Review: I had a great time playing this game. It wasn't frustratingly difficult (like Myst) or too easy (like Freddie Fish) but just right for a kid who wants a challenge or an adult that doesn't want a long term commitment. The characters are wonderful. The jokes are very funny (though sometimes gross) and are woven throughout the story, puzzles, and dialogue. There were only a couple of places where I got tired of trying to figure out what to do next and only had to slip onto one of several convenient cheat websites to get unstuck. For you parents: It does include talking corpses, zombies, fortune telling, ghosts, evil curses and such, but not in a way even a kid would take seriously. It is almost completely violence free - even sword fights can only be won by whomever can make the best rhyming insults to his opponent.

Review: I have played all four monkey island games and this one by far is the BEST. The background art is one of the most amazing aspects of this game, also the storyline is great. The graphics of this game are uncomparably superior to the first two. I had been waiting for the arrival of this game for so long and when I finally got it, it was better than I had ever imagined it would be.

Review: I have to say I'm impressed. I have never played a game quite like this one. Adventure games may be a dying genre, but with games like these help me at least pretend that adventure games are here to stay.

Even if you have never played a Monkey Island game before, you will enjoy this one. The graphics are very lively and energetic, the story is compelling enough, the puzzles are logical and sly, and the whole production is chock-full of humor. Go buy it right now. It represents the finest that adventure games can offer, and you won't be sorry.

Review: I own all four of the Monkey Island games. Of course, they are all very good, but this remains my favorite. Unless you hate funny, puzzling games with good graphics, pirates and ex-cannibals, this is a game you must play. I have to admit that some problems are hard to solve without the cheat sheets (which you can get at cheatcc.com) but if you use them, use them as a guide the first time. After one or two plays you should be able to go through the whole game with no problems. And it is one of those games you play more than once, you have to. I don't know exactly what it is, but this game is the best , I couldn't reccomend better. Gubrush, LeChuck, Lemonhead, and of course the demonic skull Murray keep you in your seat until your done, and then you want to start all over again. It has a good plot, good graphics, and it's not a hard game to understand just one you have to figure out. For those of you that aren't beginners, but obsessed fans, you should know all this, so my message to you is buy them all if you haven't already and keep being a Monkey Island fan!

Review: I played this game 2 years ago, and loved it from beginning to end. Lucas Arts finally reawoke the Monkey Island Adventure series and drew me back into the world of Guybrush Threepwood. For any gamer, this game is a must. The satirical script and hilarious characters make it an enjoyable experience like no other game I have played. While it is a bit dated, the brilliantly done cartoon graphics show little sign of aging and with a price this low, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Review: I recived this game for Christmas this past year and thinks its a great game. The replay factor of the game is great. Ive beaten both game modes (one mode has more puzzles than the other) and want to beat it again! There is no bad language or violence in it. The only thing that deals with violence is when the main character fakes death. Even though it has no violence or guns, I as a 15 year old gamer believe its one of the greatest video games out on the market. Even though this is the 3rd game in the series, it is not a necessity to have played the other 2.
