Rating: Summary: Good Lord! Review: Wow... this game is going to be a milestone. It's going to be legendary. Really, the gameplay is incredible, excellent character movements, reactions and superb AI. Your buddies and the enemy are very cunning. The graphics are beautiful, attention to lighting and textures, animated foliage. There has been talk about being able to take a lot of hits before you die- not so if played on HARD settings. You'll be lucky to round the corner without a bullet in your head. In any case, this game totally, completely beats the pants off that garbage game Op Flashpoint,(whats all the hype?) and Ghost recon. If you like pointy, square, cheesey landscapes and bad renditions of characters, poor voices, realy bad gameplay and a game that eats up all your machines memory and still looks and plays ..., buy Op flashpoint or Ghost Recon. wanna have fun playing a piece of art? Buy Medal of Honor-

Rating: Summary: somewhat unrealistic damage, but great fun! Review: love both the single-player and multi-player demos, but especially the single-player one. my only complaint is how many hits you can take without dying. it'll still be fun, but takes away from the otherwise impressive realism.
Rating: Summary: Best war game ever made Review: This is by far the best war game I have ever played and let me tell you I have played some really sweet games. On my computer the graphics are great, and the game runs smoothly, and I dont even have a top of the line computer. The people who say this game is no good, should get new graphics cards or better yet buy a new computor because if you dont buy this game you are going to miss out
Rating: Summary: Feels like Redneck Rampage Review: This game is too programed for me. This game is ment for 16 year olds not adults. There is none of the problem solving involved in Operation Flashpoint. Boring!
Rating: Summary: Medal of Honor is definitely a mixed bag. Review: The demo deals with a rather straightforward mission: locate and destroy a group of enemy rocket launchers. You lead a group of 3 soldiers thru a town, some ruins and then against the launch site itself. Lead is a misnomer because you can't actually give your fellows any commands. Which is too bad because they are dumb as bricks. They will stand in the open, taking shots for way too long and frequently spoil your efforts to sneak through an area. On the hard difficulty setting, you basically have to just give up on them and let them die. The battles you get into are very hectic and can be exciting but the game has a few major flaws that will seriously limit your fun. Enemies will spawn based on in game triggers. For instance, run into building 1, and enemies come pouring out of building 2 across the street to shoot at you. But if you skip building 1 and go right into building 2, those enemies are not there. This happens frequently. Also, these are the most eagle eyed soldiers you'll ever meet. Crouched or not, behind bushes, at ultra long range; they will always see you. Kind of unrealistic. Beyond that, you get some nicely modeled weapons that function for you relatively realistically. Hit locations matter and a head shot of any kind will finish off any bad guy, but you have a buncha health points. For those used to tactical shooters like Ghost Recon, its not quite as realistic as that. And for those used to Quake-style games its not quite as arcade like as those. Is a unique style and may or not appeal to you.The game looks pretty nice. Ran very well on my machine (athlon 750, 256 megs, geforce 2 mx-200 64mb) with only slight slow down during some of the more hectic moments. The colors do seem a little washed out but I think that's a style choice. they are obviously going for a Saving Pvt Ryan, Band of Brothers type look. Lots of olive drab, khaki and grey. Ocasionaly you'll see a gun barrel poke thru a wall but otherwise pretty sharp graphics. Explosions could be a bit better tho. The sound is probably the best sound I've ever heard in a pc game. The gun fire is startling. From the sound of shell casings hitting the floor, to the shuffle of footsteps, it's all done perfectly. Occasionally nearby voices will fade in and out, but that only happens rarely. Whatever you think of the rest of the game, the sound is a major step forward.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Realism Review: Of all the games that I have played that are based on the WWII theme, this is the most realistic out there. Contrary to most reviews, the game runs beautifully on my PC and unlike Return to Castle Wolfenstein (which is an excellent game itself, don't get me wrong here) which is more like a supernatural FPS than a realsitic one. The way the guns fire, the way the Axis soldiers fall to the ground in pain, the way the camera shakes when hit, all these things come together to make an experience quite similar to the "Saving Private Ryan" motion picture, which wanted to transport us into the very heart of the horrors of WWII. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault did a great job in emulating that experience and transmorphing it into the Action/FPS genre of PC gaming. The key words here are realism, integrity, and quality. The game's quality and integrity enchance its realism, making this game, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, a classic, realistic FPS for the PC.
Rating: Summary: Dream come true Review: I am a WWII buff and I've always wished a game would come out to simulate WWII action; a game with very good AI, good graphics, and just everything to make a real WWII style experience. And here my dream has come true. I didn't want to get Return to Castle Wolfenstein because I'm not really into the sort of game were you're on your own against a bunch of enemy people/aliens/zombies/other I like games with teams of real men in battle against each others. MOHAA looks like so much fun and exitment, yet difficult and historicaly accurate. It seems to me like you'll be using a lot of tactics to confront the germans because of their cunning AI. There will always be unexpected twists and turns in each mission, like if you're meant to destroy a german tank then on the way you might come across a group of US sodiers pinned down by some nazis and have to rescue them on your way. I am really looking forward to later this month when this game comes out, and I'm definitly going to buy it, and I recommend it even if you aren't into WWII.
Rating: Summary: AMAZING GAME! Review: This game is excellent! Supurb graphics and AI. Oh yes, and for those of you you think it runs "slow", get a REAL computer and it will run just fine. MEDAL OF HONOR puts Return to Castle Wolfenstein to SHAME!
Rating: Summary: Finally, a WWII game with realism! Review: This is the best WWII first person shooter I have ever played. It provides an authentic experience. . . . real sneaking, peaking, and shooting against superb AI - a complete adrenaline rush. The detail is equally impressive (down to the individual combat patches) Suggest that you play the game/demo with the music turned off to get the full effect. It did take a while to load; however, once loaded it met every expectation. Hope the actual game loads faster. I agree with Andrew from Illinois!
