Summary: DA BEST O DA BEST!
Review: Did you know that Tron has a crush on Megaman? When you save her from Paprika(the dog), she walks slowly towards you and starts to blush! She is kinda hot too... Ill betcha she wants to get in bed with him!but...Megaman is already occupied by a REALLY hot chick! ROLL (Megaman's secret wife)!I think she's hotter than Iris(Zero's secret wife) and Alia (X's secret wife). But the rest you'll figure out along the way.

Summary: Its fun...Depending on your view of it =P
Review: I liked this game. No, actually, I loved it. It was great to be able to play a MegaMan game in 3D but if your like me, you beat it in a day or two then get sort of bored of it. It was great that they tried making the game longer by giving difficulty settings after beating it but it just wasn't enough. If you really want to play a good game, this is one of 'em...but be prepared to finish it in a few days. After playing this game though, I realized that MegaMan games aren't meant for 3D. It just can't beat the original side scrolling MM games. Im really fond of the X series. I wouldn't mind seeing a MMX in 3D just as long as it has alot of the original concepts to it. Well...Thats enough from me =P Later! ^.^

Summary: legends of the man that is mega
Review: In my opinion, the game is very fun. The game play is pretty similar to Zelda 64, except you have many different guns. The graphics and plot are pretty good. Even after I beat it I still played it. The only down side of the game is that you beat it after a couple of days, but it is still fun to play.

Summary: Be warned - this is NOT a Mega Man game
Review: In recent years, Capcom attempted to bring their classic Mega Man franchise into the new millennium. They gave the series a complete makeover, in a number of ways, and thus, the Legends series was born. How does this, the first game in the Legends series, measure up? Read on and see.

PROS:
-IT'S A FULL 3D GAME. Many fans of the Mega Man series had long been awaiting such a game, and at long last they have one. Well, sort of.
-THERE ARE TONS OF WEAPONS AND ITEMS FOR YOU TO FIND AND USE. The island where the game takes place is filled with ruins which it will take a good deal of time to explore in their entirety.
-THE STORYLINE IS BETTER THAN SOME PEOPLE MAKE IT OUT TO BE. This is NOT really a Mega Man game, but the storyline the game has is an interesting one nonetheless.

CONS:
-THE BIGGEST CON IS THE MOST OBVIOUS ONE - IT ISN'T REALLY A MEGA MAN GAME! Capcom just used a Mega Man look for many of the characters so that they could sell more games. For shame, Capcom.
-THE GRAPHICS ARE HORRIBLE, EVEN FOR A FULL 3D PLAYSTATION ONE GAME. The characters look like they were made out of paper, and I don't mean that in a good way. The 2D Mega Man games on the Playstation had graphics way better than these.
-THE CONTROLS SUCK. If you want to turn, you have to rotate the camera. This becomes extremely annoying in no time at all. There are also several other control faults.
-THE GAME LEAVES TOO MANY QUESTIONS UNANSWERED. If the series really IS somehow connected to the other Mega Man game series, the game fails to tell you how. Likewise, your character's origin is never explained.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a good game, but it wasn't really what I was hoping for. That's not to say you won't have any fun with it - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you find this game in the budget bin, pick it up. It may surprise you.

Summary: MegaMan rocks!
Review: Megaman is the best game that I've played in my whole life. It's cool, funny, and really witty because you can kick a soda can into a bakery counter and get bonus money. Buy the game. You won't regret it.

Summary: The spirit of anime distilled into wonderous CD form.
Review: Megaman Legends is probably my favourite Capcom title and a contender for favourite PSX title. It's a little bit RPG, a little bit action, a little bit puzzle...Capcom's developers DO know innovation, though you wouldn't know it by looking at whatever Resident Evil or Street Fighter Hyper Alpha Pink Mongoose 4 sequel is splattered across the market at this time.

The game scares a lot of oldschool Megaman fans. These people do not want something new, they want linear level design with a cute little boss and a victory pose. Megaman Legends isn't really about getting to old Doc Wily or Sigma or who-cares-who and pounding his face until he stops being evil. The plotline is "whimsical if kidsy" as opposed to "kind of a loose frame for murdering robot dudes". It takes very nearly the whole game for there to be anything serious.

Purchase this game and love it. Only a gibbering fool would hate a Megaman game for not being the same as the thing before.

Review: People have said this isn't a Mega Man game because the main character isn't the same guy as in the original series and the plot is different. But by that definition there hasn't been a Mega Man game in three years, and there hasn't been one released in the US in five years. And the game does have a lot in common with the original series, as I'll explain. Also, this game was released four years ago, on the original PlayStation, so those of you complaining about the graphics seem to have missed the point. Especially those of you who think the graphics alone take it down to 2 stars (hello, this is Casual Gamers R Us, how may we help you?).

Anyway, this is sort of a spinoff of the Mega Man series, like X or Battle Network. At some point in what is apparently the past of the normal MM series, people live on small islands using machines powered by refractor crystals, which are found by people called Diggers in underground ruins. It's a dangerous job, though, because the ruins are inhabited by dangerous "Reaverbots" who attack any intruders. MegaMan Volnut, one of these Diggers, crash-lands on Kattelox Island, where he searches for parts for his friend Roll to use to rebuild his airship... and then pirates attack, and then weird stuff starts happening whenever MegaMan goes into the ruins... and ultimately MegaMan has to save the people on the island from being wiped out.

Now for the details. MegaMan, like every other character by that name, has a Mega Buster, but it actually works more like Bass's Forte Buster in that it's aimable and it rapidfires. The ruins play more or less like 3D versions of Mega Man stages, but there's not necessarily a boss in every level (though there are plenty of bosses). The controls are excellent and can be reconfigured if you don't like them (you might want to switch the sidestep and turning keys). There's also an "overworld" where you don't have much fighting to do (like in most RPGs). It's not really an RPG where you gain levels and stuff, but it's similar (think Zelda here).

The good news: It's fun. The game is long without being repetitive, every level introduces something new, the bosses aren't really a chore, and the cutscenes are wonderful. Also, while you don't get weapons from bosses in this game (with the exception of the Machine Buster, which is made of parts from an early boss--check trash cans downtown after you save City Hall), you do get lots of special weapons, which all have their own advantages and disadvantages (except the Powered Buster, which has no advantages, and the Active Buster, which has no disadvantages). And the special items you can get add another layer to the gameplay (what buster parts should I equip?).

The bad: The plot isn't the most brilliant, and half the time you have no idea what you're supposed to be doing. It's also not "really" a Mega Man game, so if you want something that plays exactly like every other MM game you're out of luck. Also, the ending is honestly pathetic. The one really bad thing is that the parts you need for half the decent weapons in the game are so well hidden, you have to know where they are already in order to find them (try <mmhp>).

The ugly: Tiesel Bonne. Can we say "PLASTIC SURGERY"? Seriously, somebody must have fallen from the TOP branch of the ugly tree. While proving that the ugly tree is a redwood.

Overall: If you want a fun game to play, get this game. If you want a Mega Man game and all that implies, don't get this game. If you judge games based solely on their graphics and how well they match their titles, don't write a review of this or any other game.
