Summary: American Mcgee's Alice
Review: The graphics in this game are beautiful, some of the best i have ever seen. The level designs are intricate, addictive, and exceptionally planned out. Gameplay is a joy, no search for the key to open the door mindlessness. End level boss's seem imposing but they are not impossible to defeat. The use of toys as melee weapons is a breathe of fresh air. The story is such that you actually begin to care about Alice as you progress through the game. The voice acting is perfect, and the music could stand alone without the game. Alice offers much more than your standard run 'em gun 'em action shooter. Easily a contender for game of the year.

Summary: Alice (some of the bugs aren't the enemy)
Review: "Alice" is a wonderful and original first person 3-D shooter/puzzler .... when it works properly. There's the rub. I first had a problem with crashes though my machine is easily over the capabilities for running the game. That I fixed by going to a previous save and eventually going around it. The second problem is that Alice, her friends, her enemies and a lot of background items went completely white in the "Vail of Tears" section. Technical support has not been helpful. Too bad, without the bugs it would have been a 5. Let's hope they work out the bugs.

Summary: Perfection
Review: If you liked Doom, Soul Reaver, Quake, Half-Life or are person who likes to play games at all you will love this game. It is true perfection in every sense of the word. Its the Wonderland we all saw in our dreams and nightmares when we read the books.

Summary: Short but great!
Review: OK, so this game is linear and has little replay value. I have a job and a family, and don't have time for that stuff anyway. This game is easy to get into, you can play it for short runs at a time, and the scenery and psychedelic tone is candy for the brain, eyes and ears. That's all I ask, and this title delivers.

Summary: Lewis Carroll would have loved this
Review: Way too many people connect Alise with Disney's shoddy "Alice In Wonderland" cartoon, which was miles away from Lewis Carroll's original story. The books "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" and "Through The Looking Glass And What Alice Found There" are light and fluffy on the outside, but between the lines there are darkness and violence. This is what American McGee has put the emphasis on in this game.

Wonderland has turned in to a living hell, and it's up to Alice to save the game. Seeing that Alice has been in a mental institution for the past ten years doesn't make this game any less violent of course.

Although this is mainly an action game, you will find a lot of jumping puzzles and more adventure-like puzzles. The gameplay sort of reminds me of the late 80s, early 90s platform shooters, which is not a bad thing. There are a lot of interesting weapons which mostly are connected to the previous Alice books.

Graphically the game is amazing. It fits the Alice mood perfectly, and it's almost taken directly from the books. The music and voices are great also.

My only real complaint is that the difficulty level seem to be a little un-even. It goes from beeing very easy to being way too hard and back again a few too many times. Also the puzzles are a little on the simple side.

Overall though, the game is fun to play, and the storyline is carried on flawlessly. A must for all Alice fans.

Summary: insanely obsessed
Review: after i found an advertisement in my email inbox, i fell in love and HAD to get my hands on a copy. luckily, my girlfriend found me a copy as it was sold out during the holidays, and i got it as a present.

this game acts as the third and final book of Alice's stories, and is damn well constructed. you're Alice, stuck in a coma at a mental hospital after a fire destroyed your home, your family, and your skin. you're beckoned one final time to the now insanely demented & psychadelic Wonderland. your only friends are a knife & the familiar disgruntled grin of the chesire cat. you must overthrow the Red Queen and everyone who has now turned against you...all so you can come out of your coma...

ALICE is definitelty not intended for children, as it may give bring their own nightmares of Wonderland in their slumber. the ingredients of this game are violence, gore, logic, and a sharp eye.

American McGee's ALICE is definitely an instant classic among gamers. live the legend. and finish it.

Summary: Through the Looking Glass
Review: When I saw the trailer for this game I thought it looked sweet, but soon however after I bought it I realized that this game does alot of injustice to the entire concept behind the book that Alice was based on.This is a kids game with a mature rating any adult i would hope would understand that Through the Looking Glass was a antiwar, antiviolence satire. The entire reason Alice went to wonderland had been to escape war torn England.Other than that it has some of the worst gameplay and control factors ive ever seen.I wanted to like this One,but couldnt.

Summary: A Good Effort
Review: This game is graphically stunning, the story is very interesting, and the sound is exellent, but this game has one huge flaw that I can't look beyond ther is no joystick support. Playing games while hunting down the right keys on a keyboard removes me from the gaming experience. Any action based game should have joystick support, thats why a home console system comes with a gamepad, not a keyboard. If this game had support for a joystick I would definately play it more, but untill EA creates a patch or upgrade it will probably just sit on my desk.

Summary: Alice at her best!
Review: I'm a big fan of Alice in wounderland and this game is one of the best action adventures I've ever played. This game has it all Puzzles, action, beautiful graphics, awsome sounds and music. The over all level design was created with the Quake engine, So the action is fast and intence. The only down side is for those of you out there will slow PC's. This games min. requirments are PII or better 400mhz 128megs or ram and you just cant get the full experience with out a good sound card, 5.1 surround is the best. But if you can run this Gladiator of games then no doubt about it, BUY IT. You wont be sorry.

Summary: Alice
Review: All of you who complain about the graphics obviously know nothing about PC games, the graphics are a thing of beauty, people complaining about the graphics are idiots. The AI is stupid as when you attack they often run around like chickens with their heads cut off. And the combat can be irritating as many weapons are slow and or ineffective. The game is fun nontheless.
