Rating: Summary: Revolutionary Review: Go ahead, say what you like... it's too much like GTA III, it's too violent, etc. Take2 and Rockstar Games have revolutionized video games and set a new standard for developers with the Grand Theft Auto series. This game brings to the table a completely immersive environment (you get a map the size of a poster to help you get around) while you play either a linear or non-linear game. The weapons are improved from GTA III, the environments include more indoors and multi-story buildings, and of course you can now drive motorcycles and speedboats. Nothing like squeezing between bi-directional rush hour traffic on a speed bike doing 80mph.GTA Vice City is three or four games in one. Drive around in who knows how many vehicles and it's a pretty neat driving game. Jump in an ambulance or police car to perform missions and it's a Crazy Taxi. Run around beating the living daylights out of people for fun and to get money and it's State of Emergency. Or, play the missions and it's all four wrapped in to one incredible game.
Rating: Summary: GTA strikes again Review: I will assure you that if GTA three was Good, this will be better. This game takes you back to the seventies, where you could ride diffirent motor bikes and a scooter. The missions are Satisfactory, but not as I expected them to be. It is worth buying. Graphix are much better and alot of errors in GTA 3 are now fixed. Not only could you purchase shelter, but also fix cars for free, as well as enjoy the beach alongside with a prostitute.
Rating: Summary: It's beyond FUUUUN Review: his game is great, I just got it last night, and it's the most fun PC game I have plaed in a while. The graphics are much better then they are for PS2.If you like GTA 3, I garantee that you will love this game.
Rating: Summary: Great gameplay Review: I've played the PS2 version, and the concept of gameplay is eatraordinary! What most games lack is the expansive, open-edned gameplay that Vice City has to offer. It's great that players aren't restricted to play only the missions... I think that driving and stunts are one of the most exhilerating aspects of the game. When it comes to the police AI being smarter, it has its pros and cons; it's great that you don't see the police acting senseless (GTA2 players will know what I speak of), but at the same time I hate it when they shoot out my back tires or use spike strips. Either way, the game is non-stop fun! I would love to see multiplayer LAN support be implemented in the future (since serial might be KINDA slow for this graphics-intensive of a game)!
Rating: Summary: how is it..... Review: I am very curious how this game has been available for a review, as i understand it there are still three weeks till this title is released.Even on the games homepage and the links it leads to,not one have a 'scoop' on how it plays,i understand that demand for this game will be emense,i myself will be buying it,not from yourselves but from someone who at least can be honest about the advertisements and their reviews. 'to third parties or objectionable 'this is quoted in the conditions of use,out of curiousity, does this mean if someone give a bad review of a game, that this will not be posted?
Rating: Summary: Grounbreaking Review: GTA 3 and Vive City are incredible, grounbreaking games. There are some pretty active imaginations that review these games for both good and bad. I have not figured out how to have sex yet in the game (you can get a hooker to ride in your car and watch your money slowly drop but that's as exciting as it gets), and you can't really "hack someone into pieces" (you can cut an arm off but that's about it). In fact the cartoony violence of this game pales in comparison to other games (ie. Soldier of Fortune II etc...) Rockstar's attention to the little things and the amazing amount of detail put into their enormous game worlds is what make these games stand out and so much fun to play. Almost every vehicle can be operated - from motorcycles to Apache helicopters. You can fly and land anywhere in the city. You can steal a scooter and pop wheelies and do nose rides while running from the FBI. Cops throw spike strips at your tires. You can jump out of moving cars. You can do almost anything. And that's not even the scripted game! The missions are creative and well put together. The voices are done by real actors. Tons of fun. When my little brother got Vice City for his playstation we made my father (a public school principal) play it and he could barely see through his tears of laughter. This game is the most comical, creative, and easily playable game ever created. You owe it to yourself to experience Vice City.
Rating: Summary: Same old same old Review: It's pretty much the same as Grand Theft Auto 3. Then again, that's not really a bad thing, I suppose. The most notable new features include an 80's theme, tire damage, motorbikes, smarter police, and a few new interesting weapons. It's a good game, but if you've played GTA3 don't expect anything revolutionary.
Rating: Summary: I hope They spruce this game up Review: Finally the much anticipated Vice City for computer, all i can say though is that i hope graphics are way better then the ps2 version... I found ps2 versions graphics plain and not very impressive, wow i tell ya theres nothing funner then catwalking on a street bike shooting people on the side walk... This has to be the best game out, honestly and with the PC version you can use your own music so u dont need to listen to all that micheal jackson ... HAHAHA to all the people who thought it wasnt coming out, if u bought a PS2 just for that game I feel sorry for u hahaha lol... Cant wait till its out im gonna go buy it
Rating: Summary: Rock5star minus one for dishonesty Review: ok, i love this game. clearly it deserves 5 stars for playability. however, i am penalizing rockstar by a star for not dispelling/perhaps even spreading the rumour that this was only coming out for PS2--I don't appreciate that at all even though I'm sure sony made a bundle of money selling PS2's just because of it...well, maybe instead of criticising them I should just buy stock...they are hot! Let's just hope that they can get the PC version out on time this time around.
