Summary: Diablo 2 Expansion: Lord of Destruction
Review: At first I thought, ah just another add on. Since I installed this and started playing I have forgotten what other software I own. I also just started playing on Battle.net and it to adds a whole new dimension. This revitalized Diablo II and now the whole family is playing again.

Summary: Not up to par
Review: I own every Blizard game ever made and I have never been as disappointed as I was with Diablo II and the expansion. It is exactly like the original with nothing to offer that would make it worth of the original. So save you money and look to anouther game. This is the one Blizard game I wish I did not own.

Summary: Great... But not too different from D2
Review: I was almost going to give it 5 stars...
But there is not too much more than the original...

True, runes make it fun... And The 2 new characters look good... The new resolution 800x600 is also better, but overall it is pretty much the same as D2. I would have expected a bigger improvement... More changes to the game...

A couple of new worlds... not just 1 new world.

But don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it a lot. I played with the assassin. And I tried to find as many runes as possible to check out the combinations and extra powers.

So if you liked D2, this is even better. If you haven't played D2 I highly reccomend buying the Battle chest (both products) And play The expansion right away.

Summary: Good but...
Review: I got this game and loved it. Lots of new extras and two new charecters. But, the problem is how the game ends. Its a big let down. I had hoped for more. All in all not a bad game and worth the price, but it could have been better...

Summary: Good Game With Lots of Problems
Review: When it works, this is the greatest game I've ever played. But there are 2 major things wrong. The real fun of this game is BattleNet multiplayer action. Unfortunately, BattleNet is down once in a while (when I have the time to play) or it goes down in the middle of a game. Then there's bad lag often. Or when they delete one of your characters even when you've played it more recently than the stated 90 day period. Yet, I remain hopeful that these things will get better.

But the BIGGEST problem is what they've done with CD-ROM copy protection. Because of it, the game can take a long time to start, or not start at all. Many times it says that I don't have the CD in even when I do. ...have the ORIGINAL CD in the drive. I suspect that's why this game crashes more than any other I've ever run. Under Windows 98 it crashed A LOT. ...less under Windows 2000. The Expansion Set crashes more than Diablo 2 did.

I'm noticing more game CDs that I can't make backup copies of. It's no coincidence that those same games are the ones that crash or hang on startup (when they check for non-standard sectors on the CD, I presume). I think game manufacturers should have to put a warning on non-standard CDs.

Summary: Battle.net Only.
Review: Buy this only if you plan on playing on Battle.net (online)
For single player it's just not worth buying. Not much added and i kinda think single player d2 is just plain boring.
Expansion is not bad at all for online gaming but i also kinda think it cost lil more than it should for what they give you.
It's Good, but could have been better. Blizzard makes pretty good quality games, the sad thing however is it takes them
3-5years to make one.
