Summary: ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER...
Review: I am not being biased when I say this game rocks although I have been a first-person shooter fan since Wolfenstein 3D first came out. This game is awesome. The feeling I got when I first played it was the same feel back in 1995 when I first played Dark Forces on my 486dx2 66mhz machine. I especially like how you build up your Force powers as the game progresses. It's a rewarding experience when you get through the Jedi training and obtain your lightsaber. By default though, the game is not set to chop off arms, legs, heads, thighs, and torsos, which was a dissappointment. But, after turning on cheats (i only set it on for this purpose) and setting the g_SaberRealisticCombat to 50 (setting is from 0-99, by default it's 0), I was laughing out loud when seeing the storm trooper get his head and hand chopped off for the first time. The only con I experienced with this game is that I experienced a bit of choppiness at first. I'm running a 1.5ghz, 512mb PC800, with a Geforce 4 ti 4400 and I was still seeing some choppy lines on my monitor with the refresh rate set to 120hz. The problem was due to something called "vsync". This was changed by entering r_swapinterval 1 into the console and running the vid_restart command. After that, the choppiness went away. This game is sweeet! If you're a fan of Star Wars games then this game is one you should definitely own. Lucas Arts has came through with a very fine production for it's gamer fans finally. ... Peace.

Summary: BUY IT NOW!!!
Review: I underestimated the power of this game....I thought it was going to be just another dull movie game....I was wrong...The force corrected me. Have you ever tried to imagine what a Jedi Battle will look like?....this game will take you right in the middle of a Jedi battle, lightsabers and FORCE powers included. Awesome movie like graphics and details. Plus several of the best gaming moments of your life!!! It is a bit long and Quake2 style but gradually you as you start mastering the Force it will deliver pure gamong pleasure!!! I will not spoil the surprises on all the cool stuff you get to blow up, throw, pull, and so on!! great FPS and TPS too. Multiplayer action is great as well!...Just buy it, my young Padawan learner!!!.....

Summary: Pretty good.........minus the graphics
Review: I just bought this game so u might not consider my review the most thought out. but anyway, this is a good game to buy (ecspecially considering the price) but only if your not someone like me who believes graphics are one of the most important part of the game. But besides the rather primitive graphics the game appears to be very well thought out, The game not only allows you to shoot down enemies to achieve your goal, but allows lightsaber duels. but probably the most interesting part about the game is you customize your jedi. You choose what force abilities he has and whether he is a good or evil jedi. This game is worth the ten dollars.

Summary: This game is an "OutCast"
Review: This game was a total disappointment to me. I loved all the other Star Wars games but this one is different. The graphics a pretty bad and the frame rate tends to slow down quite a bit. I don't have a brand new computer but its not that old and has been upgraded a few times and the game is still bad. I can't even stand looking at the grapics and all the flaws it looks like a playstation 1 game almost. Now if you have a brand new...[expensive] computer than get the game other wise for get it. I can honestly say I am a huge Star Wars fan, but I played this game for like 3 mins or less and was sick of everything ex. the controls, the game play, the slow downs, and I could go on and on...

Summary: Great PC game
Review: With all the Nintendo and Playstation games out there, its good to know that people are still making high quality games for the PC. This game is the best PC game to come out in a long time.

Summary: Bigtime
Review: The funnest game since half-life!! First levels are fun, but you are just waiting to get through them to get to the lightsaber. Great sound, Fabulous Graphics, Gameplay is awesome whether your a Star Wars fan or not. The lightsaber fights are unbelievable to say the least!! Just a great game hands down!! game of the year candidate for sure!!! However you need a high powered system to run the game!! I have a beefed up system, so I had no problems, and I was blown away with how bigtime and addictive the game gets as it goes on. A nice graphics card is key, if not you might be disapointed at the lag time. Multiplayer is well done too!!! The duels, to the James Bond type free for all makes the game last for a long time even if you beat it!! Get yourself a present and buy this game ASAP!!!

Summary: The best Star Wars game I've ever played.
Review: I have to give LucasArts a big bravo for this one. I haven't seen a good Star Wars game out since X-Wing Alliance. I thought the game was done brilliantly.

As a fan of the original Jedi Knight, I noticed the differences right away, primarily in the light saber system. In the original game, I adored the light saber and used it at every chance. I also embraced the force powers and used them, as well as the saber, more often then all my other weapons combined, but that was pretty hard since force powers only targeted one person at a time. Also, the saber fights weren't what I had hoped when I first saw the game. If you manage to pull it off right, you can get some of the slower, swashbuckler style fights seen in the original flicks - it was usually a standoff in which both people would sit back and run at each other now and again trying to land a blow while online saber fights were simply z-swing frenzies, but JKII changed that.

Now your choke can move people, you can pull multiple targets (and their guns) and force speed causes you to move faster in every aspect. The light saber fights were done beatifully, modeled after the Matrix-like fights from Episode I, with plenty of acrobatics and saber-clashing action (I especially love winning a saber lock). Some of the puzzles can be a pain, but once the action starts, you'll be begging for more.

All in all, I would have to say this is the best Star Wars game I've ever played. I recommend it to any Star Wars or FPS fan.

Summary: Stormtroopers still cant aim...
Review: This is probably the most fun FPS I've ever played. Then I got the Lightsaber, and had a 3rd person game...It was also the most fun 3rd person game i've ever played too.
Story-
The story is good, with enough twists to it to keep it from being completely contrived. The writers came up with enough twists to get you to the locations in the game, such as Bespin.
Control-
The control was ok. The forcepowers were sort of awkward to use, but some tweeking with the scheme fixes this. The lightsaber controls were ok, supposedly allowing you to do some neat moves, but in my experience, all of this went out the door in actual play, I just kept hitting buttons until I killed all my opponents. The ability to run up walls was neat, I didn't know i could actually do it until i was running down a hall and bumped against a wall and did it. It was cool.
Weapons-
I used some of the earlier weapons, but after the lightsaber, there was NO turning back. I couldnt even tell you the secondary features of half the weapons. The force powers are very, very cool. After some practice, you'll be running around pushing hoards of storm troopers down bottomless chasms, taking there weapons from them, and occasionally torturing an isolated Imperial Officers with the choke hold.
Gameplay-
Even on the Jedi difficulty level, this game is moderately difficult, mainly due to some of the impossible hoards of storm troopers you'll be facing.
There are some neat features to offer slight changes of pace in the game, such as the level in which you take control of an AT-ST and decimate ranks of storm troopers.
Slight problems occur with the level design, such as the impossible hole which is to be found on one of the Yavin stages. You'll know what i'm talking about...its some sort of sick joke.
Multiplayer-
I typically don't indulge myself in multiplay, as my slow 56k modem just cant handle it. I did some dabbling with this game, and kind of found it boring. The lightsaber battles werent nearly as interesting as the single player games, and some of the force powers are extremely unbalanced, especially on stages with death holes. Overall the multi play is ok...I'd recommend playing Multiplay before you mess with the single player game, or else you'll be disappointed.
