Summary: Game Review and System Requirements
Review: This game will go down in History as one of the best MMORPG's of its time. 4 gigabytes of massively online multiplayer terrain, combat, and role-playing scenarios. I would suggest this game to anyone with a knack for fantasy/midieval, role-playing, or shear love of online games. Account fee is $15 monthly. Each account can support 8 characters between different realms. Decide between 4 Allaince races and 4 Horde races. Pick a classes from Rogues, Warriors, Hunters, Warlocks, Shaman, and the list goes on. Test your skills in multiple Professions including Mining, Fishing, Skinning, Engineering, Blacksmithing and more.

What are the game's system requirements?

Windows® System 98/ME/2000/XP OS:

- 800 MHz or higher CPU
- 256 MB or more of RAM
- 32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better
- 4 GB or more of available hard drive space
- DirectX® 9.0c or above
- A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection

Mac® System OS X 10.3.5 OS:

- 933 MHz or higher G4 or G5 processor
- 512 MB RAM or higher; DDR RAM recommended
- ATI or NVIDIA video hardware with 32 MB VRAM or more
- 4 GB or more of available hard drive space
- MacOS X 10.3.5 or newer
- 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection

Review: well... no one yet seems to have actually reveiwed the games so here's my 2 cents.

since any information has been realeased i have been tracking it so I know most of the released information. you can pick from 8 races each has a different set a classes to choose from my favorite PALADIN! this is an mmorpg which means massively multiplayer online role playing game. You can adventure in massive worlds killing monsters participating in pvp(player versus player) finding legendary items creating items using tradeskills, and much more to find out more go to www.worldofwarcraft.com which is blizzards official site

Summary: Best MMORPG to date
Review: WoW is a great game. Polished, easy to play, and thoroughly enjoyable. For those of you who've played Diablo 2, you will find this game very similar to it. Better leveling experience, and lots more things to do. More races and classes to choose from than Diablo. Compared to other MMORPGs (everquest, FF 11, City of Heroes), WoW is the only one that has a consistent FUN factor. You simply will just want to go home and play as soon as you are off work/school!

You don't need to be a veteran to play this game, it's engaging at every level. Even if you are brand new, you will find WoW to be a excellent experience.

The only problems so far has been of servers. There is simply too many people playing on some of the older servers. But blizzard is trying to compensate. You are not limited to how many characters you can have (FF 11) or which server to create them on (FF 11). So if you find your first server to be full of jerks or unstable, no problem, just create a new character on a different server. Blizzard will recommend the best server that is suited to where you are.

Seriously, there's nothing else like WoW out there, in terms of its plability, well balanced character development, or the rich culture already in existance from the Warcraft universe. Go buy one (now that they are in stock again)!!

Summary: Blizzard's first attempt at a MMORPG is its finest work
Review: WoW is the most fun MMORPG to date, no questions asked. City of Heroes is dying (yes, i have left CoH for WoW), EQ2 is nothing, WoW reigns supreme. Here are the pluses for WoW.

+Beautiful environements
+Excellent musical score
+Quests give a substantial amount of xp and give awesome rewards (loot)
+Huge starting cities offer mail boxes, auction houses and anything else you could think of.
+No xp grinding.
+Very populated world makes it a very fun world. Walking into an auction house with 50 people bidding on loot is always fun.
+Diablo related skill tree system.
+No lag

Now for the cons

-Limited character creation features (slightly better then EQ)
-Graphics could be better, however they do satisfy.
Hmmmm...I can't think of any other cons, can you?

For the people who are lagging I suggest upgrading your pc or getting a faster connection. I have an AMD 64 3200 and this game runs smoothe as butter. Haven't had lag since I've been playing. And for the parent below who didn't know you had to pay to play, look at the system specs on the box. It tells you that the first month is free but then you will be charged monthly to play.

I give this game a 9.5 out of 10. (-0.5 for lack of character creation features and graphics)

Summary: Perfect game marred by server and customer service issues
Review: WoW is the perfect MMO. It has everything the competition has plus brillant ideas like the mailbox system and auction house. The soundtrack is top notch as are the graphics. If you've played WC3 you'll feel right at home. It runs smoothly on a variety of systems thanks to the powerful video option menu, heh try running EQ2 on a sub par system.
That being said at this current time there is some lag problems specially in capital cities. There are also some minor to moderate class bugs for certain classes which blizzard is being very slow to address. They seem to have incompetent patch people and there is very poor communication between the developers and the players. The board moniters never seem to know what is going on.
All things said though, every MMO has lag and bug issues for the first few months. The lag of communication is even more vexing but I am confident that blizzard will streamline things in time as this is their first MMO. WoW is still the greatest MMORPG ever made and shall be for some time. I highly recomend it.
Oh and please if your going to join an RP server, then RP if not thats what the PvE servers are for. Thanks
