Rating: Summary: OS/2 Warp Operating System Review: A stable, smooth running OS. I currently have it installed on an all - SCSI computer I built. The big problem is hardware driver availability. If you want the convenience of a near - monopoly software maker, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want a better OS, it's probably worth searching for the right parts. And I DO stress SEARCH. Make sure that all of your parts (sound card, video card, modem, etc) have OS/2 drivers available. Once that's done, you'll be in for some pretty crash - resistant computer sessions. You WILL like this OS once you use it.
Rating: Summary: No more BSOD! Review: Sick of Microsoft's Blue Screen Of Death? Get Warped! Internet apps, Voice Navigation, and Warp is MUCH easier to use than that *other* OS. I would NEVER consider using ANY Microsoft OS again after using OS/2!

Rating: Summary: First class operating system choice Review: Version 4 is still more stable and reliable than the previous version. Easy install with a nice GUI, this fine OS is Internet-ready and of course, LAN-ready. It talks with MACS, Unixes, Netware and Windows without a problem. If you need Windows 3.x emulation, there is a specific environment for this application, without GPF errors of course. IBM makes periodic releases of collections of fixes (a.k.a Fixpacks) through Internet for free.
