Summary: Dark and Wonderful Alice
Review: Never being a huge PC gamer, the few games I find that do satisfy my interests are great. The mix of excitement and horror ans I played "Alice" makes for exciting times. I still am not finished, since I have strong feelings against using cheats, and I never tire of it. This game is definitely not or children, but many adults will enjoy playing this game until the wee hours of the morning. The intense graphics and recognizable characters make this game one of a kind.

Summary: Unlimited potential...
Review: ...unrealized. Excellent idea, excellent graphics, completely destroyed by endless physical puzzles unrelated to the game itself. Could have been fantastic, ended up frustrating. **

Summary: Hate to dissent
Review: ...1. The level design sure is fantastic and surreal, if fantastic and surreal mean "poorly designed, substituting play control issues and stupid puzzles for actual challenges", or perhaps "look at us...we can make our doors oddly angled! How crazy we must be".
2. Plot? What? gee whiz, you know what would make a really horrible action game? An acid trip. American McGee's response: "We're on it!". Look, I concede that it is possible to have some pretty bizarre things in a game, but it defeats the purpose of adventure games if the only design rule is that it be clumsy, unnecessarily complex, and devoid of entertainment value.

Summary: DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE
Review: Simply put, this game is not only an work of pure genius but an acid trip of stellar animation, good action and shoot-em up type gameplay. It utilizes technology originally made for quake III. Only this game is better than quake III. The games puzzles also make you think. It is not just a brainless action game, but a puzzle. In short, its a masterpiece.

Summary: Great twist, impossible missions
Review: I enjoyed being submerged within the twisted fantasy of the game wizards whom created this game. The eerie gameplay and dimented creatures spawned from within the story of "Alice In Wonderland" kept me going. The game contained superb graphics and sound effects, as well as great "not too impossible to defeat" creature effects, as well as deadly childhood play toys used to dispose of undesireables. The downside is that with all the great characteristics of the game, it was not the wrongheaded minions of the "Queen Of Hearts" that vexed me, it was the all but entirely unachievable stages. Honestly at times I felt like opening the "Read Me" file of the program just to discover the identity of the guy whom developed the levels of "Alice." (They asked the impossible.) If I had not learned of the console codes available for the game (GODMODE) I would have never completed "Alice." (I know, I'm a cheat, but try completing a level from start to finish over twenty times with no prevail and see your reaction!) There is no savegame within the levels so when you "pass on," you start over. (Some stages are unbelievably long as well.) I give credit for the great sound and surroundings, but some levels are more difficult than trying to span the grand canyon with a length of thread.

Summary: Alice Rocks!
Review: This game is definitely not for the kiddie kats! HOwever tres cool! Some of "Alice" fans may be disappointed by the lack of traditional Carroll-characters on the first few levels but once you get cracking the characters come in including the white rabbit, the mad hatter, the cheshire cat your guide, the duchess, mock turtle, to name a few. Both clever in design and an excellent score written by a former NIN member! Some "Alice" fans may be saddened by the deterioration of Wonderland and through the looking glass. The graphics and the narrative plot which move story along are great, often it feels as though you are watching a movie, a really cool dark twisted creepy movie! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME! The game is difficult at parts but lots of fun trying, just make sure you keep saving.!)

Summary: Good game, but a couple inaccuracies...
Review: Ok... the game was a lot of fun (over too soon, WAY too soon!) but I have one gripe... The head of the Mock Turtle is the head of a bull in the game, instead of a pig... and Alice is made an honorary reptile instead of an amphibian... a reptile would have no special ability to hold its breath underwater, or breathe underwater, or whatever was happening. The game was not too complex, but I'll overlook that - the atmosphere was great.

Summary: THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST FUNNIEST GAMES EVER!
Review: EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME YET, I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS GAME. I PLAY IT NOT STOP. EVEN MY FRIENDS LOVE TO PLAY IT!
ALICE IS IN AN INSANE ASYLUM AND SHE GOES BACK TO WONDERLAND, BUT EVERY THING HAS BECOME WEIRD AND UNNATURAL. SHE GETS HELP FROM THE CHESHIRE CAT AND THE WHITE RABBIT TO FIND THE QUEEN. ANYONE WHO IS ON THE QUEEN'S SIDE ALICE KILLS.
ALICE GETS THESE TOYS (WEAPONS) THAT SHE USES THROUGHOUT THE LEVEL, LIKE A KNIFE, JACKBOMBS, PLAYING CARDS, ECT.
ANYONE WHO LOVES FIGHTING OR KILLING WILL LOVE THIS GAME. I RATE IT 5 STARS!!!!

Summary: Excellent Game
Review: This is truly an excellent game! Small Spoiler - I am about halfway through the game, and from what I can tell, the returning characters are - (good) The Cheshire Cat, The White Rabbit, The Caterpillar, Hare, Rat (from the tea party), and (bad), The Cards, Twedildee and Twedildum, The Mad Hatter, and The Queen of Hearts. Also, some new characters that weren't in the movie - The Duchess, The Centipede, Gryphon, and The Jabberwock (from the book). I'm not sure this is complete. -End of spoilers-The game it self has gorgeous graphics, amazing game play, a great unfolding story line, and comes in seven colorful, non kid friendly flavors! :) Like I said, this game is not for kids. It has violence, gore, and deals with psychological problems Alice is dealing with. However, this game is not overly scary. It does have a few points ware it can give you a fairly good shock, (but most of the shocks come from the many, many, cinema tics). If you are looking for a scary game, you could play this in your room at night, with your door locked, and a metronome ticking in the corner. That would do it. You get a number of toys, which are actually weapons. This is a great long game. When I first bought this I was skeptical, but now I realize what a good game this is!
