Summary: Not near as good as it could be.
Review: I got this as a gift from Amazon.com. I have been using Axialis Screen Saver Producer 3.5 which can use gifs, any type picture and audio file as well as Flash and other type videos. This program is so limited and Screen Saver Producer is about the same price. Compare the two before you buy. I do professional graphics, so take it for what it's worth.

Summary: Not near as good as it could be.
Review: This program is great for first time Screen Saver designers. It does all the work for you, including the creation of an installer so that you may distribute your screen saver to friends and family. There is a fee, however, if you wish to sell your screen saver. Screen Creator is fast, efficient and very easy to understand. The toughest thing you will have to do is scan in photos and choose images or sound. It takes a bit of time to understand all the fade in and fade out options, which are almost limitless when the variables of speed, color, image and text are applied to them. Otherwise, this program allows you to create a professional looking screensaver in a short amount of time. There are only 2 drawbacks to this program. The first being that once you create the screen saver, there is no option for turning the sound on or off. I guess though, you can just turn your sound off on your computer, but that is somewhat inconvenient. The second drawback is that you don't have the option to create a screen saver that runs exactly the same way on all computers, due to so many variables. For example, a screen saver that I created on an 833 mhz processor ran far too slow on a 350 mhz processor and way too fast on a 900 mhz processor, causing the graphics and sound NOT to run as I had planned. If there was a way to compensate for processor speeds this would be the best program that I've used for creating and sharing screensavers. Ultimately, it is best to use this program to create screensavers for yourself or people using exactly the same computer as you. But,I have already recommended this to many people! It is definitely worth the money!
