Rating: Summary: Family Fun Review: Believe me there are NO games that are enjoyable to both myself and my wife. EXCEPT The MUMMY. We have finally completed all levels after countless hours of mutual fun. Does anyone Know if the new "The Mummy" by ebgames, coming out in April 2004 is a follow on or a completely different outfit.\?
Rating: Summary: Awesome!! Review: For people who love strategy, puzzles and action, this is the right game for em!!
Rating: Summary: Wake me when the game is over. Review: I had high expectations for this game. People here on Amazon have given it high ratings, so I immediatly rushed out to get it. Boy, was I dissapointed. The story is not clear at the beginning (unless they expect you to know it follows the film), the graphicsa are easy to tell they were ported from a console, and the save system is just plain bad. Each time you enter a new level, it autosaves for you. The draw-distance, is well, drawn bad. You can only see about 10ft in front of you. And to top it off, the impersonated voice-acting is terrible. Rick O'Connell sounds like an English man with a head-cold. The only good thing is the soundtrack, which is ripped right from the films. I don't recommend this to anyone with a taste in games, because this has everything that a bad game does, except the music.
Rating: Summary: A mummy experience Review: I loved the movie and becuase of that I enjoyed the game. There are lot's of movie clips and and the music is all heard in the film. All around the levels and music create a spooky experience that is fun and exciting. The camera movements are somewhat jerky and can cause parts of the game to be rather difficult. The game is catagorized as action and it fits it's description with lots of enemies to take care of. If you liked the film and enjoy action games, this game is for you!
Rating: Summary: Faboulus coulnt have been better Review: It was challenging and also very fun you could use machine guns and also has movie clips that are realy long

Rating: Summary: The game is good for the action Review: My brother received this game for Christmas when he was in 9th grade and I was in 4th grade. My brother played it untill he got up to the third level CAVERNS OF THE NILE then he stopped playing for a while. Then I started playing the game. I enjoyed it basically because it was an action game and that's what I was interested in. The controls were very easy to get used to mostly just going forward, backward and the key that you use to fire your gun or slash your sword. First, the weapons you start out with are a torch and two pistols but gradually you go on and collect a machete, a shotgun, a golden sword etc. The enemys you battle include guys with hats, mummys, enemys with swords and shields and more. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the graphics were not good and there was not much else in the game besides killing people and going through levels. However, there were some bonus parts where if you collected enough treasures you could do special things such as having unlimited amunition, being invincable and theres a bonus level which is the CAIRO LEVEL. If you're into the game just for the action I would recommend it to you otherwise you might want to check it out.
Rating: Summary: The Mummy Review: Not worth [the money] Robotic gameplay and a confusing perspective make this game difficult to adjust to from standard FSP play. Almost mouse interface at all.
Rating: Summary: 'THE MUMMY'.... IS GREAT Review: This game is straight from the movie. It has fairly good graphics, but the people are 'boxy'. It is an all out 'shoot em up' game, but as with the movie nothing bleeds. It has terrifying visual and sound effects and is most enjoyable. You get the greatest feeling of satasfaction with the completion of each level. It is an exellent challenge, but not too difficult to handle. It's a good game for you if you are looking for an action packed, something-around-every-corner type of game. It needs no brain power, you just have to figure out how many shots or slashes everything requires so as not to use up all your ammo (it becomes very valuable so as i prefer swords). It starts out slowly with scenes from the movie and slowly builds up to more difficult adversaries. It provides a challenge with 6 types of mummies (not including the mummy himself, you don't get to fight him until the end), tomb robbers, anubis, beni, anck-su-namun (pronounced anac-sue-namoon), and finally imhotep. With three types of guns (dual pistols, a shotgun and a lewis gun a.k.a an old fashioned machine gun), a torch, a machete, dynamite, amulets (throw them and they blow up), the golden sword, and if all else fails, your fists, you are well equipped for just about anything. Overall I would say this is an enjoyable game.
