Summary: A waste!
Review: I don't know why Sierra really bother to repack Half-Life in yet ANOTHER version! What else are they going to do? A Halflife Pack with Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, and Action all in one? This is a waste! A waste of time and money, for Sierra and the consumers! I'm only talking about the product, Counter-Strike is actually not a bad mod, since about 90% of the Half-Life gaming community plays it, there is no room for other mods. This is bad for the people that are tired of Counterstrike and are looking for something new.Buying Half-Life by itself is cheaper, you can download Counterstrike for free anyway.

Summary: The Greatest, Most Addictive Game Ever
Review: In terms of multiplayer gaming, things just don't get any better. Unreal Tournament, one of the greatest games ever, offers the only competition. First of all, Counter-Strike is addictive. Maybe it's the slew of weapons at your disposal, all real-life models that real-life elite terrorist/counter-terrorist groups use. Maybe it's the intuitive maps that never grow old. Or maybe it's the fact that there's more than a dozen of them. Or maybe...hell, let me start from the top. First of all, if you're a multiplayer gamer and haven't ever played this game, do so. What's so different about Counter-Strike (CS) is that is is by far the most realistic first-person shooter on the market. The developers kept in mind weight and accuracy when they designed this game. Hold down the trigger longer when you fire, and you become less accurate. Run while shooting, and you'll be lucky to hit anything. Crouch and your aim improves. Each weapon has its own benefits and disadvantages. Locational damage means headshots count for one-shot kills. What I like about this game is the variation in skill. It's hard to get good at this game, and believe me, the learning curve is kinda steep. Beginners will get frustrated, but if the lure to keep playing sticks with them, they will get good fast. Teamplay in this game is crucial to winning. Radio chat messages enable you to communicate effectively with your team to accomplish mission objectives. If that fails, you can always type to your team. The game misses nothing. I recommend this game to ANYONE who enjoys a good time fragging. What elevates this game beyond the typical fragfest is the added teamplay, which--believe it or not--is crucial to winning.

Review: This game is really addictive. I've played Quake III, Unreal Tournament etc. and this is my favorite. The thing that makes the biggest difference is that it requires more thinking and tactics and more teamwork. ... Storm the front!

Review: This game may not have the best graphics or most compeling sound, but damn is it fun. When I first started playing I thought it was really challenging, but once I got into it I slowly became completely obsorbed with the game. This is a must have for any action game lover.
