Summary: A Different Type Of Game
Review: When I first read about this game online, I was stunned at all of the good reviews it recieved. So I bought it to see for myself, and boy was I blown away. There are so many incredible things in this game that other adventure games don't have. It combines an epic storyline and unforgettable characters with beautiful animation directly from ancient aztec mythology. The reason it seems to deliver on so many levels is that it is like nothing I have ever seen before! If you are a fan of the film noire genre, enjoy adventure games like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island, or are just looking for something new then check this out. I guarentee that you'll like this.

Summary: Just A Lot Of Fun
Review: This is a game that just keeps on giving. The plot is as old as time and is played with much humor. The music is great and is an additional bonus while playing the game (I as a matter of fact purchased the music CD). The characters are well rounded with each character having his/her very own particular personality. If you like fun while playing a game then this game is for you!!!

Review: This game is totally awesome. Don't be mad at me if you don't like it (which I highly doubt), but this is a game for everybody. I am an RPG fan, but this game is also packed with comedy, and, believe it or not, I found it pretty moving too (believe it or not.) I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Glottis is the best. Anyway, this game is fun but can be very tricky-and sometimes too trycky-things you wouldn't think of. Buy this game.

Summary: For Sale: One Golden Nugget For Just $...!
Review: This adventure is almost the perfect game. I find it at least the best adventure around (the two year newer Monkey Island 4 can't even beat it!) and probably it's one of the best games ever made. Nearly everything's perfect in this game; the beautiful graphics and art-work, the superb voice-acting, the cool jazzy music, and most important; the stoyline. If this game would be a movie it would be a very succesful one. The personalities of the characters are done very well. You'll really feel sorry for Manny (the skeleton travelagent) and when Glottis, his 10 ft high demondriver (with little wiggling ears!) litteraly rips his own heart out because he got fired you'll even be brought to tears. No game has ever gripped me like this one. There is only one little flaw; it's pretty short (finished it in about 5 days) but I didn't feel sorry I spent ... bucks back then on it because it was my best gamingexperience ever! And now it's only ...! So... it seems clear to me what to do...

Summary: Fantastic value for your money!
Review: This game blew me away, not only with its innovative graphics but its intricate and challenging puzzles. The story made me cry and laugh and drool (over the incredible cutscenes... but some nudity is exposed--they're skeletons!). I love the adventure games genre and have most probably tried most of them. Originally more of a Sierra fan but now a Lucasarts convert, this game made me see just how GREAT an adventure game can be. You'd definitely be spoiled by the gorgeous scenes, the immersive cutscenes and perfectly suited voice acting. Grim Fandango actually made skeletons seem sexy or threatening (no small feat for faces with polygons for eyes and eyebrows). The interface took a while to get used to but it simplified the often cluttered inventories of typical adventure games by using a head-turning-when-there's-something-important concept. There actually ISN'T an extra inventory window. Instead you get to see a close-up view of Manny's chest...ooh. Everything that I've been so USED to in other adventure games got completely revamped for this game. I loved the simpler interface and how it made the plot flow smoother as you never have to worry about the interface getting in the way. And for ..., this is a bargain. So try it out and I'm sure you'll be blown away!

Summary: this game made me laugh so much! It rocks!
Review: First off let me say I love puzzle games but cant do them beacuse i am not smart enough for them i guess but this one was so much fun i had a blast. The dialog was great the anamation was super. What they said to each other during the game was so funny.the puzzles are great. I'm not talking about the kind of puzzle where you are stuck looking at a board and trying to solve it but you are walking around talking to people to try to solve it. And if you get stuck just chat with others not about the puzzle and you get a great laugh (the strip search was the best) and the cat races? well lets just say i recomend this for a good laugh! It rocks!

Summary: Incredible value! Tons of fun!
Review: This is one of the funnest computer games of any kind I have ever played. I am about halfway through it, and the story is intriguing and imaginatively done. Even if you get stuck on some of the puzzles, you can still wander around and have fun while you are mulling it over. The characters are a lot of fun, and I love the graphics in this. So far, it seems like you can't die (your progress is just slower if you make the wrong decisions), so you also don't have to worry about saving your place before you try something "risky." (My husband calls that "invoking the spell of many saves.")The puzzles have a nice variety in difficulty, and this game is unique in seeming old-fashioned while at the same time being like nothing else you've ever played. In short, this is a fantastic game at a great price. Just buy it!!

Summary: One of the Last Good LucasArts Games
Review: You are in luck; 10 bucks for this great game. To be honest, I really don't like this genre but I have played the demo, seen the promos and talked to people who have played the whole game. My conclusion is that besides X-Wing Alliance, this was one of the last expertly programmed and designed games to come out of the LucasArts workshop. Pretty much everything after this release stinks to high heaven. So go buy it already!

Review: This is the best effort that Lucas Arts has produced to date. They finally use 3d graphics and the story and plot are highly enjoyable. If you are a fan of LucasArts Adventures, this is definately one for the collection
