Rating: Summary: XP - No eXPerence required or Color eXPlosion Review: Although I have used many versions of Windows, I have found this one the easiest to use of them all. They have changed many things in Windows XP, although some familiar, most seemed strange and mysterious. The colors have been changed drasticlly ( When you first start up a fresh install, you are greeted by a Green Start Button and a Blue Taskbar ) as well as curves in places there were no curves. This final build (2600) is polished and works well with MOST of my other applications. My Roller Coaster Tycoon: Loopy Landscapes doesn't work, but Windows displayed a rather friendly error msg, and offered to link me to the publisher's site. All in all, a good product, ...

Rating: Summary: Are you eXPerienced? :) I am! Review: This is truly the best Windows EVER! Ever since I ordered the preview, I have been VERY impressed. :) Windows XP is more secure, reliable, and BOOTS FASTER than any other version of Windows. The install is FAST....in about 30 mins its in your computer ready to go. The lock-ups, system freezes, crashes, and BLUE-SCEENS are HISTORY! Windows XP now has a feature that will NOT let you install drivers for hardware that are NOT "digitally signed" in order to prevent problems/conflicts with other hardware. The Remote Desktop/Remote Assistance feature will help any beginner solve their own computer problems by allowing a friend connect to their computer, and their friend can see YOUR screen just as if they are seated at your computer! The opposite applies. I have connected, and people have connected to my computer from across the city, country, and even in the other side of the world! Remote Desktops/Remote Assistance also featured in HOME EDITION of Windows XP truly is the most useful features I have come across. Other features such as FAST user switching, allowing multiple accounts which can be personalized on the same computer make Windows XP a winner! A final word about "Product activation" as I said for Windows XP HOME EDITION. Product activation is to STOP PIRACY. You do NOT have to give out "personal" information this is OPTIONAL for registration purposes. Product activation can be done over the www or by calling a toll-free number. Its quick, easy and painless. :)Windows XP....truly the BEST version of Windows.....EVER! So order today, and GET eXPerienced! I am already eXPerieced, are you? :)

Its quick, easy and painless. :) So what are you waiting for? BUY IT! You wont regret it, I am not, since I am using it at home. :)
Rating: Summary: XP is the BEST Review: I am currently running my computer under Microsoft's XP Pro Release Candidate 1. It's amazing. My computer runs a lot faster now and really brings out the glory of the Intel Pentium 4. In my opinion, the best new feature is its stability. For the 3 months that I've had this operating system, it hasn't crashed once! I've forgotten what the blue screen of death looks like. The new user interface is also a nice change, but if you don't like it, you can go back to the old interface with the click of a button. All of these people who are afraid of giving private information to Microsoft shouldn't be. You don't have to send them any personal information to activate you new OS. Only when you register do you have to give private information, but registration is optional. I would highly recommend this new operating system to everyone.
Rating: Summary: "Maquilage" Review: I'm using Windows XP Professional (preview version) and it looks pretty nice. The software is practically the same Win2000, but with a colorfull interface, with the look of a Teletubbies episode. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: Very impressive new operating system by Microsoft. Definately worth the cost. This version is much more stable, compatible, and secure than any prior version of Windows.
Rating: Summary: Windows XP Rocks!!! Review: I have been using Microsoft Windows XP (beta 2, RC1, and RC2) for several months now and have been thoroughly impressed with the stability, features, and security of this awesome operating system. This product is definately worth purchasing. Way to go Microsoft!!!
Rating: Summary: Microsoft's Best OS Yet! Review: Although I have not used the final release version of Windows XP Professional, I can definately say that Windows XP is Microsoft's finest release of its Windows operating system. Not only does WinXP have a refined interface, it also has improved compatibilty over Windows 2000 and improved reliablity over Windows 9x/ME. There has been some concern over the Product Activation--I honestly do not see what the big deal is--no personal information is being transmitted to Microsoft; only a randomly generated code that contains your computer's hardware configuration (which, chances are, even you don't know!). I definately recommend this product to anyone whose computer has the ability to run it. And, if you do not like the new interface (i.e., the new start menu, taskbar, window title bar, etc.) you can switch it back to display like Windows 2000/NT/ME/9x.
Rating: Summary: Excellent OS!!! A+ Review: Microsoft finally did a big jump after introduction of Win95. WinXp has really cool features. Installation is very easy and after you install it you can easily connect to internet. I was using WinME, it had problems related with DOS programs. But, WinXP is better to use old-DOS programs. The "Compatibility Wizard" helps you to run old Windows (win9x) programs if they fail to run under WinXp. The User interface is friendly. However!!! Windows XP has some disadvantages. First of all it requires 128MB ram and 1.5 GB hard disk to run smoothly. The next problem is WPA. You need to activate your windows in 14 days. When you activate your windows, the CD-KEY you used became a permanent part of your hardware. If you change your computer's hardware too much you will not able to activate from Internet. You need to CALL Microsoft to get some kind of PERMISSION :-((((( . I think this new feature is very unuseful and will harm most of the innocent consumers. It is up to you to use WinXP, but I like the features except WPA! I will recommend this OS.
