Rating: Summary: It is a great game Review: I think it is a great game. It is a great game for all people who love strategy games. If you are a veteran or a beginner player you will still have a great time with this game. I personaly like it because I like all the different units and all of the different buildings you can build. I also enjoy all of the different strategy you can use to defend you base and counquer the enemy. For more information on the game I suggest going to westwood.com. I would suggest buying the game only if you are sure you would like it but if it were up to me wast no more time reading this review and go ahead on buy it. If you enjoy this game you might want to buy Yuri's Revenge, the expantion pack of Red Alert 2.

Rating: Summary: awsome, with bonus stereotyping! Review: I bought this game and it's expansion pack (Yuri's Revenge) from a friends recommendation. I have yet to play the expansion, but I can tell you that the Number 2 is some of the greatest moments in gaming that I've had in a while. The graphics could, well, use some upgrading, at least on the individual "human" units. The people are rather chunky and pixilated, but everyting else (buildings, vehicles, explosions) look great, especially at high resolutions. As with any good RTS game, you get your standard Skirmish mode, Campaign, Internet play, and the ability to network through a LAN, but I haven't figured out how to use it yet because it requires more than passing knowledge of networks. Basically, if you have ever played Counter-Strike or any game like that where it just gives you a plain view of your local games, don't expect that in this game. Upon opening up the package, you will see 2 discs, the Soviet (my favorite) and the Allied. There different in ways like unit types, tech trees, and so on. The game is set in the future, so expect to see mind controling devices and tesla coils. At any rate, the story is told through the campaign, and you might want to grab the expansion (Yuri's Revenge) when you beat it, probably because you will be craving even more of this 5-star RTS.
Rating: Summary: Red Alert 2 was better Review: I had really liked Red Alert 2 and thought this would be just as good. It has a lot of new units and features, but I expected more. It was worth buying, though. you can get a patch for it that fixes Red alert 2's non-obvious problems. But you can no loger make multiple Tanyas. It also has a lot of errors, but my computer does that with most games anyway.
Rating: Summary: okay i only played the demo Review: this game is just okay it has a lot of lag and whever i tried to get a plane the (because hackers like me have air mod hehehehehe) would always bunch up together and you couldent fly the cause it would be stuck all and all it an okay game ...
Rating: Summary: Finally, a small GDI gunner can survive Review: This game is incredible. My first thought was, yay a Gunner has a chance against a tank. And he does. They couldn't have made a C&C FPS much better than this. The only thing that concerns me is that in Multiplayer practice the AI is the stupidest you've seen. HOwever if you look at some of the people online, the AI starts to look intelligent. Some people complain about lag but any friendly intelligent person will tell you just press F8+C+Enter to improve lag.Great Game, I need to buy it.
Rating: Summary: Great MultiPlayer Review: This review refers to the multiplayer aspect of this game. I've put in many hours on a lan playing this game against friends, and each game is more exciting than the last. And, thankfully, it's not bogged down with state-of-the-art graphics or 3 dimensional rendering to slow down the systems. When we got tired of decimating each other, we turned to teaming up against computer enemies, who can be downright vicious on the hardest setting. There are many countries to choose from, the communists being the meanest of course. Each country you can play has strong points and weak points, but they are all fairly balanced. If you like to have a strong base, the French have a massive defensive cannon. If you like to hit & run there are several countries with powerful air-support. And the KGB has been working hard on a few things for the communists. This game's fallback is the AI. If your men are standing at the perimeter and an enemy starts attacking, they don't defend themselves until you tell them to. And sometimes, for no reason, your miners (your source of income) will stop mining until you tell them to again. These are things you can adjust to once you know what to look out for, and don't detract from the game too much. I haven't played this game in campaign mode, but this is the perfect network strategy game because it doesn't tie up resources and is very well balanced.
Rating: Summary: It's a fun game to play!! Review: This is a very enertaining game to play, even though it lacks of that tech step forward. I think it is a good sequel of the previous C&C games. But westwood has to do something really spectarular to keep up. Maps and characters are like cartoons, the fire and sound are ok. The scaling still needs a lot of work. Yet it is very easy to play!!
Rating: Summary: Good Review: Yuri's Revenge gives rebirth to the C&C Red Alert series. With a new story line, weapons and structures, improved controls and helpful features, and an entirely new army to command, Yuri's Revenge is one of the coolest strategy games ever made. The only things to complain about is that there is no Yuri campaign, the Allied and Soviet campaigns are relatively short, and Yuri's arsenal is kind of weak, relying almost completely on mind-control weapons. Also, the game is somewhat easy. Anyway, Yuri's Revenge should be on all C&C fans' hard drives.
Rating: Summary: Kick [Bottom] Review: This game is so sweet i dont know where to start. the one player has so many levels and the difficulty is hard, but not impossible. And the multiplayer is so awesome. U can actually fly choppers and have flamethrower dudes blow the [stuff] out of people and tanks. (by the way u can drive tanks too) If u want to try it out before u buy it (which i would reccomened) go to westwood.ea.com for the multiplayer demo for Renegade and other command and conquer games. The demo does even compare to the real game
