Rating: Summary: barly playable Review: $30 is too much for an add on and the game is full of bugs.collision detection is pitiful. if your looking for a vehicle based game then this is the game to go for.but if you think your going to have any fun on foot think again.your nothing more than a speed bump on foot.there is no zoom on sniper rifles and and the frame rates are terrible even with a bfg 6800 gt 256. the forums for nova logic are controled by rude admins that delete posts that dont agree with novas point of view. ping problems are still rampent even on a high speed connection. the stat system is still broken ,so dont buy it yet if you like stat games. if you hate spawn rapers then dont bother. seems the best tactic is to get a tank and sit on a spawn and kill every player that appears since therre is no true spawn armor. there is no gun kick, instead they went with a bullet spread the size of road island. bullet spread stays the same weather your standing or prone. when using the sniper rifle they put in a fog at about 800m that hinders gameplay. all in all it plays the same as joint ops, team saber minus the zoomable sniper scope.and is nothing like delta force blackhawk down.so,if you a fan of joint ops-buy...a fan of BHD-avoid it,or wait for a more reasonable price..
Rating: Summary: this game beats anything Review: Anyone who says this is horrible is wrong. It has improved graphics and realistic battle styles. The viecles are based on some real ones that are some of the best ones in the world. The guns are the main thing I like. They have kick back and do not let you down unless you have a hand pistol. you get to parachute off the chinook helicopter!! Thats awesome. I really suggest you take this game into consideration.By the way, Pay attention to the other peoples reveiws except the bad reviews.
Rating: Summary: Upgrade and Escalate your beatdown capacity! Review: Having played the original many an hour (What's my girlfriend's name again?), I was simply blown away after jumping into the expansion. One warning though: I HIGHLY recommend a connection over 56k and a fairly new video card (think 128 mb) otherwise you may not be so happy. However, if you have these two bases covered, you are in for a treat!! With 100-150 player battles, top notch graphics, (this game is like digital crack, you almost need digital rehab to return to work :) and excellent pacing, the action and strategy is non-stop high quality entertainment. This game represents the best multi-player out there: Its everything that battlefield 1942, soldner, and even counterstrike, could never muster up
The new maps are cleverly balanced, the new vehicles (dirt bikes, tanks, new helis), weapons, and countermeasures are so well implemented its not a matter of how much fun you'll have, its a matter of how you are going to call in sick the next day so you can play some more. Its THAT good. In any case, anyone yearning for free online multiplayer, fast hot action, teamwork and strategy, look no further and pick it up!
Underwear X (If you see me in a server, give me a holler!)
Rating: Summary: A must have if you liked the original JO. Review: This is a perfect add on to the best multiplayer warfare game on the market. Fast action, easy to learn and play, cool weapons, great teamwork. Everything about this game rocks. They added all the right stuff that was needed to make the original perfect. There is no problem with the playability, the colisions, and the weapons. It's all good.
After playing the beta test for a month, I can't stop playing this game. Sure Halo 2 and Half Life 2 slowed me down a bit. But I'm back into J.O.E. like I never stopped. Play more and more each day. Oh god! I'm addicted! Ahhhhhh! Don't buy this game! It'll keep you awake for days!!! Ahhhh!
I agree with Billy though, the Novalogic Forum Admins are clueless on how to handle a real forum. They really have a superiority complex, and keep the flow of conversation to a bare trickle of information worth reading.
