Rating: Summary: An absolutely, amazing game! Review: WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos is the fourth installment to the classic strategy/action game. It takes gamers beyond the playing field of the previous three games and retains some of the old and well loved lands and units form the other WarCraft games. As many of you know by now, WarCraft III introduces 2 new races which you can control, the Night Elves and the Undead Scourge. Of course the Humans and Orcs are still available to you but the 2 new races move the story along. There are many drastic changes that take place in WarCraft III that were not in the previous three. Blizzard Entertainment is bent on keeping the faith in the WarCraft series by making changes in WarCraft III. For example: 1. You have a limited food cap of 90.(some units use more food than others) 2. Your heroes can receive and use items in their inventory. 3. Human, Orc, Night Elf, and Undead races have special advantages over one another. (Orcs are best melee fighters, Humans are average, etc.) 4. There are many different units available in WarCraft III than the other WarCraft games. They've only kept mabye 2 or 3 units from the previous games. The changes are a bit burdensome at first but you get used to it fast. The overall performance of the game is awesome. The cinematography is spectacular and the textures and graphics on the playing field are astounding. The creatures and units are quickly loved and the heroes themselves are a great feature. Once again you find yourself immersed in the world of WarCraft and once again Blizzard has made something they ougt to be proud of. Keep it coming Blizzard.Bottom Line: WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, reigns over the world of computer gaming.

Rating: Summary: Own it or miss out! An easy choice! Review: Well, what can I say. I have been playing games sense I was born and this one is by far the best. I own EVERY game made by Blizzard and all of the Command & Conquer games, including Generals. But Warcraft 3 is by far the best out of all in many ways. You play as four very different and very unique races, each providing different units and a great opportunity to practice thousands of different strategies. The graphics are amazing. The system requierments aren't that bad for such an awsome game. The detail is icredable. The storyline and use of heros is brilliant beyond beliefe, It makes Starcraft look like nothing. It blows Warcraft 2 out of the water and then some. The game-play is astonishing. If you love any strategy games, or RTS's, you will love this game. Playing online is very fun even long after you have finished the single player campaigns, which by the way are amazing and provide just the right ammount of challenge. The game is fun, so buy it and don't miss out! I can't wait for the expansion, Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne!
Rating: Summary: Single Player Story Line STINKS!!!! Review: I know that the rage now is all those massive online environments where 1000+ people can "play" at once. Hey - it's fun for the kiddies and brings in the bucks w/access charges. However, regardless of how "pretty" the game is, it has got to be fun to play. Warcraft III is NOT fun to play in single player. I found the outcomes of many of the missions to be distinctly non-heroic and they even made me feel embarrassed or disturbed in some cases. Because the game was so scripted out, the player is forced to take actions that put the player in a negative position. Don't get me wrong, the game is a technical marvel - great graphics, smooth action, slick cinematics, but it's no fun. It left me feeling empty and cheated (especially the final mission). Also, I could not identify with the "hero" in many instances. The limitation on the number of units was also irritating because it apparently didn't apply to your opposition and forced you to use tactics alien to the previous Warcraft games - and the tactics of the previous Warcraft games WERE fun. (For example, it was fun to build up your big armies and crush the opposition.) I had really been looking forward to Warcraft III for a long time, thinking it would be a continuation of the previous games. Unfortunately, WC3 only vaguely resembles the earlier versions and, at least in the single player version, the fun is gone. I have bought and played every Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo game (even went through all three levels), and this is the first time that I really felt angry and cheated after going through the game. (Even after the distinctly non-heroic ending to Diablo I). With Warcraft III, I felt let down and not successful (especially after the last mission). Fancy graphics are no good when the game makes you feel like a rotten loser or when the script controls your actions so much that you feel like a condemned soul without a will of your own. I won't buy another Warcraft game.
