Summary: This....this game is my kind of game!
Review: Back...back on January 1rst, when I first saw half-life,
I half to admit one of the best sci-fi games of all time!
You are gordon freeman, a scientist, working at a decommsioned
military secret facility where scientists and security gaurds
blend with technology in the year 2000, which was not thought
possible, One day when scientist in the "anomolous materials
laboratory" where conducting a dangerous but pure and rare
specimen to a test chamber, filled with laser beam like technology, but the scientist went to far,plus they opened up
a worm hole between a border world believed to be called "xen."
After the disatirous experiment, aliens are killing everyone and
tearring apart the facility, while expolisions ensure and affect
the place, the goverment finds out and comes for you and kills
anything in sight, including you! Enough is scrambling to stay
alive for you when so much is about to happen! The graphics back
then in this game were impresssive, the sound is above average
from my opinion back then, the music is great, and basically, I
played the game for 2 years! I have to admit, this is a Execellent worth while game, yet today things have changed!ps. I
would recommend customers to buy this game!

Summary: The best out there
Review: When i bought this game i thought it would end up in my pile of trash boy was i wrong. This game couldn't be better except the graphics but other wise the game kicked...from the storyline to levels. If i had to pick the worst part it would be the start waiting in a stupid train and and having to listen to the lady on the pa yap and yap about ponitless things and then ya have to wait get your suit and listen to more yap it drove me nuts. But when the yaping is done the fun begins from goneing to distant planets to facing a team of millitary specialist you cant count the endless hours of gameplay. Then there is the complex thinking that is a little anonnying, i like to hack away at my enemies and do nearly no thinking. But this game i don't mind doing a little thinking to play such a great game...

Review: Mainly, I thought this game rocked. It had supreme graphics, storyline (though the end was kind of wack), the weapons were decent and not to powerful, you had to deal with all kinds of environments, and it had actual difficulties other than fighting! You have to be good at it in order to figure out how to throw the crate just right to be able to jump on top of it and get into the ventilation holes... Of course, if you aren't good at FPSs I don't advise it. ... For it's time, this game rocked and deserved the full five stars. ...This game may be old, but it's still fun. Be warned that it is outdated, though, so it's not going to be the best of graphics, etc. But it IS very fun

Summary: The Best First-Person Shooter for PC
Review: Half-Life is the est first person shooter game for PC. It has a strong story with strong fighting. The gun selection is good and the graphics are pretty good. And your gun better be loaded because the AI enemy will attack at anytime, anywhere. You take control of a scientist charged with destroying the alien invasion, and got the honors of govenment expiremints gone wrong. As you gothrough level after level of the increasingly diffitcult(and creepy) missions, you go and rescue your fellow scientists. The game play itself is very smooth. It is a very great game and it is defenitly worth your time and money to play Half-Life. My ratings 1-10, 10 the best:

Summary: More than that...
Review: I had heard alot of praise for Half-Life, but not being much of a fan of FPS, I never paid much attention. But, after a while, I finally borrowed it from a friend. And was blown away... The story is simple. You take the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist at the Black Mesa Compound. You're involved in some pretty heavy experiments, when one goes wrong. Pretty soon you find yourself weilding shotguns, pistols, (crowbars), and even alien weapons battling your way through legions of alien soldiers, and even US Marines, who want you dead. All the way to the final battle with this creature who would've given Kefka a run for his money (Final Fantasy VI)! The graphics aren't the best, but they don't need to be. Gameplay, and replayability more than makes up for it. When I finally beat Nihilanth (I think that's how it's spelled) I took a deep breath, and journeyed here to see what others have said about this truly wonderful game. And I agree. Half-Life deserves way more than five measly stars. In my opinion, from a company that hasn't released a good game since King's Quest, Sierra and Valve have done a good, nay, a great job. can you say...sequel...
