Review: When I bought this game I htought it would be geter then it was, dont get me wrong its a good game but 3DO has almost betrayed the idea of little plastic men this game has more then just your basic plastic army men we played with as kids theres little toy robots with a firecracker taped to its back whats up with that?! I was also looking forward to flamethrowers but do they have flamethrowers? NO! and it use better music too and a better over head view rather then up and to the side type of view. enough about whats wrong about the game I'll tell you whats good about the game. the main thing thats good about it is that this is what many army men fans have been waiting for: army men Command&Conquer style! the gerneral game play is good(eventhough you run outa energy very quikly) when you get use scorch you do actually get to see the enemy melt (very fun to watch and control) graphics are ok-good (better then early C&C games,lol) its impossible to use just one kind of unit you'll run out of energy to build tanks or choppers infantry die too easily when attacking (or defending for that matter) this game is best when you have huge amounts of green troops vs. huge amounts of tan troops (just like the backyard wars you used to have your toy solders) but you may not agree with all my cons so go to 3do.com and download the free demo first. good game but needs fices when 3do come out with a patch or expansion for it.
