Summary: Simply Excellent!
Review: I've been a fan of the Final Fantasy series since way back when I was a wee youngen, so I can tell you guys by experience that every new Final Fantasy game gets better each time, and FF7 is no exception. As expected from SquareSoft, the plot is complex, very deep, and extremely entertaining. The graphics add to the atmosphere and are smoothe as silk. The combat system, however, is what makes this game. It's not a click-fest nor turn-based, but rather a combination of both with a splash of strategy and tactic on your side. The game will deliver easily over 50+ hours of gameplay and even then it wouldn't be enough. This game has my unconditional seal of approval.

Summary: So Far it's Great
Review: I sorta just started playing so I'm not very far but so far i reccomend it to anyone that likes a good RPG. It gets you so involved... you'll say: I'm only gonna play for an hour or so... and next thing u know 3 hours have passed. It's so engrossing. The only problem is the save system where u gotta be at a checkpoint... i like to save whenever i want. Other than that, I'm thrilled with my decision to spend the measly $20. Cheaper than on PlayStation, and you get the same game. Just buy a controller for your comp. It's worth it in the long run. I think mine was only like $10... and it's identical to the PSX one. So, if you dont wanna buy a PSX but you're dying to play FF7, spend the $30 total instead of the $130 you spend on the system and the game. I'll be sure to check in with you guys and rate it as i progress.

Summary: IT MAY SOUND CHEESY, BUT OVERALL A GREAT GAME
Review: I thought that this particular game's dialogue at times was a bit immature or for a 10 year old. But overall the graphics were intense considering it was made 5 years ago. The cinematic scenes were a bonus, and a break from some of the "corn" dialogue. The summon spells and level breaks animations were a definte must and will be enjoyed by all (especially Cloud's limit level 4). The game play was simple and the controls were a cinch. I highly recommend this game for any diehard rpg fan and a invite to try for the gamers in the sports and action category (I'm pretty sure they'll enjoy it too). The story line ran along the lines of a soap opera and the special bosses gave you a run for your money. Overall this is one at the top of my list, I invite anyone that wants a challenge to come and try it. It starts a little slow, but it will pull you in.

Summary: An awesome game!
Review: Well, I would like to congradulate Squaresoft on a successfull job. This game rocks! Great graphics, nice story line and really cool battle system. A very wide gap between the SNES Final Fantasy III... Squaresoft has a problem... The moment one of their games becomes a success, they make a sequel. The sequel usually sucks. FF8 has good graphics, but the storyline is very lame.

Summary: FF7 Rocks!
Review: Final Fantasy 7 is the BEST game ever created in my opinion. The storyline is nice and comlicated and the materia system is amazing. I love all the veicles, but my favorite is the Highwind. Everything about the game is amazing, from the graphics to the awesome battle music. The characters are well devoloped and each have a very different role in the storyline. The only thing bad about the game is that the music in the computer version isn't very good. This problem isn't there in the Playstation version (the version I have) however. This game is THE game to get!

Summary: Why Is This An RPG?
Review: I don't get why this game is in the RPG section. It was fun,and I want to give it four stars, but it really isn't a RPG. Notice,RPG = ROLE PLAYING game. This is an adventure game. You never make major-story-altering events, there are no ways to push the world to the limits, become a bandit be a great hero, you are just a group of people railroaded from one location to the other. Sure there are secret areas, but that's not roleplaying. FF XI should be fun, online will MAKE people roleplay. Play this game as an adventure and you'll love it, the story is fun.. END

Summary: Review for those who want the scoop.
Review: Alright, Final Fantasy 7. What a game, but why? Well first of all, it is in one of the oldest RPG families around. FF's have been with us for what seems like forever, and has given people a lot of time to get hooked on the wonderful stories and original gameplay. But this review is on the 7th not those others so here's the facts:

It's a ropleplaying game (RPG) And so being is very story driven. Picture this, you are in a world both very different and very similar to our own. The world is basically ruled by a huge company (Shinra) which gets it's kicks from draining the earth of it's life-force, and using that energy to power, well everything (here money=kicks). Around you are bizzare contraptions that are mechanical in nature, but run on mystical energy, giving the game a kind of mix of sci-fi and fantasy.

You start as Cloud, and elite fighter belonging to SOLDIER (a special forces unit of the Shinra company) turned butt-kicking, huge sword weilding, mercenary, who really only cares about getting a buck or two to keep food on the table.

Enter AVALANCHE a sort of mis-guided Greenpeace (in this context that is a VERY loose analogy) that is using terrorist methods to stop Shinra from killing the earth. You need money, they need to blow things up, so hey, your hired. And so it starts, but let me tell you the plot almost immediately starts taking some pretty wild turns, making it one of the most immersive games I've ever played.

Yeah, it's classified as an RPG, but there honestly is so much more. I'm sure you've heard that "rushing" through it you get 30 hours of gameplay. That is totally plot, with a little leveling in between, but there is just SO much stuff to do the only reason you would want to rush through like that is if you are making a walkthrough or something for the game. You get to participate in tons of little side games that really are games in themselves. I remember spending literally HOURS just trying to get the best Chocobo so I could win the racing game. The graphics are just amazing. Really stunning. The cutscenes fit perfectly into the plot, with almost no loading times, and when it ends, you are right where it left you. And, perhaps best of all, ever get to the end of a game for an anticlimatic sequence? Feel cheated by the company for not giving the end some of the magic the rest of the game had? Well, I take back what I said about only rushing through the game for one thing, you'll want to see the end of this one over and over. In the end a beatiful game, in story, graphics, character development, and pure fun this will have you hooked the moment you go bomb your first Shinra building. Perhaps the one thing I could complain about is the music, they could have done better than midi, but hey, I guess its sort of nostalgic to all the other older FFs. Good luck, and may the Mako energy be with you.

Summary: Amazing
Review: This game has wonderful characters that you actually care for as the game progresses. The action is great and so are the special effects. You have to learn to master magic(materia) and you can't wait to see how the story ends. I highly recommend this game! I've never played anything like it.

Summary: Nice game!
Review: This truly is a great game. Granted, FF8 is better in graphics, but it can get really confusing when you need something right then and there. Also, when I loaded the game, the videos were upside down! I went to eidos snd fixed the problem with a patch. NOW, the videos are great, the midis run smoothly, and the gameplay is excellent.

Summary: Overated but worth the play
Review: This game has excellent characters and character depth - the best RPG around in that department. Unfortunately, the turn-based combat can grow very annoying by being sprung on you every 5 to 15 seconds whenever you're in a dangerous place. This timing system is especially annoying on the World Map when the timing is reduced from 5 to 10 seconds. This is a real downer in the game as the turn-based combat isn't even all that engaging and can grow quite tedious at times. However, with all that being true the game will just go on and on and is ideal if you want a long-term adventure. But be warned, don't expect to be entertained if you like atmospheric games. Anyone who hates 'cute' games should keep well away from this.
