Rating: Summary: Great Desktop Linux Review: I haven't used a lot of other GNU/Linux distrobutions, but I have used a few, including Red Hat. I find Mandrake 9.1 to be an extremely user-friendly GNU/Linux distrobution. I not only use it at work every day (as a software developer), but it's the exclusive operating system on all three of my home systems, including my server (web, cvs, ...). Mandrake, like all GNU/Linux distrobutions, is great for development, but it also has great tools that make it good for simple desktop usage as well.9.1 is a great improvement over Mandrake 9.0.

Rating: Summary: Wow Review: I've run sevral diffrent flavors of Linux including Slackware, Debain and Red Hat, and by far my favorite is Mandrake. If you're saying "But everyone uses Red Hat" Then you'll miss out on the more home user targets tools that Mandrake has to offer. Also you can get the latest version of mandrake for "free" at www.mandrakelinux.com
