Summary: Great game, both online and offline
Review: I was always good at starcraft and played it at friend's houses before and I really liked what I saw. After getting used to starcraft, I learned that the expansion made the game a lot better. so, i figured, why not, and I bought it. The expansion with the game is great. I really think this is a great deal- mainly because its a lot of fun, and its cheap. the N64 version is 30 more dollars and its graphics and playing style are worse. the multiplayer is (in my opinion) the best part. after a couple years practice, i became very good and I could battle anybody that stood in my way. Take my advise and buy this game if you want lots of fun.

Review: The map editor is great. You can do so many things with triggers. There are alot of stardraft patchers that bring many more possibilities. Also with some programs you can create your own AI Script. Of all games "Starcraft is the best"

Summary: A Fantastic Game; Highly Addictive
Review: If only all games were as good as Starcraft! Even though it has been out for a number of years, it is still the most fun, addictive, and competitive computer wargame ever invented. The game is played on a 2d (isometric view) map. The game takes place in outer space sometime in the future. You are one of three races competing for control of the universe: the Terrans, who are long lost settlers from Earth; the Protoss, who are a mystical race of energy-based beings ; or the Zerg, who are a nasty insect/reptilian/slimy race. You mine crystals and gas and build buildings, technologies, and military units, not unlike Age of Empires. Each race has different technologies (terrans have things like tanks and Battlecruisers; Protoss have things like Templars, Dragoons, and Zealots; the Zerg have horrible beings (hydralisks, lurkers, Guardians). You battle for board poisition, resources, and to eliminate opponents. What makes Starcraft wonderful is the balance between the races -- each race can win, and the strategies that you evolve to win games can become highly complex. You are constantly "under the gun" to mine, build, fight battles, expand, defend -- if you rest for a moment you will be defeated. The game comes with prepackaged scenarios that are among the best I've ever seen, and the cinematics between scenarios are simply fantastic. Even though I have been playing for two years, I still go back and fight the campaigns just to see the storyline of the interactions between the races. After learning the technology, you can play online against opponents ...-- and the games there are very serious. There is nothing more humbling than being thoroughly beaten by an 11 year old Korean kid who is, in this universe, a protoss or Zerg master (Starcraft has a huge following in Korea, where there are even televised tournaments). I play with a group of friends two nights a week, including programmers, network administrators, and other fairly serious computer geeks in their 20s and 30s -- it is a great game to play at any age, though it is a bit violent for the younger ones. I have been hoping for a Starcraft III to come out, but also am worried that they might tinker with the game too much and ruin it. As it is, Starcraft with the Brood War Expansion (the Battle Chest) needs no improvement, it is simply the best game ever.

Review: This is probably one of the best stragey games out there. The Battle Chest Set is a very good deal. It has 2 stragey guids that are worth [money],and Star Craft and the star craft expantion.Both thoes games are worth [money]each. This game will take a while to beat because of all the levels.If you don't like chalenging games, I would not reccomend this game to you.

Review: Starcraft is an awsome game and the expansion set is even better. The Starcraft battle chest is an amazing deal. This would probably cost you at least 35 dollars to buy any were else. And you get everything you could possibly need to play Starcraft. This is a great deal and I reccomend buying it.

Review: This is the best game i have ever played! I swear if u have a taste for war and conquering your enemies, then this is the game for you! There are three amazing races - Terran, Zerg, and Protoss. As you progress, the levels get harder and harder and there are stories behind each of them that tell you what to do. If your like me, then you will buy this game as soon as possible (thats why your reading this review, isnt it?) and you will enjoy it more than any other game you own!!

Review: This is an excellent buy. You are getting 2 quality games, that will lead to endless hours of enjoyment. You have your choice of what type of life form you want, and you have various structures to build, compared to the common medieval games. If you enjoy this type of game, I also highly suggest Age of Empires 2 and the expansion pack and Empire Earth. All highly recommended.
