Rating: Summary: Good, addictive game Review: The thing about diablo 2 is that it is one of the best, and most addictive, games ever. You can say all you want about how it is all hack and slash and repeats and the bad graphics, but when it comes down to the enjoyment of the gamer, this is the game. I recieved this game 3 years ago, and today, I still play it over new games that have been very highly rated. I recently recieved Tony Hawk Underground, Return of the King, Eye Toy, and NBA Street vol. 2, and yet this was the game which I was playing the next day, trying to get better. Diablo has kept my attention so long for many reasons. First is the incredibly addictve gameplay No matter how good you are, you can always get better, and this creates a constent need to get better. Whether it's stats, skills, or weapons, there is always an improvment to get. The quests are simply a side thought, but they are still helpful. And the hacking just adds on to the fun, because even though it is fun to not cheat, sometimes you just want to go out and destroy all those characters that are giving you so much trouble in the real game. Overall, great game, so don't get it if you want to (your loss), but if you do consider it, stop looking at all the technical stuff and just buy it. The technical stuff tells you nothing, but just playing this game is as fun as a videogame will get.
Rating: Summary: Sometimes you need to look beyond appearances Review: Some people think Diablo 2 just isnt a good game because the graphics cant compare to anything thats out now, but sometimes you just want a game thats easy to get into and is fun, diablo 2 in the game. Since the patch was also released recently, there are also many new items, increased skill power, and better drops more often. it doesnt take long to get in to. the only problem with the patch are a few bugs but if u know how to get by, they wont be a problem.
Rating: Summary: Stands the test of time Review: While many other games have come and gone from my hard drive, Diablo 2 Expansion stays. Why? This game doesn't have the best story, the best graphics, or the best gameplay. It doesn't have a flexible save or party-based system, and frankly it's very difficult on the heavier settings. So why??? Because the online Diablo community (through Battle.net) is probably the best online game community there is? Because the item and party combinations are infinite? Because of the huge cast of spells, skills, characters available, and monsters? Maybe... but actually I think the secret is in the fact that Diablo 2 is not the best at any single thing it does -- it's simply really good at everything. It's the perfect balance of being intriguing without requiring too much commitment. I can sit down and play for four hours or four minutes and I'm satisfied every time. Eventually, the answer becomes elusive -- but the one fact is that I've owned this game for years and I still play it at least once a week. If that doesn't mean this game is one of the greatest ever made, I don't know what does.
Rating: Summary: updated to make sure you die alot Review: I had a lot of fun with this game until they "updated"it to make sure you die alot and have to spend all the money you don't lose when die to buy healing potions I am selling my game and getting something else to play.

Rating: Summary: You idiots! Wake up! Review: if it was an option given i would have given this game zero stars! This was the stupidest game ever made! Maybe it was better back then, but now its just stupid. The graphics stink, and If your a Christian, let me tell u this is a very insulting game. I suggest it only if u have a comp that came from 1995. I bet no one does. So all u plz don't buy this. if u want a good game, get dungeon siege:Legends of Aranna(releases November 11, 2003), Dungeon Siege 2(sometime in May 2005), or Never Winter Nights, Shadows of Undrentide(already out). If u plan On getting Shadows of Undrentide, get Never Winter Nights first. Undrentide is an expansion pack and wont work without Never Winter Nights.Whatever you do, don't get Diablo 2 or its expansion. It's not much now to anyone and it's crap. Just don't buy it. no one's even online for it. Well, not many people, that is. If u guys get Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna or Dungeon Siege 2 I'll see u online. I have Never Winter Nights but not the expansion. I don't plan on getting it either. but their coming out with A second Never Winter Nights and I'll probably get that. Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna is also an expansion for Dungeon Siege 1 but I read about it online and Dungeon Siege 1 will come with the expansion when u buy it according to its official website. And one more thing: Dungeon Siege is the best game ever and Dungeon Siege 2 will be even better! My username will probably be dungeonsieger34. Plz get one of them. I'm Definatly getting Dungeon Siege 2 unles its rated Mature. My mother won't let me get it then. :( But I saw an ad for it and it looks sot of like Lord of the Rings which was rated Teen. So was Dungeon Siege 1 And Legends of Aranna. so I'll definatly get it if its rated Teen. I can't wait to meet all of you reading this! (ok that was corny) DIABLO 2 STINKS!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: im sry to say but... im an addict Review: This game blows every blizzard game away. The single player is ok and good i think to get started on but it just aint enough. Bnet is the way to play to actually feel the ways of diablo. A breif overview of diablo2 lord of destruction's bnet is it is the equivilant of herion to a herion addict for a PC gamer. You will also here things from your friends and parents like "You play too much" or "Your too obsessed with that game" and you will here your self saying " too much is 18 hours a day i only play 16" and "im not obsessed im addicted". well this concludes this review c'all there (...).
