Summary: Great sound, average graphics, a little clumsy.
Review: I ride in the real world so this software is one more toy to help get me through the winter. I love the sound of the bikes and being able to pop wheelies etc., but the graphics are fairly average, and paint up time is slow--even at the lower resolutions. Response is fairly clumsy with my Microsoft Precision Pro joystick, regardless of the sensitivity setting. When it's easier to control the bikes with the arrow keys, it bothers me. I have an average 475mhz computer that's a year old with 64MB Ram so it's not a hardware issue. The designers that created this game should play Superbike 2000 or Motocross Madness for a benchmark. Those games have great response and run perfectly on my system. When I lean left, I go left. In BOTH Harley games, when I lean left, I go left a second or two later and end up off the road. Yes, I said both games. I bought this one thinking it would be a technological improvement over the last one. You can race in rallies over bridges and streams, and do a poker run but it's too slow--which makes it very frustrating. I really wanted this game to work well. If it requires a gigahertz machine with 250 MB Ram the box should say so. If you liked Race Across America, you'll like this game. If you had problems like the ones I described, it doesn't get any better here.

Summary: Harley Davidson should sue infogamers for this slop.
Review: The box promises a great game with all the feel and sound of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It states that you can customize your bike and ride in many rallys.

Let's set the record straight, their idea of customizing is picking the bike you want to ride and the color of the bike. THAT'S IT! NOTHING ELSE! What a crock. I was looking forward to custom exhausts, oversized gas tanks, boring the engine, changing carburators, etc. Instead, I get to pick the color. That's not exactly customizing the bike.

On to the controls, they are strictly keyboard. Forget about plugging in your favorite gamepad. Use the arrow keys and home row on your keyboard to control this game. What a dissappointment.

The sound was poor at best. The bike sounds nothing like a real Harley Davidson, and if you have ever heard the sound of a Harley you know that it is unmistakeable. This game sounds more like a 3 horsepower lawnmower.

The graphics are poor by todays standards. They may have been good about 3 years ago, but this just sucks.

Overall this game is not worth ten cents, let alone the twenty bucks I blew on this worthless p.o.s.

Save your cash, if you want a good game where you can race bikes buy something from the road rash line. This game belongs in the cyber junkpile right next to baldur's gate 2, Everquest and the Delta Force line.

Summary: Better have an couple of hours to spare...and patience too!
Review: This game takes longer to load and reload for every episode and game than the game itself. It constantly locks up and does not play smoothly. The options available make little or no difference to the game. It is a futile exercise in frustration. They ought to pay YOU to play this game!
