Summary: Like being in a movie!
Review: First of all, all of you GTA fans who judge everything compared to the new and improved GTA Series (gta3 and Vice City) if you would drop your usual rating system and take a look at all the realism and effort put into this game.

This game starts out as you Tommy Angelo, as an unlucky but optimistic taxi driver. Your city 'Lost Haven' is full of crime and people who normally wouldnt give a damn about you until, your character joins the Mafia. He has his doubts but before you know it your getting into high-speed car chases, action packed gun-fights and a big roadster race!

This game is for the older age group but it appeals to almost any age, it doesnt contain 'gore' but alot of blood and well... Death. But if this game doesnt want you to break out the Godfather or any of your old gangster flicks I will be suprised, this game makes you feel as you are Tommy Angelo and you ARE in the Mafia. I hope this review will make some people change there mind and buy this amazing game!

A definite recomendation to buy!

You can thank me later! :)

Summary: This game is too short
Review: Whats up man... I finished this game in less than 2 weeks!!. You know that this game is different than any other games and is very interresting. But it is too short and easy.

This game does not have a good story. At the end of this game everybody in the team dies. I would have liked it if Tommy lives with his friends Sam + Paulie working for Saliery. You feel really bad when you shoot Sam who was your best friend. You save him in earlier missions and now you shoot him down.

I would have loved this game if it was a little longer and had more missions to play with. 20 missions on a interesting game like this is always not enough. I am waiting for Mafia 2.

Summary: A Classic!!!
Review: This is one of the best games I've ever owned. It has a great replay value, and has two free play modes on top of that. Graphics are great, sound is very immersive, and the control is similar to GTA3. The level of detail that was put into this game is exellent, and the cars, though renamed, are from that era and perform realistically. Police in the game will ticket you, arrest you, or try to kill you depending on the crime (running a red light, killing someone, smashing into another car, etc.). You can win many special cars in the "Free Ride Extreme" mode that are fun to drive, some top speeds of close to 200 mph, others are bulletproof or fast taxis. The story might remind you of the Godfather, or Goodfellas movies. I would buy this game if you like driving or FPS games.

Summary: Help me I am stuck!!!.
Review: I got this game about two weeks ago. I played it almost day + night. I just love this game because this game has everything. Normally on all games you get either shooting or just racing only. But this game has everything. Shooting, racing, + talking. That is the main reason everybody likes it.

Now I am in the 15th mission on part 8. I really need help from somebody. When I play this game I cannot find the gang leader which every body is trying to kill. I killed all of his guards and searched by building to building but cannot find him. If anybody knows how to find him please send me an E-Mail to [email]. If I get passed thru this spot I am sure I can win the game and I am sure I can help you.

Summary: Nothing but Driving
Review: What the ... is up with people. I haven't found this game buggy, just bloody boring. I wanted a mafia game, instead all I got was a driving game. All you do is constantly drive around town listening to dixieland playing in the background. And ... vintage cars that don't go over 50mph at that! What the ..., it's just nothing but friggin driving. The game starts, you have to DRIVE your future comrades to safety. Then you have to go on about 5 bloody taxi journeys all over the city. When that was all over I thought great, at last, now some real action. No. You have to DRIVE all the way across town just to smash a few car windows in and then DRIVE all the friggin way back. Then a few more ... missions, all of which require DRIVING all the way across town just to get to the mission, and then DRIVING all the way back. Finally I thought I had got to a point in the game where the real game was gonna start and I was gonna get a real mission. But no, what do I get? I have to DRIVE a friggin vintage race car round 5 laps of a race. I give up. I've had enough. This isn't what I bought this game for. What a con job. If i'd wanted a bloody driving game I'd have bought GTA or something like that.

Summary: Wow Its Awful
Review: I got this wonderful game last month. I have never seen such a nice game. This is a much differrent game from the others in the market. Normally if you buy a game it would be either action or racing or something else only. But this game has everything. Like drive your car, get out of it and slam a guy with your baseball bat or shoot the guy. You get many weapons to play with. We really feel like as we are a gangster. Every body in Sri Lanka LOVES it. And mostly I JUST LOVE IT... YOU MUST TRY IT TO FEEL IT. I would give all my 5 stars for this game.

Summary: THIS GAME ROCKS
Review: I thought this game was great. Not as violent as GTA3 or vice city yet still delivers great thrills. Its really fun but pretty hard. A great game for people who are interested in the history of the mafia life but dont like the violence of GTA3. I highly recomened this game to ages 13-99.

Summary: Good game...AI is a little lame, though....
Review: Graphically, this game is great. Gun fights are smooth and are executed with ease with the aid of great gameplay. The only problems I had with it are the fact that the majority of the time you sit in a fricken car, traversing a gigantic city to get to the better missions. And there's a part where you have to race 5 laps of a massive track and come in first--no matter what. One of the lamest parts of the entire game, as it's quite difficult because every single car in the game handles like a bed on wheels. In addition to that, the AI (and I use that term loosely, as there seems to be a lack of "intelligence") has got to be one of the lacklustre attempts I have seen...your mob guys run blindly into the midst of gun battles shooting hand guns at people that aren't even near them...I've seen them just stand in fire trying to do this, as well...not getting the hint that the 4 cops near them filling them with bullets and the fire running up their legs should take precedence over the guy hiding in a corner across the parking garage....Overall, a great game, though.

Summary: Great fun! This one's a swell game to play!
Review: No, I don't have the game, just the Demo. If the game is anything like the demo, it's going to be among the elite of games this year... A bit costly though... I'll have to wait awhile before I can afford it... Still, I've had a great time playing the Demo. Lot's of shoot em up action. Looks very similar to Grand Theft Auto III. Excellent graphics and cut scenes! Controls are pretty easy on the keyboard. This is one game I'd recommend for sure. But, use short bursts with your machine gun if you want to be effective.

Summary: Great Game, Slow Cars
Review: Don't buy this game expecting the pulse-pounding, high-speed chases that Grand Theft Auto 3 has to offer. Instead, expect a realistic and almost cinematic Gangster game. This game is enjoyable from the beginning, but gets even better the more you play and the more you reveal the plot. As you climb your way up the Organized Crime Ladder you realize the benefits and consequences of your actions. A great ending as well, I give Mafia 5 stars.
