Summary: Tomb Raider (Pocket PC) Incompatibility
Review: Beware! Although Amazon.Com list the game as being for PDA the EIDOS game package has a much smaller list of Pocket PCs that are supported. I have a Toshiba e740 and it would not install on my device (I get a error message indicating that the program can not detect the device serial number). Contacting EIDOS resulted in the company telling me that unless the exact model is listed on the package it will not likley be compatible.

Summary: [AWESOME!!!]
Review: I LOVED this video game better than any other video game that I have. It's about this girl named Laura who has to get through a tomb before she gets killed. She can get killed either by these missells coming through the walls or by animals that are attacking you. There are three different kinds of animals that are attacking you. They are: wolves, bats, and bears. This is a pretty exciting game so that's why I gave it 5 stars. Anyone who hasn't played this game PLAY IT! I have other video games and this is the best one yet. This is the best video game yet.

Summary: Be careful of the fine print
Review: I purchased this software and when I tried to load it on my PDA's, I got an error message that said the program could not read the serial number of my device. After trying to load the software on a DELL Axim X5 and a Toshiba E335 PDA and getting the same error, I contacted EIDOS support who promptly told me to read the specifications on the package and if my device was not mentioned on the box then it would not work. So buy the game if you have one of the supported devices.

Summary: Great Port of the Classic Game
Review: IF you have the proper equipment, this game is a dream come true. Great graphics and gameplay, the designers have made the button problem a non-issue with an easy-to-use on-screen button scheme. It doesn't take away from the game at all once you get used to it. It's the original Tomb Raider sans the cinemas. 'Nuff said.

Just make sure that you can run it before you buy it; that's a pretty common sense approach to buying any computer software. Pocket PCs are not game consoles, and are not guaranteed to run every piece of software out there. Keep that in mind ANY TIME you're buying software for it. Your best bet is to try a demo first.

Summary: DONT BUY THIS ! It is 1 time load on 1 device ONLY and worse
Review: The game itself is good IF you can play it. BUT first off you better realize it only works on 5 models of IPAQ and two models of the Toshiba Pocket PC and that is ALL! Period. That fact is hidden in the fine print on the back cover and you'll never see it.

Try to load the game on any other device and it wont work and all EIDOS support says is to return it --but of course we all know NO STORE accpets returns of software unless unopened (otherwise people would buy it copy it and return it).

NOW IF (big IF) you get past this problem and you are one of the 17 people on this planet that own one of these 7 devices --then god forbid you ever want to buy a new Pocket PC or god forbid you let your battery run down or do a hard reset or lose your device--then you are dead. You cannot reload this game. EIDOS has devised a protection system that stops you from getting any more than a one time-- one device load. You can call tech support and they can give you a new code but it still doesnt work because their anti-theft software tells the program it has been on the system once before --even if you uninstall it and try to hunt down every file-- something somewhere kills the download and even their own tech support people cant figure it out-- and of course they say to return the game--which of course you cant.

This is a case where the copy protection is so overdone that EIDOS would rather have 100 legitimate consumers suffer than EIDOS lose one copy to piracy. In other words to prevent anyone from stealing their game they end up stealing the money of legitimate consumers--which makes them as bad as the pirates.
