Summary: One of Voyager's crew
Review: Okay! I saw the game and I had to have it. I'm a trekie and I bought this game whether or not I had the proper video card and enough usable memory, which I didn't have either. So I did what any good cyber shopper would do, and I bought me the Voodoo 4-500 video card (this card has its own cooling fan) Pretty hot--HUH? Then I bought me another 64 mb of memory. Then I played the game. You wont be disappointed, even if you have to do what I did and buy the card and extra memory. Sooner or later you're going to have to upgrade anyway, might as well be now. I've finished the game in normal difficulty, but now I'm going for the challenge, and there is still the, very difficult, yet to conquer.

What I like most about this game is, you have to use you head as much as you do the firing button. It also lets you test the new weaponry in the holodeck. The actual voices of the Voyager crew, give the game a life that makes you feel like you're one of the crew.

Summary: Great Game!
Review: This was a great game though it was pretty easy. It is very obvious what needs to be done to get to the next level. The graphics are great, but make sure you have a good system 500MHZ or better I would say. Holomatch is really fun. You get to play other people across the net. I would recommend!

Summary: Excellent Game
Review: Elite Force is easily the best Star Trek game ever, especially since most Star Trek games have been flops. It is very good though. The developers cut all of the annoying jumping puzzles and the like while making the game, so no parts of it are very frustrating. Actually, it provides a very entertaining experience from start to end, with great graphics and an interactive storyline. The only reason Elite Force didn't get five stars from me is the fact that the game is very short. I think that the developers made the right choice to cut all of the annoying stuff, because I really enjoyed every moment of my time playing Elite Force. It is truely worthy of your time.

Summary: Very exciting
Review: I really like this game a lot. Although I haven't noticed very many jerks. Its slow at times, but it really lags after the level first loads. After that though, I havent seen many jerks at all and I have a P3 450. One thing that I don't like is that it takes FOREVER to load a level, and there's no progress bar, and the levels are short, so you have to load levels a lot. Another thing is that the AI is really bad. They don't even see you, so once there was something behind me, and my buddies didn't se me and they KILLED ME! Grr. It is nice to have the extra firepower, though. One more thing, It's way to easy.

Now, to the good stuff.

It has a very good plot. I also like how if you make one mistake, it changes the course of the whole game. The model re-makes are pretty good. However they made a Major goof in sickbay. The console is WAY out of place. But other then that the game is really good. Also, the multiplayer is really good. they did a great job thinking of power-ups. Including jet-packs.

I highly recommend you get this game. But be careful, it's addicting.

Summary: The Borg Are Back!
Review: Elite Force is a really great game! The graphics are sweet, and the game play is so smooth! Each level of play gives you a challenge. All the enemies look so real, especially the Borg. My favorite levels are the ones where you infiltrate a Scavenger ship, especially the part where you are in a Mirror Universe ship. Be warned, once you get started, you won't want to stop! I made the mistake of trying to start a new game when I was almost at the end. Don't do that! The old game will erase, leaving you to start over.

Summary: Absolutely outstanding
Review: One of the best first-person shooters ever, Elite Force combines exceptional graphics, a surprisingly good plot, some innovative squad-based action, and the familiar voices of the show's characters. Save for the weak ending, I can't say enough good things about this game. It's a must-have for Star Trek and FPS fans alike.

Summary: Fun for Trekkies more than FPS players.
Review: I've played most of the Trek games out there; this is by far the most fun and playable. The single-player game plays out much like a weekly espisode of voyager, with titles, intros, cut-scenes, and character interaction. The way the characters interact during the game is incredibly engaging; you're able to eavesdrop on casual conversations between crew members and such. The atmosphere and story are pure Trek, and the game tries hard to incorporate many of the fan's favorite parts of the series: Borg, Hirogen, 8472, universal cataclysms, evil aliens that can only be stopped by the rightousness and creativity of the Federation, etc. Most of the character's voices are the actual show's cast, which is cool. The multiplayer holomatches are even more fun and entertaining.

Ok, the downsides - the first person game is really short and easy. That is, up until the final boss, when the game becomes completely impossible to win because 1) that boss can kill you with one attack and 2) that boss's attacks always land. The levels are small and completely linear, so its impossible to get lost or confused because there's always just one way you can go. The character dialog is Trek-like, but doesn't really par up to the show. And the different alien species don't behave differently enough to make fighting them interesting (with the exception of the Borg). This game also requires one beefy system to run smooth. I was playing on a 500mhz/96MB ram with a voodoo 2, and every time the action got heavy the game play started getting slow and skippy.

The multiplayer is a lot of fun too, but I think it's due mostly to the fact that it's Trek - you're shooting Trek weapons and fighting Trek characters. The weaponry in the game is not terribly diverse, but in all honesty I've waited a long time to be able to say "fire phasers, torpedos away." And that's what makes this game fun!

Summary: Like being there
Review: As a relative computer game novice and fan of Voyager, I thought this would be fun.I haven't been disappointed. As many have stated, the effects are great. I find being able to move around Voyager and interact with the regular crew especially cool. If you're not an experienced gamer, the missions are hard enough to keep your interest, but not so hard that you get stuck immediately. Highly recommended.

Summary: The Best STAR TREK PC Game Yet
Review: I am often a little disappointed when I buy a video game or PC game based on Gene Roddenberry's STAR TREK universe. But there are also times when I am genuinely pleased, and this is one of them. I am a longtime fan of first-person maze games like the Doom, Quake, and Star Wars Dark Forces series. Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force ranks right up there with the best. The graphics are immaculate, the storyline is consistently interesting, and the challenge is...well, challenging! And while the one-player adventure is very good, the multiplayer mode is even better. I love the fact than you can get some practice in by starting a "solo match" against computer-controlled characters. I have never played an online "death match" with Doom or any other game, but Elite Force makes me want to give it a try! I have only two complaints about this game: There aren't a lot of hidden rooms or secrets like in the other above mentioned games, and you need a pretty high-end PC to play it well. I got satisfying results on my P3/600, but not everyone has a machine that advanced.

Summary: 15 / 10 and excellent game
Review: Cannot say enough good things about this. Don't know why I am writing a review when so many great reviews have been written. It really IS like being in an episode of the series. There are unexpected twists and turns also. They even managed to maintain the political correctness of Star Trek whilst allowing you to blow the hudaka out of enemies.

The weapons are great, I don't know what the editorial was talking about saying the weapons were boring, the weapons are GREAT - variety, utility.

The online game experience is VERY GOOD. Possibly better than Unreal Tournament, and that is saying a lot. Very tactical, great items and teamplay and using your brain for a change.

You can download heaps of extra maps and thigns too for FREE.

Note you can play in the HoloDeck by yourself as well, to practice.

If you are a fan of Star Trek get it.

If you hate Star Trek, absolutely HATE Star Trek, but like 1st person shooters, get it anyway - you will like it is very, very good.

Just get it, it is winning awards all over the place because it is truly classy.

This is the future of entertainment, where you are actually inside the movie.
