Rating: Summary: Beyond Atlantis Review: This game has held my attention for how much ever time I've played it till now but not without its problems. The graphics are astounding but not all the puzzles are logical. At times it's so difficult to figure what is your next move when u don't have any given clues as to what is to be done next. Like I got stuck after finishing the first three worlds with not an inkling as to what is to be done with the other three triangular roads sticking on to the circle network in the ship. Of course u have the crystal to work on but to figure out what is to be done with it I'm sure even a person with an IQ of 145 will have to consult a walkthrough. First of all I had to consult a walkthrough for this game with quite a number of difficult puzzles and once u do that u cannot help but feel a sense of waste of money. The number puzzle in the pyramid in the Maya world was way beyond my understanding. You can easily sail through most of the puzzles in this game, which require only running to and forth from one place to another, as these are the collect objects and place in order or wherever required type of puzzles - too tiring. Though the graphics take care of this problem at times the thought creeps in that one can do with a less amount of such puzzles in the game. Almost all the puzzles in Ireland are in this category. I simply loved the bridge and spider puzzles in the Maya world. They were very entertaining. The hell bit in china did nothing but drag the game further. Next - once I got through traveling through space in china I couldn't figure out how to get back to the ship. Clicking on to the gong did nothing to the screen and then its not that I didn't try getting back to the ship by clicking on to other objects. To top it this is the second time through the game that I've faced the same problem. Now I'm stuck halfway through the game with an "in -game" problem. Looks like I have no luck with this game. I very much enjoyed playing Beyond Atlantis II compared to this game. The game was short but the puzzles were quite reasonable with the usual stunning graphics. 3 worlds - 3 stars.
Rating: Summary: Excellent game, some technical issues in XP. Review: This game has spectacular graphics---makes playing it [and finishing it] worthwhile. But the navigation is difficult and clues [?] are frequently vague. A lot of trial & error solutions.

Rating: Summary: Beyond Atlantis Review: This game has very good graphics but the excitement is not so high. This game is very theoretic and leaves you thinking. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this game just because it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. But hey, that's just me! It's a good game if you're in to serious philosphies and wonders about life.
Rating: Summary: Great graphics - but will make you CRAZY! Review: This game provides a real experience for a PC gamer - the graphics are terrific, and the whole "mystique" of the theme intices you to try it. But shortly afterwards, the frustration that sets in will make you sorry you did! I am not into PC games as much as some of the other reviewers are, but I am an intelligent person that enjoys a challenge, and a diversion once in awhile. I picked the WRONG game for that! This game required my finding a "cheat site" on the web so I could continue on with it, and I have needed to refer to it throughout my attempts at it. And the "cheat" info was not always enough to get me past an obstacle. There are very few clues for you to know what you're even supposed to be looking for, ridiculous blocks along the way, and slow movements that only add to the frustration level. Find another game!
Rating: Summary: Really great game Review: This was a great game in almost all aspects...great cinematography, great music and great concept. You not only get to explore the five worlds, but you actually learn some facts while you're doing it. For example, the Maya puzzle is based on the actual Maya counting system. Sometimes you needed a little prompt to get you going on the puzzles, but they weren't so difficult that you couldn't figure them out. Definately a great game, along the lines of Myst but much more logical than some of the crazy things they expected you to figure out in Myst!

Rating: Summary: Beautiful imagery, flawed game play Review: Typical of Dreamcatcher games, the graphics in this game are stunning. The game play, however, is not very smooth. With several of the puzzles I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing (and this wasn't part of the puzzle) or the basic instructions for the puzzle. For instance, one puzzle had me construct a landscape by moving squares around. After 2-3 hours I finally logged on to a hint board and found out that by right-clicking on the pieces I could rotate them. A basic piece of instruction not highlighted anywhere in the game or the manual. Other puzzles were illogical. Animation sequences are somewhat entertaining. Game stability is excellent. Plot is a bit tired--you're the chosen one, travel to four exotic locales to fix the wrongs of ages ago.
Rating: Summary: Good for the whole family! Review: We really enjoyed Beyond Atlantis. It's relaxing to play, with beautiful graphics and puzzles that are stimulating, but not so mind-bending that we'd get bored. I enjoyed playing the game as an after-work mental exercise, and our ten-year-old was spot-on with comments, clues and solutions to the puzzles, although he didn't have the patience for some of the map and maze explorations. We ended up playing the game together as a team and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it for adults who enjoy a little computer fun, but also like to play with their kids.
