Rating: Summary: GrandTheftAuto!in PC Review: Its almost the same exact thing as PS2 (Exept graphics r bad). The aspect of the thing is..If u dont have PS2 then hopefully you have a P.C
Rating: Summary: Best Computer Game Ever Review: I've been playing games for 20 years (and for rather too much of the time too) and this is the best I've ever played. The amazing thing about this game is that it's more than a game, it's a cultral experience. The game aspects are great, graphics, physics and so one. However the retro 80s setting with every detail is amazing, the hours and hours of music fit perfectly, the freedom within the world is very complete and the way you're guided in the story is subtle, you don't feel like you lose control of what's happening. What sticks out is a sense of style and sophicated humor that are ever present. Like a truely great book or film, I was sad when I finished it. Lastly, obviously it's violent etc, it's not even worth mentioning really. If that's going to offend you then don't play it, but don't play it and then whine here. Or maybe I should say buy it and never play it, because I hope the guys at Rockstar mint it on this one, they deserve it and they need the funds for the next installment because it's gonna be an almighty task to try and beat this. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Pretty entertaining. Review: I originally gave this game a negative review, because I never gave it a chance. But now that I've gotten a little older i've come to appreciate it. It is very entertaining...nothing is more entertaining than shooting down cops. But that's not really the best part about it. It is just hands down a all-around entertaining game. I haven't really tried the missions yet though...so I cant be sure if those are good or not...but from what I've seen they look pretty fun.
Rating: Summary: Awesome **** Best yet **** Review: This game KICKS!!!! Its cool although the game is kinda short you are givin numerouse side missions witch make it up. The bikes could be better seeing how you fall off very easily but overall this game rules. Its always fun to pick up a gun and blow a dudes head off. (on video games) This game has it all. tons of weapons and tons of vehicles. This has to be one of the best games out.But altouhg this game rules it still has its flaus. The game is kinda glitchy. and the dude looks a bit fruity when he runs. But like i said this game is worth checking out. i would give thumbs up to anybody who asked.
Rating: Summary: Totally Excellent Review: I would advise anyone out there to go and purchase this game immediatly. Not only is the game play amazing, but the conversion from PS2 to PC was done much better that it was done with GTA3. I love this game, and that is odd considering I never play video games. But this one has truly captivated me.
Rating: Summary: Incredible fun Review: This game is a much needed breath of fresh air. It's incredibly fun, and like Grand Theft Auto 3, it's very easy to pick up and play. You can easily play this game for hours on end, but you don't hours to be able to play. From the moment you start, it's seamless to start doing your thing and simply have fun. The missions are quite fun. They're better than before, cooler, and just plain entertaining. I thought not being the nameless thug would be annoying, but it's better than ever. The story is perfect for a game of this type, and the game's atmosphere is flawless. Don't be surprised if you find a love for 80's music after playing this game. The only downsides are like GTA3, there's bugs left in that really should have been taken care of. Also, it's rather obvious it's a PS2 port as the game's memory is rather short. You can clearly see a car coming, turn around so it's out of sight, and poof... gone. "Out of sight, out of mind." And like GTA3, after awhile the fun might wear thin and things may get repetitive depending on your tastes.
