Summary: MY FAVORITE GAME!
Review: The Curse of Monkey Island is my favorite game! It was the first adventure game I had bought. For about a week, I couldn't stop playing it! The graphics are extremely good for a game that came out several years ago. It looks cartoonish, which eliminates all the problems you have to worry about with 3D games. The user interface is outstanding. You just have to click to walk of interact with an item or person. The puzzles are hard, but not bad enough to have you stuck for hours. If you do get stuck, you can look for numerous fan pages on the internet. Almost all have a walkthrough section that you can find help on. The game is also the most hillarious one I've ever played. Many times I paused and laughed. All my friends complained how much I talked about the game. It had my attention the whole time. I realy recommend this game for any person who wants a game where you don't lose the whole thing for one mistake. You can never get stuck. For any fan of adventure games, this should be on your favorites list.

Review: THE CURSE OF MONKEY ISLAND is my top of favorite game list! the funniest, most suprisigly clever and entertaining adventure game ever! gabrash threipwood (sorry for the incorrect spelling)is the main character which undergoes several challanging situations. Although is the third on the row of the"monkey island" series it's the best since. Well the great part is that a fourt "escape from the monkey island" it's on its way to the selves on fall 2000. So buckle your seatbelts and enjoy the piracy with its humour.!

Summary: A pathetic conclusion to a once-great series.
Review: The first two games in the Monkey Island series were fresh, funny, and inventive. The Curse of Monkey Island is none of these things. Rather, it feels like a harsh and manufactured attempt to recreate what made the first two games so great. It does not succeed. Without Ron Gilbert, and without the slightest idea of what the first two games were about, The Curse of Monkey Island, had it been called something else (as it should have) might have been okay. But its poor graphics, mostly unfunny humor, and theme completely foreign to the series make it a game no fun of the series should bother to play. If you've never heard of Monkey Island before, it may be worth it, but it's not likely.

Summary: Curse Of Monkey Island
Review: The Monkey Island series (The Secret Of Monkey Island, The Secret Of Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge, Curse Of Monkey Island) has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The first two in the series were excellent, with humor, wit, and filled with puzzles that will drive you to play for hours. However, CMI did not compare to the greatness of the first two games. I was very dissapointed, especially at the rewardless, short, unexplained ending. LucasArts stil did a pretty good job with animation, sound, and a solid challenge.

Summary: An Adventure of a lifetime
Review: The pride of Lucas Arts. The Curse of The Monkey Island. although it does not posess the 3D environment like Grim Fandango this game is the ultimate Adventure game the graphics are more like Leisure Suit Larry love for sail but anyway this game has the same things as Grim Fandango but does them better. the graphics are: Good (although they are not 3D graphics they are good) sound: well are OK but you dont really pay any attention to the sound while playing this super game and the fun factor: 100/10 incredible buy this for the FUN OF A LIFETIME

Summary: One of the best adventures ever
Review: The third Monkey Island game is most likely the second best (MI2 being the best). The game is fairly large, with some rather devious puzzles which never gets too frustrating. The graphics are amazing, while the voice acting and music is some of the best I've heard. It's hard to find anything wrong with this game, except for the rather flat ending. Can't wait for Escape from Monkey Island!
