Summary: Good game
Review: I thought this game was a pretty neat game. When i installed it, i noticed that you gotta have a pretty top of the line computer (lucky for me). Something i didn't like about the game is that you can't save the game. The missions are just too long and complicated to not be able to save in the middle of the game. (unless of course, you have a walkthrough,..but still its frusterating)

But other than that, this was an exellent game, with outstanding graphics and a wide range of weapons like the fibre wire and the knifes, not to mention a tasty mini gun. And another thing i liked about this game is that when you kill somebody, you can take there cloths, there guns, anything they got on them.(which is very neccesarry to beat the misions, some people you can't take there cloths, but if you can't take there cloths, you probably weren't ment to).i had a fun time with this game.. Two thumps up!

Summary: Great Fun
Review: Hitman is a fun game packed with a ton of weapons, baddies and confusing missions. It starts you off in a facilty were you begin training with the arsenal of weapons provided for you. A year later the party begins.

The pros for me were the graphics and the large selection of guns and knives. The option of wearing the baddies outfit was a pretty great feature too.

Cons, the way the missions were to be carried out was stupid. Story line was flat and the several bugs in the game got annoying. Another was repeating the same mission over and over from start because there is no save feature. And one that always got me was how certain missions left you stranded.

All in all it was an okay game that found its spot on the shelf along with many of the other games i have. This is a probably the only game I lost interest in after the first day.

Summary: Original, but flawed
Review: The concept of a game in which the protagonist is a professional killer hired to assassinate targets is, to my knowledge a new idea. The missions which followed this concept were very fun. However, there are only a few missions like that. Many other missions are far too long for a game without a save feature. Many missions are just stupid such as the ones in the jungle, and when you have to deactivate a nuclear weapon (why does EVERY game have you defusing a nuke nowadays.) I would have given this game 5 stars if all the missions were assassinations.

The excellent physics engine and graphics were very impressive. The AI was pretty good as well. The plot of the game was poor at best.

One thing to be aware of is that you need a high end computer to run this game without major bugs. I originally installed it on a 500 mhz system, where it frequently crashed. However, when I put it on my 1 Ghz it ran smoothly and without errors.

Summary: Don't listen to the naysayers
Review: If you've every had problems with that pesky 30-day waiting period for handguns or a had a coworker who really deserves to be drug out into the street and shot, then hitman is the game for you. Loaded with tons of violence and situations that require you to be lethally percise it's one gmae that never runs out of new and interesting "situations" that need to be explored. So stop whinning about how games cause violence and go kill some people to relieve that pent up ambition to erase someone. BUY Hitman

Summary: What I've been waiting for
Review: It's games like this that make me happy to have a computer. This idea is one that I've never really seen before, yet love instantly. A Hitman, one of the adolescent dream professions comes almost to life in this game, and that's what I like about it. It's got awesome graphics, great sound effects, and a cool storyline. There are only three little things I don't like about it: 1) Unlike any other professional, this Hitman cannot use his hands or feet. However, he can get bad weapons like the Oyabun knife (A bigass tanto blade, from what I can tell) and the Fiber Wire (Fiber, so it won't be picked up by metal detectors). Add to this a score of guns and you have an awesome arsenal. 2) You can't always clean up. For instance, the mission that they give you with the demo (The Massacre at Cheung Chau Fish Restaurant) docks 5000 points for every policeman you kill (out of a possible 7) and 3000 for every civilian you kill (my max is 5). If you get more points taken off than you get from the mission, you lose. 3) I don't really mind this, but it IS the real reason the ESRB exists. Not quite as bloody as Soldier of Fortune, another cool game, but it gets right up there. Bottom line, I don't want my mom to know I have this game. But, for all you hardcore gamers, this is definetly a game to get, Have fun!

Summary: is it just another shooter ? Nop, it isn't
Review: When i first read about the game i read SHOTER , so i think it was like all the other shoters games, but it is not. This is a excelent game, you have a lot of cool devices, like piano-wire , car bombs, sniper rifles, and all kind of guns. When U r in a mission you must think every move you will do, cuz a false move and U r death, if U aim your gun then kill the enemy with a shot or let them kill you with a lot of shots. This is the kind od game where a quick brain is better than a quick finger in the trigger. If you like games like thief, metal gear, then i am sure you will like this one.

Summary: Oh My!!
Review: I have to say I bought this game as soon as I played the demo. This is an outstanding game. You, the hitman, have to choose from your deadly arsenal of weapons to complete mission after mission. The graphics of Hitman are outstanding, and the gameplay is great. The point that put it over the top for me was realism. Now of course the game cant be all real, but when a stray bullet hits a trashcan and makes it roll across the ground, or when the body you are dragging falls into a hole due to "gravity" that is impressive. It is this attention to detail that puts Hitman over the top in my book.
