Rating: Summary: HALO IS THE GAME OF ALL TIME Review: Before I even thought about getting an Xbox, 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound system and a T.V., I played a game called Halo. When I first played I thought to myself man this IS in fact awesome so I then bought an XBox, Halo and a 5.1 Surround Sound system. I bought the sound system just for Halo! The only and I mean only, downside to Halo (when it came out for XBox) at the time XBox Live was not out yet. So therefore it wasn't that great. BUT that doesn't mean the rest of the game can't make up for it. It is the game of the century in my opinion. Now, Halo for PC is going to fufill that missing feature in Halo for XBox. THE MULTIPLAYER MODE. It'll be very awesome to see about 32 Master Chiefs going at it in ONE LEVEL. Personally and quite frankly, I cannot wait to feast my eyes on such a masterpiece.
Rating: Summary: Best X-Box shooter coming to PC! Review: I have played this game ... and it was one of the best shooting game I have ever played. At first when I played it I was sucked into the game so badly... So I was thinking about playing it, but how can I play it if I didn't have Halo or X-Box! ... Finally, I found out that Halo was coming to PC!!! I was very happy. Only worry was that if I have the system requirments. I'll just have to wait for the requirments(I have Intel Celeron 2.5, 1025 RAM, 128MB GeForce 4 ti 4600, 56x CD-ROM, some Blaster 2 sound card, and 60GB hard drive). Anyway, the game has lots of cool vehicles to drive and if you do co-op mode you can even shoot while your friend is driving. It has retarded looking aliens and it has few good guns. My favorite gun is the Assault Rifle (I'm not sure what it's called. It's the gun they give you from the start if you even played it). Also it's not that difficult or that easy. If you play the X-Box version, you can't control the shooting that good. So it will be much easier on PC with the mouse control. This game is very addictive, almost as addictive as Counter Strike. The most thing I'm excited about the PC port version of Halo is the multiplayer mode! In X-Box you can do the co-op mode but only up to 4 people and it's not against each other, you just help each other to finish the game. But the PC version will have co-op mode and THE MULTIPLAYER MODE which will have maximum 16 versus 16 people ONLINE! I gaurantee that this game will worth the price of admission and you will like than any other shooting game for PC (maybe except for Counter Strike, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, and Call of Duty that will come out sometime in September). I also hope that Halo 2 for X-Box come out for PC.

Rating: Summary: Easily one of the best first person shooters of our time Review: It's the summer of 2001. I get an Xbox. I immediately rent 007 AUF and SSX Tricky. I kept seeing awsome reviews for Halo, but it seemed too good to be true and I didn't really care for the commercials. I beat 007 and I look at the back of the Halo box at blockbuster. I decided, "what the heck, maybe it isn't as stupid as it looks." The menu screen was a turn-off at first. The music was starting to annoy me, too. The intro was pretty cool though. I had a very hard time with the controls, but it really is the best way to play FPSs so its best to just stick with it. I thought going around shooting little red guys and an occasional blue dude was pretty stupid. I stil stayed with it. By the end of the second level, Halo was starting to warm up on me. The fourth level pretty much got me hooked. I loved the battle on the beach! After that I became just another Halo lover. It was and is my favorite game mostly because i'd never played anything like it! The story was absolutly amazing, and the book added to the game alot. The graphics and sound were definately revolutionary in its time but I still gasp as the sun filters through the trees. The multiplayer is awsome, but once you beat the single player campaign its good but not as good as the campaign. There are lots of game modes, and you can make your own. Like Goldeneye? How about Slayer, Pistols, no shields, 25% health. Just like the golden gun. There will probably be LOTS of good mods and maps .etc after this ships. And a split-screen Co-Op mode is going to be added in an offical mod or patch. Not to mention a flame thrower, fuel rod gun, rocket-launching Warthog, the Shade stationary gun, and the banshee will all be added to the multiplayer goodness! Time for the down-side of the game: -No Xbox Live support, but you can still game online via XBConnect/Gamespy Tunnel. -The game runs at 30 FPS when 60 is the Xbox norm. It can get a little choppy sometimes but this can easily be overlooked. You probably won't have to worry about this in the PC/Mac Version. -The pistol is unbelievably good. You can drop someone from short to long range in 3 shots. Cheap! -There is some redundancy in the levels, but your going back the way you came and it is mixed up a bit with short-cuts and vehicles. This is probably the worst part of the game. Still pretty easily overlooked. Buy this for your PC/Mac/Xbox and if you don't like it at first STICK WITH IT! You'll be doing yourself a favor.
