Summary: If you like mindless computer games skip this one.
Review: This computer game makes you THINK. It doesn't have stupid little riddles or mechanical puzzles that you can do mindlessly once you figure them out. I played this game at a friend's house and she kept saying, "Do you see the significance of this?" She ended up explaining everything. The only part I didn't like was that you had to walk around to all different places and remember where everything was, so you would really need to take notes. This is not a game you can finish in a week at the end of the day. I give it 4.5/5 stars.

Summary: I lived in 3 worlds, Waking, Dreaming and Myst
Review: This game is like a book that you can't put down- only you are in the story, not just reading it. For anyone who loves fantasy, magic and puzzles this is an adventure set in a beautiful and mysterious place. Even though I played this about two years ago, I sometimes feel nostalgic for it, as if I had actually been there. currently I am very frustrated that my CD drive jammed in the middle of the sequel, Riven! Play this game and have a wonderful journey!

Summary: Fun until you beat it then you might as well toss it...
Review: This game was great fun. It was challenging but once we found the answer to the whole game, whats the point in playing it again? It just got really old, really fast once we knew the answers. I would only recommend this one if you plan on giving it away when you are done and have the money to blow.

Summary: Myst
Review: This game, as has been said before, is incredibly complex. Myst becomes your world. I have caught myself thinking as if I was walking the Ages and trying to solve the Library. The graphics are intense and well worth the time. A warning: this game will ensnare you for quite some time.

Summary: A Visually Stunning Masterpiece
Review: This game, as the game implies, is shrouded in mist. Some people say it is a wasteof money and worthless. Others say it is magnificent, a work of art even. I agree with the latter. The reason people believe this game to be a waste of time is usually because they are unable to solve some of the challenging puzzles. Just as a student who is asked a question and is unable to answer will blame the teacher, regardless of the teacher's skill, so will a game player who is unable to solve these puzzles, blame the game, and not themselves. This does not mean that you should buy this game no matter what your skill. Many of the answers to the puzzles are obscure and scattered far and wide throughout the worlds of Myst. Most of the people I talk to have either said that they were enraptured by it (ok, those weren't their exact words) or couldn't get off the island (the simplest task in the game). If you lack a good mental ability to think outside the box, I would not reccommend this game, simply because you will not be able to enjoy it as it needs to be enjoyed. As for the game itself, the graphics by todays standards are about average, but the scenery, though a little grainy, is incredible. Other "universes" were invented which hold many different secrets and hidden clues. The plot is that you found a book lying in a park, and when you opened it, you found a moving picture. When you touched it, you were transported into the world of the picture. Now, you seek you're way home, and, with a couple of twists-of-fate, you just might make it. Anyway, though this game is challenging, puzzling, and at times frustrating, I would reccommend it as a mind game, capable of expanding your horizons. THIS GAME IS A MUST-HAVE!

Summary: What an awesome game! There needs to be more games like this
Review: This was the game that gave people the reason to buy a CD-ROM drive for their computer when it first came out years ago. It's a very beautiful puzzle game that has enchanting worlds to walk through. This is a video game classic that every mature gamer should have in their collection.

In addition, I have found that the music for this game was so enjoyable to listen to that I bought the CD of the soundtrack.

Summary: Very Overrated
Review: Why does everybody rave about how great this game is? I really don't think it is so wonderful. It gets boring after you play it for ten minutes. This was a waste of money.
