Summary: The best of the series
Review: All three games from Monkey Island are great, but this one is the best. It is witty, funny, has unique characters and the graphics are so well made. And who doesn't love pirates! You'll have endless hours of fun with this game.

Summary: Some Big Shoes To Fill
Review: Curse of Monkey Island has some big shoes to fill. Coming on the heels the award winning Secret of Monkey Island and LeChucks Revenge of was not an easy task. This game has the monkey island humor, the charcters and the style, so whats missing? The truth is, a point and click adventure can only be fun for so long. At the end of the day, this comes off as feeling like the same adventure, with new graphics and more dialoge. The game, once again, puts you in the shoes of Guybrush Threepwood. This time, Guybrush's wife, Elaine, has been cast into gold, and he must find away to free her from the spell. Fans of the series will notice the quirks from the first 2 games, remain in this one, as well as some of the charcters. The problem is, the game feels to straightforward. Like all Lucas adventures, it is impossible to die, so you feel no sense of freedom, just very limited. Another problem is Guybrush now comes off as very annyoing. A common scenario is you've been spending 2 hours trying to figure out a puzzle, and you are looking for an item in your inventory to use, and Guybrush says "I cant use that!" in an irrated tone. It can get VERY annoying. Plus the puzzels are near impossible without use of a guide. Overall, the game has its funny moments, but the moments of anger and annoyness far outweight those of fun.

Summary: This is the best game!
Review: Hey, You should defanentally buy this game! It is the best gamer in the world! And I have played many games, its better than the first and second game! You'll meet Stan again and other new charecters that you will love, including Murry the talking skull, and your ship mates who will help you on your battles with other ships! And best of all more insults! The graphics are great, and you never die! Except for once, but that happens no matter what you do. (Guybrush looks funny when hes dead), and hes still as dumb as in the other ones! And you even make a man bold! AHHH! Buy this game now, or youll regret it for the rest of your life!

Summary: Best Game Ever Made!
Review: I absolutely love this game. It has so many puzzles and you have to really think on some of them. I didn't want to stop playing it till i beat it. I have the other two Monkey Islands, too. Which i recommend to anyone. No matter your age you will love this game. The characters are hillarious and you get to choose what Guybrush (the main character) is going to say out of the choices you get. The good thing about this game and the other 2 is the fact that you can't die, no matter what. It is just an adventure game that you can play and laugh and enjoy without wondering whether of not you are going to die. Now Go Get This Game Right Now!

Summary: Fun but silly
Review: I didn't have the advantage of playing the previous Monkey Island games, so I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Guybrush Threepwood before. Now I wish I could go back and play those other games because I thought he was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the interactions with the other characters and the humor in the game. The puzzles were just about right: they required some thought but were not so difficult that I got frustrated (usually). The puzzles can be solved with items out of the inventory, so there aren't any mazes or sliding tile puzzles that we all love so much.

The graphics were quite good, although they weren't what I expected. It was more like a cartoon than a three-dimensional picture. But once I got used to it, I liked it.

The one thing I didn't like about this game was that the humor was a bit too blatant. I don't think Guybrush said a single un-funny thing throughout the whole game; it just wasn't in his vocabulary. I would have preferred to have funny moments rather than a whole slapstick comedy routine.

I'd highly recommend this game to adventure gamers. There isn't any blood or any real violence that I can remember (outside of a little swordplay), so it's safe for kids but it might not be fun for people who like a lot of violence in their games.

Summary: This is the best yet!!!
Review: I have played each and every one of the monkey island games, but this one takes the cake. It by far has the best music and the best plot. Even though the 4th one is 3D, the Curse of Monkey Island also beats it in graphics.

Summary: Great game.
Review: I played the original Monkey Island about 5 years ago. It was a great game. This is even better. The graphics are improved the puzzles are just as good and the humor is just as funny. Occasionally the puzzles are a bit confusing, but they are usually the kind that afterwards you think "Why didn't I do that before". Guybrush Threepwood is a wonderful character who leads you along on a wonderful journey that takes you all over. He always has witty remarks and funny responses. It was great seeing past characters pop up in this game. I would recommend going in order though, or else one may become quite confused. A great game, must buy if you played Monkey Island before.

Summary: Short
Review: I thaught this game was an exelent third part to the triliogy, unfortunately it was to short to hold my attention. Certain neccecary items are almost inpossable to find, but if you backtrack they come around. The quirkeyness and graphics are its greatest atributes. I would recomend this only to those who are die hard fans, and if you have seen Lucas's films. You may be disapointed.

Summary: A great conclusion to one of the Adventure greats.
Review: I've got to hand it to LucasArts. They hired a team of Disney-calibur Animators, hillarious screenwriters, and great voice actors to get this game up and running. They created the only sequel I would accept. Earl Boen does a great LeChuck, and you've got to grin when you hear the Barber Shop Trio perform their horrendous music. Plus, the Banjo Duel. There's for an interesting puzzle. Once again, gotta hand it to LucasArts. They really know their stuff!
