Summary: How could you possibly...
Review: Say that this game [is bad]?!? When I first played this game it was at my cousins house. It took a little while to get use to the controls but after that is was really fun. I bought it for PC a few days later and was blown away. This game isn't like other games and I think thats what they wanted. The controls are going to be tough to master but do you really think it would be easy to learn how to walk on walls while shotting policemen and jumping over them at the same time? Thats part of the fun in the game is just learning that sutff. Among other great things you get a chance to actually fight Trinity (who hasn't wanted to do that?), fight Sarif (the Oricals bodyguard), and Agents Smiths. This game is a great for matrix fans and people looking for a game that isn't quiet like the rest. I'm not even going to tell you about the hacking ability you can use to hack into the matrix and Spark's Training Construct. Don't listen to other people or even me if you want to pi=ut it that way, just go out and play it for yourself.

Summary: good effort, bad result
Review: this game had a lot of potential. i was ravenous as i tore open the packaging, only to find out that i had spent 50$ on a subpar game. while at first the martial arts and gunplay was exciting and hooked me, it quickly got repetitive and boring. how many times can u watch the same animations over and over before it gets dull? Plus, there are glitches aplenty. deleted games and hours spent stuck in walls are rampant. i give it a 2 because of the first few hours and because of the real cinematics incorporated into the game.

Summary: you don't know what you are talking about
Review: this game is the best I ever played. its really easy to move because its like this: a= strafe left, s=back or down, d= strafe right, w=forward or up. check your keyboard its like they moved the arrow keys onto where the letters are and the view is controlled with the mouse. shift key is focus and space is jump. you play with the a s w d keys as if they are the arrow and the pinky on the shift for focus and thumb on the space for jump its so simple!!!!! you can do a lot of moves in a veriety of cases aginst many opponents and the weapons are realistic. its not too easy because in normal and hard it gets hard to beat the game. on top of all you get the story which tells you why stuff happened on "reloaded" like they did. I'm not a hardcore matrix fan but even after you beat the game both with ghost and neobe its fun to play again in easy mode. Buy it.

ATI Rage Fury Pro 32MB AGP 4x Apparently it won't run at all on my Video Card. I'm not even allowed to "dumb it down" to get it to play. But, this title play on PS2 and X-Box, and both of those consoles pale in comparison to the hardware I have. So, where's the logic in that? The vidoe cards on both of those machines is a generation before the RAGE series from ATI. Horrible programming, in my book. I had to return the game. --Robert

Summary: Save yourself the frustration and the money
Review: After 7 hours of trying to just install this game and various trips to the Atari tech support... I am now the proud owner of 4.... Enter The Matrix table coasters.
How this company could release a PC game that can't even install correctly is beyond me. By far the worst game/product I have ever purchased on the internet or anywhere else. It is as close to outright ... that I have ever seen.
This game is so full of bugs, you seriously have to be quite computer literate to have a shot at getting this to install let alone run on your PC.
If anything get the console versions... save yourself the pure frustartion that is the PC version of this game.
Horrible, absolutely positively horrible.

Summary: Buy the XBOX Version!
Review: Ok. I played this on the PC at a friends. Was not impressed. Then we loaded it up on my XBOX after making a trip to Blockbuster. The difference is simply AMAZING! The XBOX game has to be the best I have ever played. Beats Max Payne, KOTOR, Jedi Outcast, and SWG any day of the week. GET THE XBOX VERSION AND BE AMAZED!

Summary: Mediocre game, opportunity wasted
Review: Some of the graphics and character modelling look great, but that's the best the game has to offer. The gameplay is uninspired: you run through a level, fighting guys, until you get to the end of the level, then you go to the next level. There's no strategy to it and nothing to think about. You just tap keys a lot. The game levels are interwoven with cut scenes, both animated and filmed, which is actually annoying in practice; you want to play the game and you have to stop and wait far too long to do so. Plus the inflexible game save system forces you to watch the same movies over and over again for difficult levels. The controls are awkward. The story, such as it is, is unnecessary, and anyway if they wanted to tell a story they should have just released it as a video like The Animatrix. The saddest thing is that they wasted a great opportunity to make a mind-blowing game; the game is sadly conventional.

Review: This is one of the worst games of the year. Even hardcore Matrix fans will be dissapointed in this product. If you want to play an action game with a matrix style of playing, get Max Payne and download the free Matrix MOD for it.

Summary: Wow.
Review: I don't mean wow as in a good thing. I have been a PC Gamer for about 10 years now. I have played some bad games in my time, even horrible games. Enter the Matrix is the worst though. The story is nothing special and the control scheme is horrible. I found it impossible to move myself around with ease. The hacking segment of the game is an innovative idea but it is so poorly executed that you feel as though you are simply typing in random things.
Take my advice, if you want a cool shooter with bullet time dont get Enter The Matirx, spend your money on Max Payne which is waaay cheaper.

Summary: Enjoyable, but not great
Review: I like the Matrix and the Matrix Reloaded, but I don't have a Matrix fan site, so I was a little hesitant to get this game. I'd heard some mixed things about it, but finally decided I was too curious not to buy it for myself. Honestly, most of what you've heard is true. I'm still enjoying it, nonetheless! It's not mind-blowing great, but it could have been if they'd spent more time on it. Still, it was an interesting experience playing a game so closing tied in with a movie. Specifically, I'm impressed with what they did do right with this game: The graphics are really impressive in some regards, especially the players. The cut scenes are well done; the voice work and score/sound is great and the movie clips you get are also a nice treat. The hacking utility is a neat addition that I haven't played around with much yet, and although Max Payne also utilizes bullet-time very well, Max doesn't run up the walls and do back flips. He doesn't do half of what these characters will do with just a little practice. All of the nifty moves in the Matrix from the wall-walk to the shooting cartwheel can be done. My favorite is when you fly through the air, spinning and shooting. The first time I managed to do that, I smiled and said, "Okay, that was cool." However, that being said, they could have done a lot better. The driving sequences are pathetic with a capital P! Switching between hand-to-hand fighting and shooting is somewhat annoying, but not as annoying as the first-person mode that's difficult to get out of quickly. Furthermore, your aim in the game is absolutely horrid unless you use Focus, and even then it's not stellar. It uses auto-aim and it's absurd! If you come from the FPS world, you'll be really annoyed and probably want to stick with hand-to-hand fighting. That was my biggest frustration and I can't for the life of me understand why they don't allow us to aim for ourselves??? It's really not that difficult. Also, the game is also a bit glitchy, so make sure you download the patch! It's worth the download time if you have a slow connection. All that being said, I'm still glad I own it and even though it's not perfect and doesn't live up to its potential, I don't feel like I got ripped off like I did after I played Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring-another rush job. I'll keep this one and probably play it again from time to time. If you're considering buying this for the Matrix fan in your family, do so-they'll love it, just make sure their PC meets the system requirements and they have access to the Internet so they can download the patch.
