Summary: Surprised
Review: I saw the good things people were saying especially because there was negative stuff too. That made it interesting. Im glad I did - unexpected fun. Great game.

Summary: More than pleasantly surprised
Review: I was amazed at how few problems I had after seeing reports in other forums about this game. But it loaded and ran so smoothly I was waiting for something to go wrong. But it didn't. I really thought it was more than OK especially when my expectations were not that high. I ended up really liking it and showing my favorite parts to my nephews who loved it too. They now play it over and over and really enjoy it.

Summary: Loved this game
Review: I would like to complain that there are not enough animations in this game and they are too short because I really loved them. They were excellent. I wish someone would make a movie out of this story so I could just watch it. Still, the puzzles were really weird and I liked that (I really tried not to look in the solution guide unless I was really stuck). So I am glad they were there all the same. Please, can I have some more.

Summary: Entertaining
Review: The story is about a missing father who is caught up in his work. He is so caught up he is now missing. You have to go find him. There is nothing dangerous or particularly exotic except some of the inventory items are a little strange (blue bananas and shoes that dance by themselves). This game does not take itself too seriously. While it is tongue in cheek most of the time and thankfully no juvenile toilet humor, you can miss some of the lines on first listen. Some of the inventory items are combined which makes things interesting and there are some red herrings you may not get to use even by the end of the game.

There are some puzzles, but they are not the kind that are just put in with no connection to the location or story. They use items you have to place or use somewhere else. They are not particularly hard.

The characters are quite nicely done and have some unusual things to say. The little lizard who accompanies you probably has the most to say of anyone in the game, but the best are when he talks to the parrot in the cage. I won't spoil it by telling you where. All in all, an interesting and pleasant game that lets you explore and keeps you entertained.

Summary: Knocked me out
Review: The visuals are amazing. I have never seen stuff like this. This is my kind of game. At first I wondered what the heck I got into, but it just kept getting more and more unusual especially if you start messing around back stage and get into some of the other worlds instead of going where your supposed to. I like trying to figure out strange places. Even when they give you answers, your not sure what they mean. I hate it when you have to read pages and pages of explaining instead of just going into the game. This would make a great animated movie too.

Summary: Breaks the mold
Review: This game definitely breaks the mold. It makes fun of a lot of conventions with it's inventory and weird locations. Elevator music in the butterfly lobby. There's even luggage. But then there's these transparent characters who seem to come in pairs and talk to each other and don't seem to know who you are. But who are they??? So strange. This is so out there. I loved this because it is so different! Excellent!

Summary: Save your money unless they come out with a patch
Review: This game has done nothing but misbehave. First it did not want to load my saved game so I started over again. Second time around it was OK. Then the game blacked out on me at the same point every time, I uninstalled and installed again but the same thing kept happening. The Adventure Company has no on-line help, you have to e-mail them. I could not find a patch either. I am probably going to e-mail them to see what happens but basically I have written it off. I have all the requirements needed according to the box(XP etc.).

The little I played was disappointing and very confusing, the best thing they could do was to give a solution guide along so you can check if you are really just confused or does the game go somewhere?? I never got past the 2nd chapter so who knows?? Graphics are very cartoon like but then I am used to Myst, Syberia and other top of the line games. I could live with that if other features would make up for it, but that is not the case.

Summary: Corny and made little sense to me
Review: This game was just bizzare. I rarely laughed at the corny humor that saturates the gameplay--I usually rolled my eyes. I thought the navigation was illogical and frustrating as well. This is one of those games that I forced myself to finish, and was glad when it was over. Still, it had enough challenge in it to keep me going, so it wasn't a total waste. I've definitely played worse games (like Conspiracies).

Summary: A Frustrating Game
Review: This is a very frustrating game. I have a good computer system and have never had the difficulties I encountered playing this game, i.e., very "jerky" maneuvering movements; highly sensitive Navigation Cursor in that you go to another area without wanting to and have to return; "Saved Games" not loading at times; having to reboot due to freezing or blacking out of the scene.

This could be a fun game as the concept and some of the characters are good, particularly the lizards but the frustration is not worth it.

Summary: Great game
Review: This is an addicting game. I found it very hard to stop. I could compare it to some older games but I think this is different enough to stand on it's own. The video scenes with the condor and the butterflies and the bee are some of the best I've seen. Great graphics. This is also a truly magical game with a really original story. I recommend Get It! 5 out of 5 any time any where.
