Summary: Game Of The Year
Review: NOLF is one of the more fun games I own. I'll admit the graphics leave alot to be disired but they are not horrible. Anyway I don't play games for the graphics I play for the gameplay. This Game Is a must have, in more ways than one. It has masive online Battle Arena's made from parts of levels in single player. You can play against people from Japan and South America, as well as other places. This is just an example of the masiveness of the online Arenas. NOLF single player is even better. Skillfully crafted worlds are ripe for your rightous hand (clutching your trust worthy Parabelum 9mm of course)to have its way with. The levels range from Germany, to a Space Station, to a trapicol paradice. This game is definatly worth your money and your time.

Summary: THE game for Matt Helm and Derrick Flint
Review: I am a movie lover first and a game lover further on----that is why I highly rate no One Lives Forever so highly.
As a mid-1960's movie this game would draw big crowds to theaters. Looking at this game as a movie here is what you get;
1- A sexy Diana Rigg type super heroine who can out shoot, out fight and out smart any villian.
2- Opposing super-secret spy organizations
3- An array of gadgets and weapons to combat evil
4- Arch-villans who range from very slimy to bizarre
5- villanous minions who are numerous, foreign accented (one sound just like John Cleese, expendable and fairly stupid.
6- A neat 1960's spy movie score.
7- 1960's attire complete with 1960's colors.
This is a fun game that hits on plenty of '60's spy movie features without being too 60's cliched (not too). The action is very good, the challenge is good and the dialog contains some of the period comments that you would expect. Do you remember Donald Hamilton and Carter Brown?

Summary: Groovy!
Review: I ordered this game after completing NOLF2, so I'm kinda going backwards here. I enjoyed the sequal so much, I just had to get the first one as well. I was impressed by the low price, but I had no idea what I would get for it. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box: not only was there a Prima Official Strategy Guide inside, but a NOLF soundtrack CD as well! How is that for a deal?! Of course, then I installed the game, and the game is great as well. I just love Cate Archer; I'm so sick of James Bond that a female spy is more than welcome. The levels are very interesting (a lot of it in the beginning is training), so far my favorite (which is actually quite difficult) is the level where Cate jumps out of a plane without a parachute and must eliminate the shooting enemies falling with her, all the while trying to reach the man below her who DOES have a parachute, then take it. I'd say this level is equivelent with the Ohio level in the sequel. The graphics are great, and the game is very colorful - after all, it does take place in the groovy 60s. If you haven't played this game yet, and are a FPS fan, you've got to get this game. Even when you aren't spying or killing, you are still entertained by the conversations of the surrounding people. So if you want a great deal on a great game, get this one now. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: If you like FPS games this one will entertain and challenge
Review: Sierra and Monolith have done it again and made an excellent PC CD ROM Game. The graphics are great. You get to ride a snow mobile through beautiful snowscape enviroments. The controls are easy to manage and you can use a joystick too. I enjoyed this games demo and plan to purchase the full. Oh and the sound tracks and music are groovy (think circa 1967).

Summary: Awesome game, you need to play it!
Review: I bought the game from "word of mouth" and let it sit after installing it. My son asked me if he could play it and was instantly hooked. Great graphics, story. The weapons and gadgets are fantastic - Nice touch! Gameplay is excellent and this is a top ranking fps (and I've played a few in 10+ years). We are only thru about 1/3 of it and love it already. An especially nice touch is the "falling out of the airplane" segment. You have to catch up to the bad guy with the parachute, take it away from him, and shoot the other bad guys floating around trying to kill you! An excellent game, well deserving of 5 stars. Buy it and enjoy it. Who needs Bond when you have Cate!!

Summary: An interactive "Modesty Blaise" !!
Review: The game plays like a Modesty Blaise novel with the serial numbers filed off! Good graphics and shooting elements INTEGRATED into the story, so that the action actually means something other than to provide corpses. Strategy, gadgetry, bullets, and psychedelica add up to a hoot of a pulp-action game.

Summary: FUN & MORE
Review: While fairly new to the gaming community, i do still have my standards of what is good and what is...lacking. NOLF is about the most fun i've had in a long time. The single player is hilarious (i just loved the whole monkey discussion) and is hard enough to keep me interested, if not overly difficult. While i really enjoy playing the multiplayer, it's often tough to find a good open server...just not enough people know about it! The lag can be a bit cumbersome as well...but if you can get over it...it's great! I loooooooove the sniping!

Summary: THE BEST OF THE BEST
Review: This game is the best fps i've played, better than jedi knight: jedi outcast, half-life, and any other. Although I have put less time into this game then those games but this game is the most gripping game of them all. The mission design is some of the best of i've seen, from jumping out of airplane (the best action sequence in any game EVER you acually get to play it) to escaping from a exploding space station. This game is pretty long, but it only took me 4 days to finish it (man I played 8 hours a day) on normal difficulty level. It is a shame that this game didnt sell well. Anybody who loves the fps genre should buy it now, and then buy the sequel.

Summary: Complete waste of money
Review: Tested on 1GHz P3 with 256Mb RAM and ATI Rage 128 running Windows 2000 Pro, DirectX 8.1, latest video drivers from ATI.

I got the demo from PC Gamer magazine and had a lot of fun with it. I noticed the price of the full game was [the right amount of money] so decided to buy it. What a waste!

The same installs with no errors. However, when I try to run it all I get is an hourglass for a few seconds then nothing. When I run TaskManager I can see nolf.exe in the process list but there is no corresponding window.

Fox Interactive's idea of techinical support is a peer-to-peer discussion forum. There is no way to get any support from the company. Reading the discussion forum gives you an idea of the huge number of problems this game has. ...
