Summary: It is a great game
Review: I think this a great game because: 1. You can choose what you want to be (org, human) 2. The game has a plot and is relatively long and difficult 3. You can play against real people on line or you could play your freinds threw a phone line

Summary: This is just an expansion pack
Review: You can only play this game against another player. You need the WARCRAFT II original CD to play this against the computer. This is nothing more than an expansion pack for the original Warcraft II. If I had known this before I purchased, I never would have purchased it.

For the record, I agree with everything everybody has said about Warcraft, and someday I might want to play vs. another human or orc, I would like to hone my skills vs my Dell.

Summary: Perfection.
Review: This is the greatest collection of RTS games there is. Warcraft1 was the first RTS I had ever played, and in it's day, it was GREAT!! but it soon gave way to Warcraft 2. War2 is/was/will-forever-be the best. It combined the great challange of the RTS format without getting the gamer lost in endless lists of pointlessly innumerous units. War2 struck the perfect ballance between simplicity and complexity. War1 didn't have enough units on roster to pick from, while other RTS games have too many different unit types to chose from, many with rather insignificant changes. War2 Beyond the dark portal did nothing but further it's companion, By addind new .pud's for the gamer to play, and a new set of campains with new challanges and increased difficulty, it breathed more life into it's far from dieing world. All in All, Warcraft is the best Real Time Strategy on the market, in it's day AND today.

Summary: GREAT GAME !!
Review: This game is great. If you have surround sound this game is even better, than. The graphics are okay, but the game mostly rely on it's game play for it's popularity. The best thing about this game is the online battles, I love to battle online againest players all over the world. I still think that the human race need some better fighters though. after all, this is a good game. If you haven't played yet try it. Yes, this game is like starcraft, excepted it uses swords instead of guns.

Summary: Absolute Rubbish
Review: This game has to be the worst game I have played on in a very long time.I would give this game 0/10 for playability and just advise you to not go near this game even if you have a 10foot barge pole.Basically just stay away and dont waste your money!!!

Summary: Could do better
Review: This game could do alot better than it really did. It takes way to long to build something or to train something. But it has a good storyline where its humans against orcs. I do enjoy watching them battle it out and ending in a gory death. The land isnt detailed enough. What this game lacks is details.

Summary: A great leap forward in the evolution of RTS games.
Review: In this set, you will find what most RTS games were like in their infancy by playing the original Warcraft. The differences between that and Warcraft II will show you how Blizzard has earned a reputation as a good game developer. The included expansion pack adds more depth by adding heroes, levels, and new challenges. Their follow-up RTS game Starcraft is another example of their quality offerings.

Summary: Great!
Review: This game is very interesting. I never played Warcraft 2 for more than 30 minutes before I bought it. I really got into it. But then you play the second race. They are the same. If you want to play this and Starcraft. Play StarCraft second, so then you won't find this one at times mundane. Yet it still gets kudos from me. Just play Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal with your favorite LOOKING race. Take into consideration the annoying Orc voice. Still good. Does not need to rely on graphics.

Summary: A little speed, a lot of lag.
Review: I have been a fan of warcraft for quite some time now, and it only seemed fitting to by the latest version. If you seek to buy this game for it's multiplayer options, please reconsider! While playing on battle net one will encounter a fair amount of lag, and to be honest, a large amount of lag! The multiplayer options however on IPX are rather improved.

There have been a few new add-ons as well. The game speed can be adjusted to a fast paced FRENZY, and there has been a new backgorund. We are all famaliar with the forest, wasteland, and snow.... but blizzard is now offering the ORC WASTELAND. The orc wasteland is rather disgusting though... Trees have been replaced by rather large mushrooms and the goldmines look like "mud globs". There are no further add-ons, sorry guys.

Now, this game is a must! I may be a bit of a disapointment however. I was expecting a bit more, but I am still impressed. Buy this game only, and only if you love warcraft and you're looking for a fast paced game.

Thank you.

Summary: A great hit from Blizzard!
Review: This my favourite (and only) videogame.I love a lot this game which blends in a great way warfare,Tolkien (which i adore)and empire-making and preserving.A great addiction is the map-editor which permits to you to create your personal scenarios .And most of all this is a game of reasoning, you always have to develop very good and forward-looking strategies to achieve final victory. The graphics are good enough.Very good game!
