Rating: Summary: Great Review: Great graphics, amazing gameplay, who couldn't love the story line...only could have possible used a few more cut scenes and movies.
Rating: Summary: Blizzard delivers! Review: Warcraft III is a sort of blend between RTS and RPG. Blizzard knew that the Real Time Strategy genre of gaming needed a breath of fresh air, and it gave us one. Warcraft III is mainly unique in the addition of heroes. While heroes do not make a lot of difference in a skirmish, in the campaigns they prove both indispensable and a lot of fun to play.In previous games, I preferred skirmishing to campaigning, because you didn't have to worry about an annoying set of goals and you just killed stuff. But the new Warcraft has changed my mind completely. The campaigns are more involved, and the characters have their own personalities, which greatly add flavor to your campaign. This game focuses more on strategy in battle and less on army-building. There is a cap on the size of your army (which I thought would be annoying but turns out to be a good thing), and you are forced to make better use of what you have. No more gigantic armies that annihilate the opposition. No, you actually have to work for it. I'm glad that Blizzard added two new races to this game. This provides essentially double the amount of playing-time. The NPCs (non player characters) in this game are also a welcome addition. You can battle dragons, trolls, or ogres, and pillage whatever treasure they may have. You can also buy supplies from a goblin merchant or hire mercenaries. You just have to be careful not to let your peons stray too far--a dire wolf might nab them. Blizzard's games are traditionally very user-friendly and relatively free of bugs. Warcraft III is the next chapter in the Blizzard catalog, and a new revolution in RTS gaming.
Rating: Summary: Solid RTS game that takes a little getting used to. Review: I bought this game hoping to fill up some time while waiting for the Age of Mythology game to be released. Having played the RTS games Age of Kings/Conquerors Expansion, I figured that learning to play WC3 would be no big deal. This game is much faster paced with more emphasis on military unit micro-management. Plus it has the added feature/distraction of trying to manage("level-up") a single special unit called a "hero" at the same time. The graphics also were different from any I had seen in other RTS games, but they are suitable for the fantasy themes of War Craft 3. I highly recommend this game, but if you plan on playing online at Battle.Net, take some time to learn the units, spells, heroes, and the shortcut keys.
Rating: Summary: WARCRAFT 3 Finally!! Review: This game was a long time in waiting, after putting in around 500 hours of gameplay, i still like it. As with all blizzard games i have never been dissapointed, sure its a different style, but it is a different type of game from the previous warcraft and starcraft games which am still playing to this day. so if you are expecting one of those look elsewhere. but if you are a hard core blizzard fan, then this is a must have, the graphics are great, although they run slow at times, most likely due to an old computer system that i own, the gameplay is slower than warcraft and starcraft, but once you get used to it it is actually perfect for the game, all around this is an outstanding game.
Rating: Summary: Best game Blizzard has ever made, PERIOD!!! Review: Ok well, where to start, first off to those out there that hate this game so much and had the nerve to give 2 stars or less are just so ignorant and might not even be good in this game, is there a problem with the 90 food limit? Not really, It didn't disturb me that much, if they had put it unlimited do you know how annoying that could be? What if some ten year old kid just made a huge army of say gryphons or something really cheap, oh but then you would be complaining. There that kicks in with the fact that people don't like the idea of "rushing" early on in the game, what would you like? Would you like people to give you time to build? Oh please that is the worst complaint I have ever heard and I'm sick and tired of it, I will say it right now, this is the best computer game EVER!!! It is, theres nothing I spend more time playing than this game, it is incredible, each race is incredible, and cheapness is not a problem, if your good enough you can counter any race, even as cheap as mass huntresses may be. Warcraft 3 puts part 1 and 2 to shame, it's just too much better. What was that? Did I hear the sound of someone complaining about creeping? That is also a very lame excuse for a really lazy player, creeping requires skill, ok, theres nothing left to be said, it's much funner to creep than to say buy your heros experience off. There is literally nothing more I could ask from Warcraft 3, please do not listen to those very ignorant reviewers giving this game the best strategy game ever made bad reviews, this is the best strategy game and yes it does take strategy to win, if your bad thats one thing but don't complain about how fast people attack, if you can't handle it your the one who needs to change your strategy because obviously it's not good enough, and if you complain about you obviously are the one on the losing end, people need to stop hating on Warcraft 3, it is just amazing. The game has so much versatility and potential it will definately stand the test of time. For those who badmouth Warcraft 3, really, their opinions mean nothing, just ask the millions who play on battlenet. Enough said, I hope I have covered everything here, there is no legit complaint anyone can give about this game, it is one of the greatest, all doubters must face it.

Rating: Summary: worth the money Review: The system requirements are steep, but I I found the plot a little shallow, and there was one mission that for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to win (cheat code) but other than that I had a lot of fun. The dryad and rifleman are especially entertaining to click on repeatedly - they go through a series of sound files and then you hit on some really funny ones. But - - - great music, sweet graphics, cool characters, units, battle system, and buildings. If you were addicted to starcraft buy this. A little less enthralling... but still worth the money.
Rating: Summary: One of the best RTS games ever! Review: When I got this game, I was way excited cuz I had been waiting so long for the next Blizzard release. It is easy to understand the game right when you begin to play if you have played any other rts games before. It has a good story line in the single player version, also. The graphics are good, but they could have done better there. It has a very good battle system, too, because you can switch between the high-lighted units, and still have the whole group selcted, giving you the ability to use that idividual unit. I really like this game, and for those rts fans out there, you won't be disapointed.
Rating: Summary: Top 5 Games EVER Review: This game is a combination of Starcraft and Diablo. There are 4 different races to choose from. While getting resources and building with peasants, you create armies and support them with heroes. Heroes get stronger as they fight so there is constant action, so fast mouse movement and thinking is advised. Besides having a great single player mode, the multiplayer is done nicely by battle.net. You can chat, join ladder games, play team games, and gain levels and experience with your account. It's really unique. This game is very graphic and CPU intensive so a fast CPU (p4) and a good video card (64 mb) as well as plenty of memory (512 mb) is recommended by me for the BEST possible gaming experience.
Rating: Summary: Classic Blizzard Game in 3D Review: Blizzard was wise not to change a good user interface in this game. If you know how to play Star Craft, you will pick this game up in a matter of minutes. The publisher also added a few improvements as necessary for this game. The movies are superb -- still the best in the industry. The gameplay, however, is a litle choppy on my low-end Apple Powerbook. My configuration is a 400Mhz G4 processor, 1 gig RAM, standard video. I set the game in its lowest control settings (low-res, minimal effects, etc.) and it still gets sluggish when the screen gets busy. You really do need a dedicated GAME MACHINE to get the most out of this game. It runs well enough on my laptop, but I know I'm missing out on something by not having a better computer. The game play is pretty fun. I just finished the human campaign, and am now just starting the undead campaign. The game seems to have fizzled out in the first mission at this point. I don't know why, but the intensity seems to have dropped a little. I guess I've grown a little weary of the point-click-attack missions. So far, the game seems to come across as a multi-character Diablo -- but with 3D rendering. I think this is the way to go, but somehow I still find Star Craft to be a bit more fun than War Craft 3 even though it isn't as technicall advanced.