Rating: Summary: U MUST BUY CAUSE ITS BETTER THAN STARCRAFT/DIABLO COMBINED!! Review: I have played starcraft and i am buying it and i own diablo. war craft 3 beats them all (not saying there bad games its just that warcraft 3s better). war craft 3 is much better than the other 2 warcrafts. if u r thinking it is going 2 be like the other boring 2d almost warcrafts than ur wrong because its 3-d and its battle net is the best out there. with little or no lag when u r playing. the only time there is lag is if there is a bunch of slo dial ups in the game which there isnt. the main game is great with wonderful scenerios. and oh yah u have a new type of character a hero as ur hero beats more enemys your hero gains experiance and more spells which u can upgrade as he gains experiace u. (a bit like diablo) u can have 3 heros 4 each race and u can control them all. there is like 10 times as many upgrades and wariors u can build plus a lot of new spells. also there is 2 new races u can be. u can be the NIGHT ELVES (my personal favorite) the scorge(basically the undead) the orcs and the humans. there is also the high elves and the buring leagion but u never get 2 control them (except once 4 the burning legion but only a little) yet there is a special way were u can become the high elves which is extremely cool . the graphics r great and the 3d land scape is great . its so real u can not only use the bird eye veiw but u can veiw it like ur standing on the ground. basically this game kiks...!!!!!1
Rating: Summary: GREAT GAME, MY FAVORITE Review: THis game is my favorite game ever for pc. IT has superb graphics and near perfect gamplay. The only thing i would suggest would be if you have less than 256 ram it might be kinda shaky gameplay. Also, if you have a slow internet it can be very difficult playing against others online.
Rating: Summary: One of the all time greatest games Review: This is, in my humble opinion the greatest real time strategy game to date, and if I may, I'd like to take it a step farther and call it the best computer game, period. With the popularity of game consoles, PC games have started to be put on a backburner at game developers, with real time strategy being the only exclusive genre, and this is the definitive title. I've read reviews here stating that Age of Mythology is a more complex game, and I'd have to disagree. While the single player campaigns may be easy on easy (obviously) and only a little challenge on medium, hard really does get tricky towards the end. The story is a nice touch, with carefully thought-out plots and race backgrounds while leaving plenty of room for expansion. Graphics? Nothing lacking there, although they are best experienced on something of a supercomputer, which, thankfully, I have. The lighting, especially on night elves, is second to none, and the characters have fluid movement and all the minute details that have brought this series to the top. The multiplayer is unreal. I mean this. My weeks revolve around getting my excessive homework done by the weekend-nights, not so I can go out, but so I can play online! (This isn't easy with my sports and school) So, in summary, buy this game if you're a fan of the series, if you're a fan of the genre, if you're a gamer, buy this game if... Just buy this game! I've played Age of Mythology backwards and forwards, and I was left thoroughly unimpressed, although I played it after Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, a tough act to follow. In addition, Blizzard is continuing in its tradition of phenomal expansion packs with Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne to be released later this year.
Rating: Summary: The Review. Review: This game is great. BUY IT NOW! Come'on, go. Its the best. Buy it on this site for a great price.
Rating: Summary: frozen throne great Review: great game only problem is to low of a food limet other than that the game is the best in the world
Rating: Summary: Awsome new expansion! Review: I happen to be one of the beta testers and this is just awsome! Beware though, there are alot of new features that can be very abusive. Each race now has a very affordable shop where heros can buy items, each race also has a variety of new units and 1 new hero each. There are new maps, no new creeps yet. Orc may be one of the most powerful races for the fact that batriders have been given more power than they deserve and for the cheap price can easily win games. The game is 80-90% complete and you will see new heros hit taverns in the future, also many new fixes will come up soon due to many harrasment and rushing issues. Alot of the units have bern nerfed to hell but still a must buy for warcraft fans. Newcomers beware, don't get this game right after you have bought the original Warcraft 3 because it will be very confusing. Some features I thought were pretty cool were the Nightelf hero being able to change the time from night to day or vice versa. Like I said alot of things in this can be taken advantage of brutally but will most likely be reduced in the patches to come. A feature I didn't like however that might be changed is when you pick up tomes they read automatically adding to your hero's abilities. But all of the unbalanced features should be changed in the future so be prepared. Frozen Throne is here!
