Description:

PowerQuest DeployCenter 5.0 (formerly Drive Image Pro) dramatically reduces the time and effort it takes to roll out or upgrade computer systems. With DeployCenter 5.0, you can deploy an exact image of a hard disk, distribute new software applications in just minutes, and manage multiple workstation images--from anywhere in the world through a secure Web interface. To maintain user productivity and uptime, you can even schedule these tasks to occur after work hours. In addition, DeployCenter 5.0 sends an alert via e-mail when the task has been successfully completed, allowing you to focus your attention on other things while DeployCenter does the work.

Small- to enterprise-size organizations can use DeployCenter 5.0 to remotely manage multiple clients; deploy or upgrade Windows workstations; create a standard, customized work environment for faster deployment of new computers; easily introduce new systems to the network; and automatically distribute and install new software applications or upgrades across the network and the Internet.

Other features include PowerQuest ControlCenter ST, a secure Web console that acts as a central point to intelligently create, schedule, and execute PC management tasks. PXE and Wake-On-LAN allow you to introduce new systems to the network--without having to physically visit workstations--through support for Intel's Wired for Management (WfM) technology. DeltaDeploy automates software distribution, installation, and configuration across the network and the Internet. Virtual Floppy eliminates the need for boot disks by providing a DOS floppy boot environment on users' hard disk partitions. Support for CD-R and CD-R/W lets you create an image directly to a SCSI or ATAPI CD-R or CD-RW drive (MMC-2 compliant).