Rating: Summary: Act V: The Lord of Destruction Review: "Lord of Destruction," Blizzard's official and much-touted expansion to "Diablo II" is certainly a mixed bag. While it provides many new features and an entire new Act in which you, the hero of the land, take on the Prime Evil Baal, to get the most out of your money you had better be willing to play through the game a second time (or more). Purchasing "Lord of Destruction" merely to give the new Act a run-through is worth considering, since the new adventure is quite enjoyable, but your experience will be so brief you will almost surely wonder whether or not you actually got your money's worth. Aside from the story-finishing new quest, you will get two new playable character classes. The Assassin is a powerful character (good for newbies) with a knack for katars and deadly traps, and the Druid is a hulking man of nature who can transform at will into werebears and other ferocious creatures. Both of these classes are excellent additions, and easily surpass some of the original game's selections. Each new character comes complete with brand new character specific items that can be found in both the original game and its fifth Act. Likewise, character classes from the original game can find items tailor made for them in their quest to rid the world of Baal. Also noteworthy is the new resolution, which greatly enhances the look of the game - but should have been available in the original "Diablo II" release. As far as the fifth and final Act of "Diablo II" is concerned, it's easily the best one yet created for the game. The levels, both exterior and interior, are much more realistically designed, and are packed with details that add to the ambience. The new snowscape, homeland of the Barbarian, is the setting for "Lord of Destruction," and it's different enough from the previous realms to keep things fresh. The new enemies are likewise inspiring - though you'll lament the inclusion of the game's teleporting Imps, which spell lots and lots of frustrating busy work for melee fighters. Unfortunately, despite the new Act's many virtues, it's too bloody short. In fact, this Act feels considerably shorter than the first three, and only slightly longer than the fourth. It's a shame, since the six quests you do undertake will be some of the best you've yet experienced in the game. In the end, if you have aspirations of going through the game's five acts from start to finish with a brand new character, "Lord of Destruction" is for you. It feels like you're paying a little too much if you tackle it any other way. Even so, the snowy adventures that await your avatar here are some of the best and most visceral you have yet experienced. Truly a mixed bag. Final Score: B-
Rating: Summary: Best game i ever played on pc Review: This is an exciting 3rd person real time action rpg. When u first star this game u get to choose a name for ur character and then choose the character: Amazon, Assasian, Barbarian, Sorceress,Druid, Necromancer, and Padiln. You then go on quests and get differant weapons and armor and rings and amulets and boots and belts and charms and well i think thats enough. You can really feal that ur fighting evil in this game cuase well.. the guys u kill look evil. There are all these kool spells for sorceress and its a dungeon kill fest. If u like killing things and getting exp. for it ur in luck. The battle net is really fun cause u can play the normal campiagn with ur friends or kill cows( helbovines) which is really entertaing. The sound it good could b better though but who cares. as long as its a good game it doesnt matter wat it looks or sounds like. But the grafics are really good. Overall i give this game a 9.... because its so fun and addicting. GET THIS GAME if u dont then :รพ
Rating: Summary: Depends on what you want, I thought there would be more Review: if you're looking for better graphics, you will love this expansion set. It does come with an extra group of levels. But frankly, for the money, I expected more unique levels to play. The added features to characters makes playing more enjoyable. If I were to revisit this purchase, I'd hold back funds and wait for the next version of Diablo. It's a great PC-game series, adventure and active, without forcing a player with klutzy fingers to fire/swipe and sway the fastest on the planet.