Rating: Summary: Dont Buy! Review: This game is not for the advarge gamer. This game is for hardcore fans only, so if you like getting owned in fps this is the game for you. PS you still cant drive the wraith.
Rating: Summary: just... wow Review: I played this at E3 and the graphics were stunning. I can't believe how they can make such a successful xbox game to the pc and not make it worse, and possibly make it better!! I can't believe it... it's just... WOW!
Rating: Summary: kodos Review: halo pc is exactly the same as halo except for the mutliplayer. You can drive the banshee in multiplayer (I dont know if it will have the fuel rod cannon) a rocket launcher warthog, and get in the gun turret the covenent shade. There is also two new weapons only available in multiplayer, a flame thrower which will be awesome and a fuel rod cannon, which is the hunters weapon, a sort of grenade launcher. these additions plus more maps and the fact that u can customize which weapons will appear where instead of just weapon sets.

Rating: Summary: The Only Game You'll Ever Need Review: Halo is all around the best game ever. The backround and the sound is amazing, and the graphics are the best I have ever seen in a console-game. The controls are easy to get used to and the gameplay is unbeattable. After that first minute of Halo you're stuck. When you sleep the only thing running through your head is halo, halo, halo. All the action, the strategy, the fun is all just too good to be true. The game is built for everyone. If you're a gun-hoe soldier, halo allows you to blast your way through. If your more a silent, one-shot one kill, hit and run type player (like me) then halo is built for your needs. The best part about Halo is that it is the first good game i've seen with co-operative gameplay. Co-op is loads of fun, and is the main reason why i love halo so much. This game is filled with action horror and suspense and I garantee its the best game or you can shot me.
Rating: Summary: Halo: The finest video game of all time. Review: I had heard the buzz about Halo for the Xbox for a while but never really investigated the game until I played it at a friend's house. The next day I bought an Xbox and Halo and have been hooked ever since. As with the legendary game Half Life, it is the story as well as the game play that makes Halo great. I found the characters in the game to be very well developed, the weaponry outstanding and the voice acting, especially by Jen Taylor (Cortana) and the Marines that fight along side you to be exceptionally well done. Halo is loosely based off of several Sci-Fi movies from Aliens to Star Wars. The story begins at Reach, one of the worlds that humans have colonized. Reach is suddenly attacked by the covenant and your ship is forced to make a blind jump to lure your enemies away from Reach so that they do not discover the location of Earth. Your ship arrives at Halo but the covenant has somehow tracked you and follow closely behind. The covenant armada attacks your ship and you are forced to crash land on Halo, an ancient and mysterious ring world where the covenant horde attacks you at every turn. The covenant is made up of several alien races who find humans to be an affront to their gods. Their blind devotion to these gods has incited their leaders to declare a holy war against humanity with the ultimate goal of killing every human being. After several breathtaking missions and just when you think you have the covenant on the run, a new, more vicious foe appears. The Flood as they are known, are nothing more than human and covenant soldiers who have been infected by a mysterious disease that has but one purpose, to infect the entire galaxy. In an attempt to stop the Flood, the main character of Halo, the Master Chief attempts to activate Halo's weapon systems but his AI sidekick Cortana discovers the horrifying truth about Halo's true purpose. Halo is quite simply the finest video game ever made. The story behind the game is phenomenal, the characters in this game range from the Master Chief, an experimental warrior with cybernetic enhancements to Cortana, his AI partner to the comic relief of the covenant foot soldiers known as grunts. The maps in this game are incredible with realistic natural effects that are stunning to behold. All of these elements are welded together to form the best video game experience of all time.
