Rating: Summary: CHECK YOUR VIDEO CHIPSET BEFORE YOU BUY IT! Review: After I got really bored with CS, I decided to try MOH. So bad I didn't order it from amazon, or I still have a slim chance to return it. I do like Amazon customer service. :-DThe System Requirement on Amazon is an incomplete one. There is Minimum Requirement on Chipset, only supporting Nvidia, ATI and PowerVR3. As to other chipset,s you have to take the risk. I am the unlucky one, it doesn't support Voodoo series using VSA. Remember: no place will accept opened computer game. Don't bother to confirm this Minimum Requirement on MOH official site. I didn't find it. The only two places I found are bottom of the retail package, and install guide INSIDE the box.
Rating: Summary: YUCK! Review: This game was terrible. Friendly AI's were dumb and just kept dying. Enemy AI's could shoot you a mile away through a wall, just a pathetic game. Graphics were terrible! Absolutely digusting graphics. Missions almost pointless...This game was a uter failure and i hope EA will make better then this in the future. If you like the half-life mod: Day of Defeat, this game makes a mockery of it...
Rating: Summary: Stop reading reviews & BUY THIS GAME !!! :-) Review: It may be a game but once you are in the June 6th mission.... Amazing game. Better have a high end computer to run this. This will be THE GAME of the '00 decade by which all others are measured
Rating: Summary: best first person shooter ever Review: Buy this game simply to storm the beach at normandy. It's the most realistic war scene I've ever experienced, staright out of Saving Private Ryan (although lack of blood is a bit dissapointing.) Soldiers get blown ski high right next to you, some sit down and cry, some pray to god, I even saw one of them throw up. The AI in this game unbelievable. Sometimes I would just stop and listen to the Nazis having conversations in the next house over. It's eerily well done. The enemy is far smarter than in any other game. They don't so much as duck out from around the corner to shoot you, they will actually stick just their gun around a wall and take pot shots at you. But that's where banking grenades off walls comes in handy. (During one mission I threw a grenade into a garage that housed a group Nazis and one of them threw himself on it to save him comrades) The snipers are almost impossible to find and when you do, it's the most gratifying personal victory you'll experience. Performing missions with other AI soldiers is also a great Pro to the game, they cover your back and help you out, and when they get plugged it almost makes you want to scream, MEDIC!!!!! COME ON !! ! STAY WITH ME!!!! Alas, the missions are incredibly hard and I found myself a bit frustrated at times. Lack of a good ending also was dissapointing, but like I said, it's all worth it just to storm the beach at Normandy. A+

Rating: Summary: Fantastic gaming experience....... Review: Forget any critical reviewers who may have given this game anything less that 5 stars..... MoHAA provides unparalleled gaming experience. Fantastic graphics and sound, superb locales and missions, and tough AI makes for an unforgettable experience. Anyone who even remotely enjoys FPS - don't waste your time reading this - go out and buy this game and start playing. For hard core FPS fans - this game is paradise. Please also check out the other equally fantastic game released at about the same time - "Return to CAstle Wolfenstien". In fact, you *must* buy both games together to experience true WWII FPS gaming bliss ! Phenomenal .......!!
Rating: Summary: Nice graphics, terrible gameplay Review: MOHAA is a game that is ideally suited for the person who gives no regard for even the slightest bit of realism and decent storyline. Essentially, this game is a slowed down Quake with Germans and Allies instead of Marines and monsters.... I knew this was not going to be a Ghost Recon, Operation: Flashpoint, or World War II Online, but its pathetic, and made me remember why I gave up console games so long ago. Not even a hint of realism here. MOHAA makes me think of the movie Kellys Heroes where the Americans march right through German lines and single handedly kill hundreds of soldiers, only this isnt even comparable to the movie because its so bad! OK, the game's graphics are really nice. Not on the scale of Ghost Recon, but still nice. Maybe if the soldiers weren't so dumb and you at least had a little control over them it would be slightly better, but you don't. I really cannot recommend this game to anyone except hard-core teenage Quake players. I bet it will sell a ton, because the gaming community has very low standards for success at the moment. Ill stick with Ghost Recon, Flashpoint, and WWIIOL for now. Hopefully you will check those out if you want good, fun, realistic games.
Rating: Summary: Be a heroic WWII soldier Review: An earlier review indicated this game was as mindless as Quake III or Unreal Tournament. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is not an ultra-realistic representation of World War II, but there is much more to it than running around shooting everything in sight. The weapons are realistic enough that you will not be able to mow down roomfuls of enemy soldiers with ease. Controlled bursts and maintaining cover are important to surviving each mission. There is almost always a soldier hiding or otherwise out of your sight waiting for you to become courageous and sprint out into the open. Enemy soldiers don't always come at you from the front, sometimes they surprise you from behind. And don't get me started about the snipers. The missions are anything but boring. No mission is like any other. They each have specific objectives, and with the slide-show briefings prior to each one, you feel like you are participating in missions critical to the Allies' war effort. MOHAA is designed to carry you as a single soldier through several exciting and dangerous missions, often with men dying all around you, and those that survive to travel with you not lasting much longer. It is not a super-realistic representation of WWII combat and tactics, but it does a fine job of creating a war-like atmosphere and placing you in the role of a WWII hero. I recommend Medal of Honor: Allied Assault to anyone that enjoys FPS games and considers the story and presentation just as important as the action.
Rating: Summary: The best Review: Quite simply the best shooter game I have ever played. This is the only one I keep going back and playing over and over again. I can't wait to see what the add-on packages are going to be. If you like 1st person shooters, you NEED this game.
Rating: Summary: I love this game Review: MOHAA is my favorite game. I got both the multiplayer and the singleplayer demos, which didnt impress me much, but then i got the game! It is soo awesome. You can drive a tank, and blow buildings away, you can shoot at nazi planes from the top of a speeding jeep you have to rescue lots of people and stuf. The maps are incredible the detail is extreeemly lifelike, the bushes sway in the wind, the people that get shot get flng back and have to re aim, the sun makes that glare effect and isnt just a big yellow ball, its just like the real sun! The codes are fun to use, but dont get carried away. The game is soo much more fun without the codes. in one mission you dress up like a german officer and blow up a submarine, it is soo fun. the multiplayer is AWESOME there are 11 huge maps with tons of sniper places and churches and steeples to snipe from. There is one that is a [bad] place, its out doors at night in the winter in a park, al the trees sway, and it looks cool but withe 56K it is slow. I got DSL and 1.8Ghtz and the game runs very fast. I highly recomend this game even if it costs [money]. I bought it 4 weeks ago and i'm still playing it regularly and regularly finding new hidout places and things. There is one level where you are in D day. it is so fun but takes a few times to find out how to winn (or it did for me) I am actually a 14 yr old i just dont want to sign up just to give a review
