Summary: Keeps me busy
Review: This is the first Mechwarrior game I've bought... ever. So I don't have anything to compare this to.
To say the least, it's a VERY fun game. Kind of straightforward though, and not much to each of the missions. You just choose your mission, and go blow stuff up. They usuallly don't take any more than 10 minutes a piece, which can be nice, but it would also be nice to be able to do a long, drug out mission from time to time where it involves more then just blowing stuff up.
The sounds are awesome and the Mech graphics are great, but the terrain maps [stinks]. 2-D sprite trees, people, bushes, etc... That is the one thing that I cannot stand about this game is the NICE quality graphics of the mechs meshed with the not-so-good looking graphics of the backgrounds. Oh well, it doesn't take away from the gameplay.
As a final note, I'd say if you're a veteran fan of Mechwarrior, don't buy this game, as you will probably be disappointed. BUT if you're a first-timer like me, you'll have quite a bit of fun with it!

Summary: This game is okay.
Review: This one is even better than black knight and graphic has improve even better than before. The storyline for this game along is okay but I still like the Vengeance one better. Well, there storyline is completely different though. There's several things I don't like about Mercenaries is the multiplayer. On the multiplayer you can't play any multiplayer maps from your previous MW4 Vengeance, Black Knight nor Mech Pak. All you can play was the new one they have for you. Not even the map from Mech Pak "Gagetown". Beside the colosseum and factory, it doesn't count because even you don't have Mech Pak you'll still have these two maps from Mercenaries anyway. Also on multiplayer you can't really limited each how many life they have for the game either. I mean you only could make how many mech got kill in the game then the game over but what I am saying is you can't limit players lifes to play the game. Like a tournament for example each player have a limit for their life or even just one life. If the player die then this player to have to wait for next game and the last one standing is the champion of the game. Well, I use to be able to play like this from my previous MW4. Not from this one. I know that didn't bother people very much though because I know most people who plays this game do not care about life limit on the fight at all but personally for me this is really bothering me a lot especially when it wasn't even compatible with the old maps. This game would be the best game of any other game if only they don't have any of those problem I just refer.
