Summary: Can't Wait
Review: The five stars is what I want, but we'll have to wait and see.
I loved the first one and I remember when it first came out.
I have high expectations for this game, but I also hope it dosn't take to much out of my computer.
Half-Life revolutionized first person shooters and I can only hope that this one will go a step further.

Summary: Wow. what can I say?
Review: 700MB e3 video made me cry and want this game even more. Heck?! WHO doesn't want this game?

Summary: This is the REVIEW area, not the promotion area.
Review: Why the hell are people REVIEWING this game when it's not even out yet?? Now when it finally does come out, people will look at the currently 56 or so 5 star reviews and think it's a great game when it might not be. Amazon needs to prohibit people from reviewing until a product is released, if not what in the hell is the purpose of this section??

Summary: Innovations In Gamming HL2
Review: From viewing all the E3 trailers and several fan made trailers I must say that Half Life 2 will be a great game. Why it will be a great game is on the account of the it creating a new standard of detail and dynamic story line for future games to live up to. The images that are present in the trailers is simply staggering, where light reflects off the water and also shows bullets traces over the water. When you see a image of a giant bug with a reflective shell and light bouncing off of it, and as you walk around the bug the light and shadows change. That is just the technical level of the game, while the game play simply looks stellar.
So many games now a days have been low to deliver a truly submersible environment. Where they claim items are usable but yet are not. Case in point various first person shooters. They claim you may move items and those items will take damage when hit. I have yet to see this take great affect to date and have been disappointed by the outcome of things. Yet as I look at the HL2 trailers it becomes clear that items and objects will take a great roll in being manipulated.
I will say that all people need to try this game(s) demo (if/when) it comes out.

Summary: Hoping for the best...
Review: Aaaah... What a magicall year for gamers. Quake 4 announced, Doom III & Half-Life 2 on the way, and Duke Forever... uhm... well... Half-Life being one of the best games ever to take place on mine and any others hard-drives was bound to a sequel. But, what will we recive? One thing is certain, the game will be powered by one of the wildest graphics engines ever. Visuals only seen in movies, sound effects to droll for, kick-ass much environment interactivity... But... Can Valve keep up with the success of the original? Only time will see...

Summary: Cheating in gaming vs a company that makes money
Review: A problem with people that have played counter-strike and just about every other game is that they do not understand that
1) Cheating is a fact of EVERY GAME not just pertaining only to valve-made games. People get bored of a game (or think they're better than everyone else) and download a cheat that someone else has made. This leads to problems that a gaming company tries to fix, but these people that make cheats spend their lives making these disruptions. (just look at any virus maker)

They are made to mess people up and in fact cost gaming industries a ton of money and customers.
2) Valve is a company with a class of people who need to be paid for their knowledge of how to make games great. They plan for a new game while they are making money off ones they've already done... Does that make them criminals? not in my opinion. They do want to make their games fun and they HATE cheaters like the gamers themselves, because most of them are gamers. They want people to have fun.

And, Half-life 2, by what I myself have seen in previews time after time there is no comparison to a game that is currently owned. Some come close, but these people seem to know what they're doing. Thanks for your time.

The 5 Stars are for the fun I have had just watching the previews of the game and them showing off their creation to the world, just a tad bit at a time. (Get a taste, you'll want to come back for more, This time it better be in bigger portions!)

Summary: Date?
Review: I've played an early version of it and it looks amazing! One comment I have against Amazon though is that it said it was already released December 31, 1969! What's up with that? Even I couldn't get it that early and no computers could have run it... Oh well, buy this game, it rocks!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Dont waste my time
Review: Wow! The game comes out in Dec 31, 1969! Does it come with an optional time machine?

As far as I'm concerned the game is vaporware. Don't give me that "oh no! someone stole the code for HL2!" The game is probably not even close to being playable.
