Review: this is the best game ever made, the only game that has ever made me sit down, and never even THOUGHT about getting bored!, i play against friends on weekends (you can also chat during the game aswell) i recommend getting a cable modem, and you'll never ever have a problem.THE BEST!!!p.s. i ised to hate shooting games, but c-strike is so realistic that its so addictive and it rox!

Review: Well I can say That this is the most addicting game there is period. there will be better games for sure but this is the best in the whole world at the moment. that is if you have a high speed connection. Ohh by the way i have been playing for about 1.2 years now and i am so good that many people online call me a cheater cause they say i never miss. i have been banned from 12 servers for "cheating" o btw i do not cheat im just extremely good.

Review: CS is the funnest game I have erver played. I play it almost every day. It is very realistic. I meet all my friends there to play allmost every day. The kind of work im in I am barley ever at home this game allows me to hook up with my friends talk an have fun with each other even though im a thousand miles away from home there is no game that I have played in 21 years that compares to CS. If you like first person shooters or even if you dont like first person shooters CS is the game for you.

Review: Awesome game I mean what's better then walking then a city/boat/base/etc. w/ your M4A1 Colt Carbine/AK-47 It's all up to you carefully watching your every move Blasting the Enemies and destoring then you become the hero for that round. Also it is cool because there is 4 different map modes like as= Protecting the VIP until he reachs the waypoint/assassinate the IP, cs= Hostage Rescuing/Prevent CT's from Freeing Hostages, de=Plant/Defuse the Bomb, es=Prevent Terrorists to escape/escape without being killed by Counter-Terrorists Note: The first insructions were for Counter-Terrorists and the Second for The Terrorists. Also there are 5 different Caterogies of weapons Handgun, Shotgun, Sub-Machine Gun, Rifle and Machine Gun. There are 6 handguns H&K Tactcial USP, Glock 18, Desert Eagle, SIG, Dual Berreata and the Five seven. 2 Shotguns the Berenlia M1 and M3. 5 SMG's H&K MP5-navy, Steryl Tactical TMP, FN P90, Ingram MAC 10 and the H&K UMP. 4 Assault Rifles and 3 Sniper Rifles. 4 Assault Rifles are AK-47, SIG Commando, M4A1 Colt Carbine and th e Steryl AUG. 3 Sniper Rifles are Steryl Scout, AWP/AWM (Personally and almost all the other ppl who r good and talented at Counter-Strike think THE AWP IS THE LAMEST WEAPON IN GAME. Complete Newbie weapon which i think should be Banned forever and all servers who have AWP using should kick right away or just Ban the weapon or ban the player!) and the last weapon is the uhh not sure forgot Sorry! 1 Machine Gun the Para. hope this helped you and thanks for reading also if need training in game I suggest getting bots. Review: Okay, this game has been out for a long time, and I've played it for as long as it has been out, but I now feel that my experience with this game gives me the duty to report on it's greatness. If you like games like Half Life: Team Fortress or SWAT 3, you will like CS, yet another teamwork based game. The graphics are good and the sound is great, and the control is perfect as long as you get on a nearly lag-free server. In fact, my only major gripes with CS, have nothing to do with the actual software. 1. The "team" you play with only works when the other players cooperate, all too often, your teammates are just a bunch of Rambos who leave you all alone pinned down by a sniper and a guy with a shotgun! 2. The game gets extremely hard to play when the server you are on can't handle 8 player playing in the room, you get such a lag, it can take up to 20 seconds for your guy to finish with his last shot and slap in a new mag! A good sever can handle 32 players with very little lag. 3. This is the software; you shoot a guy point blank with a shoygun in the face, and he lives because he is wearing body armor... BODY ARMOR, not face armor! 4. You can have radio conversations with teammates, but all too often, you end up calling for backup from your TEAM, and nobody comes to help, in fact, you get some smart guys that actually reply over the radio, "Negative." Luckily, I host games were I am a CT, (Couter-terrorist), squad leader and my friend leads the Terrorists, and if people get a little too independant or come in and lag our game too much, I can boot them. With CS, you can get into a clan and have some teammates that will stay with you , my clan is pretty good. If you get this game, and are any good, join my clan, the COLTS, (because we only use M16s).

Review: there! caught your attention. A vast majority of the decent players find this game addicting... it is ! PROS: you can play ontime ANYTIME, fast action, every game is different, real enemy players can make real strategic mistakes in your favor - and 1 good scheming player can wipe out a whole team on his/her own - and make a win for his side. fast action, tense moments. You can even play single player against deadly Bots. meet people from all around the world. CONS: but like the real world, there's alot of jerks out there, people cheating, or just plain have no class, TK's who ruin the gaming experience. a bad internet connection can make the game not worth playing, sometimes Weapons menus switch & your only stuck with limited options, logging onto a server takes a bit long. What I would like to see in the next generation of CS are: same weapons menus for both teams, hostages that don't get caught up on map structures, anti-cheat software, mandatory TK penaly & Banning, and most of all, perhaps a third class (hostages)that can choose to help either teams at their whim ~ better designed maps & weapons damage ... I'm sure CS will evolve nicely on its own. CS is the stepping stone of the internet gaming future - get it!

Summary: THE BEST MULTIPLAYER GAME YOU WILL FIND FOR HL
Review: Counter Strike is the best multiplayrer game you will find for Half-Life. It is very fun. VERY fun. Some good things about it is the fact that it features all real weapons, unlike some other games. I love fighting with real weapons. The models for these guns are really detailed. I love watching the reload for the double Berettas. Another good thing about this game is the additional weapon models made by the fans. You can d/l new models for the game, and those models, I think, are even better looking than the ones that come with the game! The gameplay for this game is very fun. You play as a terrorist or a counter-terrorist battling it out in a variaty of levels, De_Dust being one of my favorites. But theres more to it than just trying to kill the whole of the other team. You can play levels that have objectives like bomb planting and diffusing, and hostage releasing. This is truly a unique multiplayer experience. Even the mod for Unreal Tourniment, Tactical Ops, that features almost identical gameplay, cannot match the super "fun-ness" of CS. Some things that could be fixed are the usual Half-Life glitchyness, and also some minor buggyness with the graphics. I've also heard a couple of stories from my friends saying it did not run correctly on their computer.