Rating: Summary: What a game... Review: Car crashes, continuous car explosions, shooting helicoptors that ignite, sunts--this is GTA: Vice City and so much more. The two cities that are present are more than detailed---you've got the downtown, where later on, if you want to create your own stunt 30 stories off an office building, that's your decision. The missions created in this game are very entertaining, and they do keep on getting more exciting. Getting the freedom of buying your own buildings to save your game, to be able to continue the missions, and to get profits off of is something that I have never expected in any game. This game has it all. You can go to the beach, create some stunts in the stadium, go to the dirtbike path, ride a boat throughout Vice City's river, even go to the mall....there are so many things in this game that it will never bore you!! I have to admit it, though. I honestly believe that Vice City is greater than any other game I've played. Hop on a PCG 600 moto bike, speed down the boulevard, dashing through the wind. There's also nothing like going 120 feet up into the lighthouse, seeing the tremendously detailed sunset on the water. Without the option of going into other vehicles relentlessly, this game wouldn't be as good as it is now! In GTA 3 there was a lot of slow down and things didn't move realistically. In GTA: Vice City, it's nothing like that. Everthing is smooth! Fast-paced! I'll tell you why. When I had GTA 3 with a 32 bit graphic card it was slow....Right now I have a Geforce 2, tested that graphic card on GTA 3 again, it was still slow.... So to be honest with you, a Geforce 2 400 is good for Vice City...that's what I've got. The missions, of course, are phenomenal. The way Rockstar Games came up with the ideas to make such unique and eye-popping missions is beyond my comprehension. Voice talents are like typical actors in the movies; just excellent. If, for some reason you get bored of the missions, try the submissions. You won't believe how much money you make after 20 sub-mission levels. You can be a firefighter, police officer, taxi cab driver, anything that interests you. This game just has it all. You can do everything! Go to the golf course a drive a golf cart into a bunker! One thing YOU WILL get tired of, though, is driving around endlessly around Vice City! But, then we'll just fly the airplane or the helicoptor.. Non-stop entertainment!!!
Rating: Summary: Great game marred by video gaming censorship. Review: GTA: Vice City is perhaps one of the rare gems to prove that video gaming deserves it's spot in mature entertainment. The stereotype that video-gaming's audience comprise masses of soda-chip laden angsty teenagers is quickly dispelled. You have 7 CDs worth of hit 80s music to die for, an A-class list of voice-actors...yeah, yeah Ray Liotta and Burt Reynolds (can we have Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in next GTA? =D), storyline typical of R-rated mob movies drenched in Miami Vice setting. Hell, this game even has it's own porn studio and strip clubs! Don't call this a video game either; it's an interactive movie in it's own respect. Ride a bike, ride a muscle sports car and take missions for cash (too bad no yeyo) or choose from doing real-life activities forbidden in real-life - rob stores, toying with cops or doing stunts. GTA 3 was ridiculous simply because it doesn't have bikes and having dirt bikes like Sanchez and japanese-brand sprint bikes like PCGs completes the game's surreal experience. The only dissapointment is the censorship that in the end, still feels like a typical angsty teenager's slugfest (although it isn't). The script sounds so tame just because F-words aren't allowed, it's laughable like Scarface's TV version. When making out with a prostitute, you can't see the actual thing when using topless cars! Secondly, cops don't do jack when you speed (which is illogical) and last but not least, controls of helicopters and RC vehicles are awkwardly terrible. I'm sure with improvements, the game will totally rock when it comes to fifth installment. Overall, GTA: VC is a must buy for mob-move fans, 80s music freak and all mature gamers.
Rating: Summary: A superb PC game... Review: If you liked GTA3, you will love Vice City. Instead of being a revolutionary game (as some claim), Vice City is more of an evolution from GTA3. The theme is basically the same, only more vehicles and missions are involved and the scenery is more interactive. Sure, the game is undoubtedly violent, but it is fun nonetheless. Pick up a copy of this game, you will enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: Great but not as good Review: I played Grand Theft Auto III without a clue about the game, and I was blown away. I was completely addicted to it. I loved all the mafia missions, the do-what-ever-you-want style game play. The thing that was good about it was the gangs. You could have gang fights against what gang you didn't like. The thing with Vice City is, that there is barely any gangs and I was already used to the game play style, so I thought. There is so much more to do in Vice City than you can imagine. Pizza Delivery, helicopters, motorcycles, and ofcourse the ever so popular rampages. The plot is that you are sent to to Vice City for a cocaine deal that gets messed up and you try to find the guy who messed it up. When you finnally do,(very early in the game) you start to take over the city, and buy property, which gives you more missions, and money. The land is twice as big as Liberty City, but more organized so it's easier to get around and It doesn't feel as big. The thing I have to say is that Vice City is one of those games you never get tired of playing because the posibilites are endless. The only reason why the rating isn't a perfect 5 stars is that people are just to picky when it comes to games, and don't rely on the game play. I say Vice City is great, but I enjoyed GTA III better because I played it first. Still Vice City is a great game, and I cant wait until GTA IV comes out.
