until RAVEN SHIELD and BLACK HAWK DOWN come out next month. It's great. Basically you are in command of an LAPD elite SWAT team in charge of defusing various situations, most involving hostage rescue. The in-game commands are simple and easy to learn. You can point and click to command a team to "bang and clear" a room, and the space bar brings up all available weapons and tactical items. Also, unlike a lot of games, the suspects are placed randomly throughout the map, making each try different. Also, unlike RAINBOW, you can arrest or kill suspects (although many suspects prefer to go down fighting). It will take a bit of time to learn the in game commands. You don't have to plan out a mission in detail like you do in RAINBOW. Your choice of weapons is not great, but you have enough selection to do the job.

Summary: The worst game ever, 0 stars!
Review: I hate this game! It's not worth the [money] that went down the
toilet when I bought this, it's a horrible game, even worst than
Iwo Jima, and that's pretty bad.
The graphics suck, the gameplay is horrible, if you shoot a bad
guy, you're kicked out of the SWAT organiztion, oh, yeah, and one
shot kills, which really blows. The AI is the worst from ANY game, and that's as low as you can go, if I tell a team member to
pick a lock, it takes him five minutes to do so, the controls are

horrible, worst than Max Payne, and those are pretty bad. Take my
advice, don't buy this, don't even waste five bucks on renting it, if a unfortunate freind bought this, don't even borrow his. It's just not worth installing it.
Minus zero stars.
Don't buy this, Iwo Jima's even a better pick.
Hope this warning helped, only get it if you're a SWAT member,
it's just too hard, too complicated with horrible graphics and gameplay.

Summary: DA BOMB
Review: I have been playing SWAT3 for ever and this version is better than any othe fps even r6. In this game the single player is OK but hte multiplayer IS COOL hardly any loading and 1000s of mods. Want a paintball game? download zpaintball mod to get a paintball game or perhaps a r6 remake no problemo! (...) theres like 100s of players online and an easy to use multiplayer lounge. This game is so cool! in single player ther is anout 20 levels and 3 weapons but in multiplayer thers 500 downloadable missions and over 900 guns. This is cool!
